Taskbar 2.x with-in 3.x? - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a simple question. Right now I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (Verizon). About a year back I was using the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 (the first, Verizon as well). I am pretty sure I had an old version of Android possible 2.x something. It had the old style Task bar. You remember the one on the top of the screen not the bottom.
Is there any way to get that old classics style back? Any apps to change the appearance of the taskbar. I am currently using AWLancher for the home app. Samsung Galaxy 7.7 android 3.2 Verizon.

7.7 has never had ginger bread or any variant of android 2.x, the original galaxy tab did. With that said if you are rooted and on ICS you could change your dpi settings to get phone ui.

There is a firmware dump from the galaxy 7 plus in the developers forums, I think the code has been released as well. Not sure how you could get it to work though as that tablet is running honeycomb! Unless your running the Honeycomb rom from ssserpentine and technomancer. You might as well run the ICS rom at 160 DPI when it reaches beta stage. So nice!

Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

Why are no developers developing the Cyanogen mod 9 Android 4.x.x for the galaxy tab 7.0 plus WIFI only version? Its a real nice device and it will be awesome to have CM9 for this device. I believe the galaxy tab 7 plus is being ignored for the galaxy tab 10.1.
its all to do with the sauce codes...Samsung have them under wraps and are not letting them go easy also their is an issue with correct drivers etc... im sure when the codes are revealed their will be 100s of developers trying this baby out (wifi/3g) but in my opinion i think Samsung have kept this from us deliberately as they are launching the new g-tab 2 this is basically a crappy version of out tab but with ICS not honeycomb and buy them allowing development on our device before launch would kill the thrill of the new galaxy tab 2... disappointing i know
I read a article this morning that said almost the exact same thing you just did. the Tab 2 seems like a lower end device than what the plus is. Slower processor (or just underclocked) with ICS. I am perfectly happy with the tab plus.

Nexus 10 Ui on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1?

Ok so I saw the Nexus 10 Ui will be the same as the Nexus 7 Ui (Phone Ui), and in fact it looks very cool on a 10-inch tablet.. Is there any possible chance the Nexus 10 Ui will be ported over to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1? Just like the Nexus 7 Ui was ported to the Galaxy Tab 8.9, one reason is because of the new pull down toggles. It is awesome. As well as the NavBar... the buttons are all on the left and I have to take my whole hand just to touch a simple button. So my question is: Will the Nexus 10 or 7 Ui (really no difference) be ported over to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 as it did for the 8.9? Please, I love pull down toggles
Just wait for 4.2.
Mess with the DPI settings and I'm sure you could get it on Jelly Bean, or if you play around with the two source files that control the view, you could also get it. However, you won't get the toggles like are in 4.2 until 4.2 is released.

Multi windows 4 Tab 2

Hi,
I heard that Samsung decided to let use multi windows code by developers. Do You think Galaxy Tab 2 will get this features ?
I don't know. But it will be great to see on our Galaxy Tab 2.
I have this function on my Samsung Galaxy S3, but it useless becasue of height LCD which is little bit small for this function. I hope that multiwindow will works great on Galaxy Tab 2.
Still waitin'
Multi-Window is one thing I have on my Galaxy Note 2 that I really wish my Tab 2 SGH-T779 had, the T-mobile varient of the Tab 2.
I tried installing the Xposed Framework on it, but ended up with a boot lockup so I had to rip that back out, unfortunately.
If anyone ever progresses in this, I'll be trying to keep up with it and see where things go.

Couple of questions in one thread....

First Question:
For those people running a 4.2 rom (CM10 etc) - how does this effect your use of the s pen??? Do apps like s note and s planner still work???
Second Question:
Im currently on 4.1.1, now is there a way to have the Galaxy Note 2 way of doing multiple apps (multi view/tasking whatever is called)???
