sorry, what? i'm not sure i understand either of your questions. did you use any of the 3 apk's in this thread? everything including video works fine for me on Galaxy Nexus ICS.
i've only made the apk available and done some light theming here, so if you need technical support for the app, i'm afraid you'll need to look elsewhere. there's a support/FAQ link in the original post.
Yes I used the ics apk. I previously had at bat '11 but wasn't compatible with ics rom. I'm saying my video starts for a second then freezes, was wondering if anyone knew why? I'm a premium user of MLB.TV
Thanks for your help

got it...sorry to hear that, wish i could help more. and hopefully you get it figured out before the season starts! i'll be keeping these apk's updated as MLB releases new versions, so maybe that will resolve these sorts of things for various devices. good luck!
Thank you, I will keep people posted

updated OP with version 1.1.0, which thankfully removed the tacky LITE banners which i had removed in my earlier themed release and made a few ICS-friendly theme changes. i am still posting a version with a transparent widget, and a themed version may come later. just in time for Opening Day!
App is working fine. I'm thinking it was the recent update on 4/3/12 that solved any issues.
I found a way to watch all games even when you normally get blacked out. You need to use location spoofer pro. I picked Dublin, IRE so I see all games. Just.male sure that is running prior to starting mob app so it won't black you out.
Let me know of anyone needs help..
Thanks

great, glad to hear it! thankfully i am already out of market so i don't need to spoof locations all that frequently, but it's good to know that process is an option.
BUMP FOR NEW VERSION 1.1.1! OP updated.
not working after 4.0.4 update.
I'm have an unrooted verizon galaxy nexus. MLB at bat 2012 was working fine till I upgraded to 4.0.4. Says my device is not compatible. Had no problems when I was on 4.0.2. At bat light still works fine though.

sorry i am a MLB.tv subscriber and as such i only have experience using the Lite version, which works fine on my rooted 4.0.4 device. maybe they haven't upped the compatibility to 4.0.4 for the non-Lite version in the Play Store.
i hope you find a solution, i have been rooted for so long now that i forget what options might be available to you as far as a workaround. good luck.
bump for new version, 1.2.0 released today. ICS-themed version and Play Store version, enjoy.
I have a simple question. Right now I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 (Verizon). About a year back I was using the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 (the first, Verizon as well). I am pretty sure I had an old version of Android possible 2.x something. It had the old style Task bar. You remember the one on the top of the screen not the bottom.
Is there any way to get that old classics style back? Any apps to change the appearance of the taskbar. I am currently using AWLancher for the home app. Samsung Galaxy 7.7 android 3.2 Verizon.
7.7 has never had ginger bread or any variant of android 2.x, the original galaxy tab did. With that said if you are rooted and on ICS you could change your dpi settings to get phone ui.

Hi,
after I've upgraded to 4.1.1; I've seen that gt2 has lost the tablet UI that It has on previous ICS version 4.0.4.; and It looks like a definitive step.
For me it's a downgrade of the tablet.:crying:
There is some way to change the UI to tablet again without changing to ICS previous room?
Regards.

Actually , its not Samsung, its the way God and Google intended it.

Well, OEMs can do 'old' tablet UI if they want. But Samsung has decided to just go ahead and keep that aspect even while replacing other things with Touchwiz.
I find it stubborn of them. Google created their tablet UI and merged HoneyComb and Gingerbread into ICS and further but they are not capitalising on their innovation. Phone mode on 7" tablet is still fine but having it on Nexus 10 is just ugly and not ergonomic.
yeah, especially when trying to tap home on Landscape...
Good side on the new UI:
well, actually, none. most shortcuts from 4.0.4 in status and shortcut bar were removed.
-Except for the halo effect circle when you drag.
Bad side:
-Annoying to click from top then to bottom
-Trying to make it landscape, the feel is kinda annoying, like when you tap home on Landscape.
yeah and the worst there is no nicely working TabUI for DMA2 (4.1.2) out there...
For me, ReadyBoost when plugged into a PC or using extSD/USB drive.
Probably never gonna happen though!

I've been mostly HTC fanboy except disappointment with my HTC Sensation which is quite bad (I also have HTC Flyer and HTC Wildfire and I'm happy with both). Now I'm looking to buy some new 10 inch tablet, would you recommend P5110 as a good choice? Are they not faulty like my HTC sensation? Maybe I should look for some other models? Please let me know do you consider your TAB2 being a good choice, which model and what are the alternatives within similar price? I didn't ask those questions before buying HTC Sensation and I have device that have many faults that are caused by HTC not giving damn about making their product fully reliable I hope that is not the case with TAB2. Please share your opinions whether you satisfied with your purchase , would you recommend and any advice for new to Samsung android products guy. Thanks.
The Tab2 is a good choice but i think the Tab 3 is more potential and its price is good (199 Eur).
If you want good support from xda (more roms and other mods) you can choose tab 2 over tab 3 . coz 10 inch tab 3 has an intel processor so don't expect cynogenmod and other AOSP , so you should stuck in stock rom .
If you care performance and design over support then you can choose tab 3
But the better options in galaxy devices are note 10.1 (expensive) or note 8.0 . coz both have s -pen and and are goodplayers in the case of performance . So you don't miss anything out in these tablets

New nexus 7 is a cr*p .it has got multitouch issues and wifi issues and the buid quality is not that good (but on paper the specs are impressive and it has a good developers support(coz it's nexus!))

You can run many hd games really well with tab 2 GT-P5110 because i have it with cyanogenmod 10.2(android 4.3) and with custom kernel which supports gpu overclock but you don't need to so to play without lag. Just remeber that when you have bought(if you buy tab 2) you get custom jelly bean 4.1.2 c custom 4.3 or stock 4.1.2 rom because icecream sandwich is so bad, i had eve downloading problems on many sites with it but it is juat 4.0.4 or 4.0.3 icecream sandwich stock rom. I have had tab 2 for about 4 months and for example (with rom i am using) i can play nfs most wanted and asphault 8 without lag without overclock, and i am sure that too with 4.1.2. Reason why i don't recomend 4.2.2 jelly bean roms is because they haven't so good performance but its just me because i am gamer, but it has good features and so on.
There are probably better choices for the cost, but that said I've ran ICS stock, jellybean stock, cm 10, cm10.1 and cm10.2 on the 7 inch variant and have been very happy with it, my only gripe I've ever had was screen quality, - it's not HD. But that doesn't so me from preferring it over my kindle fire HD.
I am not sure it will be a contender when key lime pie comes out.

I suggest to choose another mark. Samsung will tell you that the device can receive the update but honestly it is a fake. I have a galaxy tab 2 10.1 and in Italy the update to jellybean was for January 2013. Now it is September and I didn't receive any updated. The same for my phone galaxy duos. **** Samsung

Hi. I think your choice also depends on whether you want the tab for games, for reading, watching series or movies, so forth...
I believe nexus 7 is a great choice if you care much about games or you are a developer, however my opinion is that Galaxy line of Tabs have a very good battery life, good developer support, and works fine for everyday use.
Regards!

I like my tab 2 7.0. Really happy with it, little lagging but I mainly use it as ebook reader and with nova prime on it lag is almost non existent. I don't noticed any lag in other games either. Again, lag only on the stock launcher touchwiz (even the s4 has) and some browsing.

Nexus 7 is good device and has very impressive specs on paper but it's not good for real life use. Actually nexus devices are meant for developers and high end users (especially nexus 7) . New nexus 7 is a very defective model on both hardware side and software side..and we can see their real build quality of asus from that device(very poor). If you're considering value for your money then flo (N7) is a no-go
If you want to see the poor build quality of N7 then head to this N7 thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2380223
I can compare to Kindle Fire original, N7, Nook HD (Hummingbird CM 10.2), Nook HD+ ((Ovation CM 10.2). The stock, rooted, 2.7 is my favorite
GPS, front/rear camera, MicroSD Card, microphone, hardware keys and IR are important features for me. With MightyText and Magicjack installed, I have what is almost a phone. A 7 inch GPS is a wonderful thing and that is difficult without the External Storage. Downside is weak screen resolution and poor laggy screen with Touchwiz (use Nova Launcher).
If screen resolution is a major factor, the CM ROM Nooks are a great value.
