Fellow Canadian Android users,
I have just taken to twitter, facebook and e-mail to inform CTV, City TV and Global that we as android users are not happy with with them only offering iphone video apps. If you agree with me please do the same yourself and make this a social media issue. once we have enough people see it, it might just become a trend and blow up. then maybe they will develop an android app so we can watch video n our androids in canada. thanks for your help guys.

I will support you cause merely as a fellow citizen and to abate the discriminatory stance taken by ctv, city and global in appeasing apple customers solely. I should duly inform you that media outlets are dry and have little content worth any value, the good outlets have both apple and android apps
OP if you have an issue with Apple...take it up with them. XDA is not a social media forum...Thread Closed & Thank You.

As a HUGE Phillies fan, you can tell I’m anxious about MLB At Bat 2011 and what it will bring to table. I was trying to get a hold of MLB.tv via Twitter and was referred to email the MLB mobile team. I asked if there were any plans to integrate live streaming video (MLB.tv) to their 2011 MLB At Bat Android app. The response I received was rather optimistic, yet rather vague.

What through me for a loop is the the Incredible is not listed nor are a host of other newer Android phones. One plus is that that the email mentioned that they don’t have any information except for the listed devices and more will be come available as the season nears. Lets keep our fingers crossed MLB fans!
Who else is eagerly waiting for opening day? Let’s hope MLB At Bat 2011 allows all of us to be there.

FYI Im Cardinals fan
Still can't watch local games I am guessing. Still a deal breaker for me.
I was hoping they would do that, the streaming during the World Series worked pretty well. As for local games, I wouldn't be surprised if someone finds a way around it. When I'm on 3G my phone says I'm two time zones away anyway most of the time.
You should check out Slingplayer. I never miss a Yanks game now that I have it, can set my dvr too.
that would suck if it only supported a few devices....that would be "fragmentation" that actually would piss me off since it has nothing to do with the OS etc.
If my Nexus S can't play MLB.tv and Netflix doesnt release an app soon....
This is a early statement. I'm baseball fan just let you guys know a head of time.

Hi All,
I have started a new blog called Android Gaming Reviews, specifically to cover and review the best games the Android platform has to offer. We focus mainly on the major publishers but do cover independent games if they pass our desk and offer a quality experience. I'd love to hear your opinions on the site as far as content or style. I aim to have a couple of reviews published per week, with news thrown in when available.
Check it out, subscribe, comment and feel free to send in or request your own game reviews!! Oh and if you're interested at all in submitting reviews on Android Gaming Reviews please let me know via email, however the site does not generate income so this will be a volunteer position.

Way to go!
Wish you luck, and perseverance.

My name is Mier, and I am the cofounder of Infinite World Comics. I've been with this community for a long time, and I've seen the amazing things the developers are capable of. So I'm wondering, can anybody help develop an app for my company? My company is going to be distributing online comics, and we need an app for the customers to be able to view the comics easily. We will pay for the development of the app, but we are a start up company, so we can't pay like an insane amount. But we can pay you in gum. If you are seriously interested, please reply or send me a PM.
Check out Infinite World Comics, the new face of digital comics!
Hello xda community.
Me with my college friend developed our first android application which in near future will be available on iOS too. So what is this app about? Did you ever had a piggy-bank where you collected you money?
This application allows users to collect their thoughts in to virtual piggy-bank, share that bank with friends, or exchange it with random stranger. When you creating piggy-bank, you can set hammer time which prevents everyone opening it beforehand. Also when exchanging piggy-banks, you will be able to rate those banks and be rated yourself. The better the rating - the better quality banks you get.
Basically good quality banks will have cool recipes, funny jokes or things that people find interesting. On the other hand - bad quality piggy-banks will contain total nonsense.
I can't post link because I do not have 10 posts on this xda account.

Hey fellow friends and developers! As we all know, the play store can be brutal and merciless especially for someone new like me.
My app here had been on the store for nearly 6 months with less than 250 downloads, the visibility is just discouraging and it is akin to being drowned amongst the sea of apps.
I really hope that some of you here might give it a try, thanks for the encouragement and here's the link.

It is an app that serves out inspirational quotes and words of wisdoms from historical figures and prominent individuals in the present. I had painstakingly sought out the ones that are especially meaningful, special and thought provoking.
Stay happy guys, oh and keep coding =).
