Is there a rom available for the htc sensation which has the possibility to adapt the intensity of haptic feedback and intensity of the keyboard vibration?
If yes, which rom?
Or is there maybe a mod available?
A friend of me with a sgsII has the possibility in codename lungo but the sensation does not have that.
Thanks
Not that I know of .you can only turn it off and on. I could be wrong but I've never seen that option. Hope this is helpful. Best wishes

I did, but i think it's to hard when I set it on 1ms. The miui rom is more gentle with the vibrations, but I don't like miui that much.
Edit: tried it again. It was standing on 1ms standard, but I had to move it to a higher level, now it's perfect
Thanks bro!

Hello, I just purchase one HTC Sensation and I have a big problem with ringtone volume. It is lower ! I read on the forum about this issue but I found no solution .
Attempts :
Volume+ ( software from market ) - nothing changed
Custom ROM ( CoreDroid Sensation XE V2.7 ) - same lower volume
Please help me with other ideas or others ROMs who increase ringtone volume with 20-30 % . Thanks !
Just bought Sensation XE and i have the same problem. I miss too many calls.
Sorry to hear that . Maybe someone help us to solve the problem
Until there's no fix, maybe try to make ringtone louder using e.g. audacity.
This is one of the reasons I'm now selling this phone. I also had the HTC Desire S and the problem was the same.
And no one could solve this problem?
I use CM7 SelfKanged10 rom and volume is quite loud. I stay away from sense roms anyway, they're like bloated cows.

true, the sensation's ringtone volume is not what you'd expect from a somewhat expensive phone. volume+ didn't do a thing for me either, until i enabled the "virtual room effect". no idea if it really is an increase in volume, but it definitely sounds different and if you ask me - it's "better" if not louder.

Ok, I'll try to install CM7 . I saw some videos with that ROM and I do not really like how it looks, but I will install to see if the problem with ringtone disappears ! Thanks for your answer .
P.S : Wait for responses from users who have installed custom ROMs and the sound of phone has changed.
I too have an HTC sensation and have many issues with sense which keeps restarting..also battery life is poor even after system updates..on top of that their customer support sucks..
I wonder how HTC Facebook page has so many Likes and good comments!

It's strange. Volume+ perfectly worked for me. PLay around with high settings. First I didn't notice the result either.
@manojv : I dont have problem with device restarting. And you're right, battery life is poor ( 2 days - only with calls, 2-3 hrs per day , SMS , and very little traffic on WI-FI )
@zoom2d : Hmmm, how ? Do u have full version or the free version from Market ?

+1 on this. I have a few custom MP3 ringtones, and jacked up the volume using MP3Gain - more than loud enough for me now.

Yes, but the sound is distorted. This is not a solution

Battery is poor!.. thats obvious for a smartphone!.. still try using juice defender!.
Restarting is a motherboard issue(I faced the same with my old Desire-after 2yrs f usage, i checked it with the Customer Care they told dat its a IC issue!)
Does ur phone restrt wen its heated up?
And Customer Support is Extremely Good!.. I checked out in Hyderabad and Bangalore!.. I dont know abt your place(TVC) Few Centers do poor Service!.. Avoid those!
If you want a remedy jus root your fone and dump a custom ROM that suits the best to you!
P.S : Sense Roms take a lot of battery compared to Non-Sense Roms!
Is there a way to do this by chance? Its very weak

I believe that's under settings/language & input/android keyboard (sliders to the left)/options for advanced users/
I tried the 60ms setting...still too weak.

Yeah I did that, I think thats just for the input though. Not entirely sure. Thanks for the feedback!
I wonder about this too. I'm able to get the haptic feedback for the keyboard to what feels normal but the haptic feedback for other buttons are very weak. I wasn't able to find a way to increase it for the back home and recent buttons, but I would like to find out how. The haptic feedback for those buttons were so weak that I never noticed it a week after I got this tab.
Seems like the vib on touch used work good waaay back on ICS .26...
Wonder what happened?
There's gotta be tweak to restore it.
Coming from the ground up
A feature like this is available in base OASP/AOKP, I believe, and as far as I recall CMx as well. If not natively available, it can be hacked in by a ROM developer, obviously -- if you have a favorite ROM, give PM'ing its dev a try. I haven't looked at the framework yet, so I have no idea of it's level of 'accessibility'.
Hi all,
I know on other Phones it is possible to tweak so the backlight of the buttons will light up at a notification. So I was wondering if it was ported to the sensation?
Thanks
Not that I'm aware of, but it definitely sounds like a cool feature. I'd use that!
i think that feature would be supported by kernel
i can't think another way
using an app... i am not so sure
by the way it would be a cool feature:good:
yeah, I'm also thinking of a modified s2w or something..
But thanks for the answers, although there isn't something like this ):

Hey XDA,
I had this code lying around for a while so I thought I just share it after I got reminded by the Sense 5.5 screenshots posted here today: http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.de/2013/10/htc-sense-55-busted-true-screenshots-of_8.html
It's not much of it that I could enable. But our current codebase of 3.22 4.3 builds have some Sense 5.5 related stuff already included. So here's a Xposed module to enable it.
The thing I saw include:
Fingerprint settings (Empty though)
Do not Disturb mode (Most of it works, only exceptions are not implemented yet)
Circumvent lockscreen and jump directly to PIN or pattern entry instead.
New colors in the Storage info (Woohoo! )
If you spot anything else, just tell me and I add it to the list. If it doesn't work for you, no idea. I tested it on ARHD 22 and it works
It might be possible, that future 3.X builds have more stuff included, but noone knows.
And no, I can't enebale the other stuff you saw in the blog post. Yes, these are native features, I just tricked the settings app to show them. No you better not trick the whole system to think it's Sense 5.5, it creates only FCs. Yes, Sene 5.1 is an uncreative name, suggest something better
Just install the APK, enable in Xposed, Soft Reboot and look in your settings. No config needed.

Very nice, thanks langer hans!
you work it with rom odex ?

Never tried it, but yes, it should work. It doesn't flash anything. As long as you have Xpsoed running it should work.

lol, no, we don't have the hardware. It's for the HTC One Max, which has a fingerprint scanner.

We added an option for that in our rom, no custom kernel required.
Is the setting in ROMs effective?
I can't find any video showing this, it would be amazing if anyone could do one.
