Hello all,
Just bought a N8010 and so far loving it to bits!!!
My only wish is to be able to use the 64g micro SD l also bought (well apart from JB of course).
The problem is that I cant format it to save my life, not exactly true as I can format it in my Note 2 as 64g but it wont mount on my Note 10.1???
After looking through the forums I think I need to update my firmware to be able to read me 64g card (SanDisk micro SDXC Class 10)
l have tried doing the software update option in About Device but no update is available. l have looked on Samfirmware.com and seen that there has been two recent OTA updates in the UK, are these the updates I need to be able to read my SD card? If so how do I go about installing these?
l am used to Flashing custom Roms on Samsung devices but have never done anything with OTA updates!

Did a search of my problem online and it seems that Motorola is trying to push an update to me? It will only download with an active wi-fi connection for some reason. Also I just tried updating my phone in settings and instead of saying nothing was available, its errors out because i'm not on a wi-fi network. Anybody confirm this for me please?

I just hooked up my phone to a wifi and its auto downloading an update.

I just checked my update status and it reads no update is necessary at this time? Any idea yet what the update is?
Its the first update we found on cheesecake. Its not official and I'm working with Mark the admin with Motorola to find out what it is. I guess he's gonna do something on moto's side. We shall see shortly.

I bought this tab2-7.0 (P3100) in Taiwan. Everything worked well and there was stock Chinese input comes with it.
One day I flashed CM9, then the stock SamsungChineseIME disappeared. Yesterday I flashed JB 4.1 leak, and still no Chinese input......
Of course, there are a ton of Chinese input keyboard from Market but I still prefer the stock one.
Anyone can help if there is any chance to flash back the SamsungChineseIME on the JB leak? Or is there a way to add Chinese on the stock SamsungIME. I saw there are a lot of languanges (even some very uncommon one) available on this SamsungIME but never see a Chinese one.
Please help!
samsungChinese Ime in jb.4.1.1 work fine . I am in taiwan too, and happynto use jb with samsungchineime now

Did you flashed the leak JB (probably yes because the official one is not released yet)? There was no ChineseIME came with the ROM. Can you tell me which ROM you flashed (which has ChineseIME) and how to get the ChineseIME? I am now using CEDIME but still wants to get back to the stock one.

Hi all I just flashed my 9305 to ripper rom latest using Mobile odin and it hung about 15% thru the way. After waiting 10 mins I did a batter pull and thought I softbricked the phone. But after a reboot android upgraded and I still have all my old apps and voila. Its ok 4.1.2. How did it happen.

great! i solved it by reflashing another custom rom cos the ripper one made my camcorder fail.
i'm on pandorium now and it's great so far, reinstalling everything from scratch.
Last year I do remember that someone posted a method by removing some file which prevented google to updating play store (it was called Market then)
I prefer the old black theme much better how can I retain it? I restored it from my backup but google updates it all over again n again. There must be a way to stop this update, please tell me how?
Found a way from a note I had stored earlier when I did this last year.
From the system folder I deleted MarketUpdater.apk after taking the backup & then reinstalled the older version. It now wont update.
You need to have root permissions before you can do it.
Hope it helps others.
I would like to know what was the last dark theme version before the new lighter version came out, as of now I have installed 3.10.14 is this the latest?
THe main reason I reverted to older version was that I wanted a dark theme but now I found a play store mod here

I have received an update on the air today. It is dated 11 nov. I checked manually and get it.
I feel the tab is faster.
Screen is have better contrast I feels more sharp
The brightness problem is solved

You won't get OTA if rooted first of all. The update is not Kitkat, just patches to the original firmware.

Theres one sure way to answer all your concerns.......flash it yourself.
For my tab I can't install any updates because I am rooted. Lol but I don't care mine is perfectly fine the way it is.
