Hello, i just wanted to share the apps that are working on my phone from the official leak of SGS III.
1. Game Hub: It's working great.

3. Dual analog & Dual digital clock: Both working great, but i don't know what does number 1 means.
4. S Suggest: Nice app, that suggest you the apps to use.

the number one in the clock means that Daylight Saving Time is in effect, so the clock is advanced one hour from "normal"

Any one of these worked on stock unrooted ics?

Even blackberry and apple can use chatonn..its free thou

Digital clock, also works only on touch wiz ICS ROMS. Resize it using apex or nova launcher.

I don't know because i'm rooted. try to instal the apps normal way. I think that game hub should work.

Any way we can have sms, phone and such (deodexed)?

GameHub works but everything just shows up as "Coming Soon" on LPF stock rom :/
Suspect it might be because of the default CSC (TGY) of LPF. What CSC u using?

How do I know which ics leak I am on?

Hello everybody!
A long time ago I could not wait for the official ics to come out so I installed one of the leaks. Well I want to go back now but I don't think I can just update the device from the menu. I do not remember which of the two leaks I installed so how can I find out? And how could I install the official one from att. Thanks a million guys, I tried searching but with no luck cause I don't know what leak I have.

Well, knowing that you are on a leaked version of ICS should allow you to downgrade to GB, but we do need to find out which leak you were on. Can you go to settings and about phone and take a screenshot or post what firmware version it shows? Once you determine which leak you installed, we can point you in the right direction for the downgrade file to flash. After you have gotten yourself back on to fully stock 2.3.6, you should be able to go into settings>about phone>check for updates, and so long as you are connected to a WiFi network, you will be able to download and install the official ICS for AT&T.

[Q] help ota jb zip

everything was fine with my phone it had Jelly Bean sense 4+ until I broke the sim card port. I took it to warranty there replaced the main board and the IMEI. I got back my phone and checked android version, it was 4.0.4 software number was 2.31.401.5
Oke i thought to restore the latest version what I had previously, but nothing came out, there is not available any update !!!
In google I found this zip file JellyBean Update 4.1.1 for x.xx.401.x - World Wide English (WWE).zip
and put in the phone , and think via recovery install
but nothing ! it showed red triangle error
how can i get back newest android version ? or instel the zip file ?
phone is not rooted !!

if It does not find any updates , before the warranty i had the jb the phone is not rooted
now i have only 4.0.4

I am pretty sure I know what is going on...
You installed the zip in recovery over the stock ICS! You went back to stock ICS cuz they replaced the board. and you cnt just flash a Jellybean zip over ICS you need to flash the JB kernel too!!!

[Q] How to stop play store from updating?

Last year I do remember that someone posted a method by removing some file which prevented google to updating play store (it was called Market then)
I prefer the old black theme much better how can I retain it? I restored it from my backup but google updates it all over again n again. There must be a way to stop this update, please tell me how?

Found a way from a note I had stored earlier when I did this last year.
From the system folder I deleted MarketUpdater.apk after taking the backup & then reinstalled the older version. It now wont update.
You need to have root permissions before you can do it.
Hope it helps others.
I would like to know what was the last dark theme version before the new lighter version came out, as of now I have installed 3.10.14 is this the latest?

THe main reason I reverted to older version was that I wanted a dark theme but now I found a play store mod here

It offers the latest version with black dark theme so you get best of the both.

Tab 3 7.0 new firmware

I have received an update on the air today. It is dated 11 nov. I checked manually and get it.
I feel the tab is faster.
Screen is have better contrast I feels more sharp
The brightness problem is solved
This is from my single day use. Did anyone else feel the same??

Do you know if we are currently rooted and do the update, we will probably lose root access right? Also, is the new OTA update including kit kat?

You won't get OTA if rooted first of all. The update is not Kitkat, just patches to the original firmware.

idt we will get katkat officially, 8.0 might

Theres one sure way to answer all your concerns.......flash it yourself.

For my tab I can't install any updates because I am rooted. Lol but I don't care mine is perfectly fine the way it is.
