[Q] Chaos Rings Install help.... - Asus Transformer TF700

.
I just bought a game called Chaos Rings for the Infinity TF700. I can not get it to run tho. I know that it will not run on a rooted device, but I also know that there is a work around to make it run on rooted device. All the people I have talked to say that if you install superSU or Super User it will run even if you are rooted. You must do a bit more tho also. Here is what the info file says to do. ( yes this is from a torrent site / but I did pay for the game and Square will not refund my money.
The game is labeled as: Chaos Rings 1.0 Root + Offline fix
1. Copy the extracted com.square_enix.chaosrings.googleplay folder to Android/obb of your device.
2. Install the CHAOS_RINGS_v1.0.0m.apk
Note : If you don't have superuser from the market installed it crashes. Even if your not rooted the superuser is needed for this file.
====================
When I try this I get a screen that says: The Check of a file and download of data are required "OK" ? So I click on "OK" then it says "File Under Download.....0% " and it just sits there forever.
Any one have any luck with this game. Square is no help at all
Thanks for any info
.

They removed the block for rooted devices. It should work even if you are rooted.

Looks like you are trying to run a warez version of the game? You are clearly missing the correct obb files.
I have the full version and it works fine. Just reinstall the latest version and obb files.

Hi guys! I have a rooted device (just rooted 2 days ago successfully) and have the ware version. I try both versions v 1.0.0 and v 1.2.5 . I copy-paste to obb folder after installing. Game just gets error during launch. (The unfortunately stopped problem). I try lucky patcher, nothing. What do I do wrong? I

Clever!
But bad advice and that is what happens when they answer people that they do not know! Even if I would buy it, it can not be used on Androids with Lollipop!
First we are sure we know, then we answer! :good:

Not my problem that you can't buy the game and it still doesn't mean you should be asking and getting warez support on this forum.

I made a question and you gave a wrong answer that would be waste of money, but i am sure that advising wrong to people here (especially when you don't know the answer) is not also your problem, as soon as your post count raises . You did not say it is not allowed to ask (that would be a right answer, second best after the "you can't play on lollipop"), you gave both an irrelevant and wrong/bad answer. That is a fact! Of course I would not pay for a game that I don't know if it works on my phone, that's why I tested it!
When people are wrong, they ask sorry, they don't give a second childish answer.
In the end of the day, you answered something different than what I asked and not only you gave two immature (as you don't know what I "can" buy) and irrelevant answers, but also a bad advise and as I could still not play the retail version, a bad/wrong answer!

Need help with Touch Flo Cube for the Tilt

I am an absolute upgrading noob. I have never done anything like this before nor have I even attempted it. So I was hoping someone would please be able to help me. If someone could even take the time to walk me through these processes I would be eternally grateful.
A gentleman came into my store with the Touch Flo Cube application running on his Tilt and I fell in love. The gentleman gave me the name of the program and sent me online to do a little research first. Well, long story short I ended up here and I was told this was one of the best places to go. So, I had quite a few very noobish questions and I was hoping that you guys could help me and would be gentle. I am very concerned because I have never done this before and everywhere I look there are very big warnings about "bricking your device". I have already gone through one Tilt due to liquid, and I do not want to go through another. So please please help me out here guys.
So, I have found a place to download the Touch Flo Cube from. The gentleman that I spoke to on htcwiki.com said that all I needed to do was install the application to my Tilt's internal memory, and then once I open the folder it would self install. Do I store this to it's own individual Folder? Or do I store it to a certain folder in the device? Does the device have to be unlocked in order to run the application?(Mine currently is locked to at&t Wireless USA)
Will the Touch Flo Cube enable me to view websites similar to the i-phone?
Will the Touch Flo Cube enable me to watch Youtube videos and other online videos? If not, how do I do so?
Also, I went to download the application, and it said that if I didn't buy some content that after 90 days my stuff would be deleted. Does this meant that after 90 days my application will be deleted off of the device? This might be a really really dumb question, but I just simply don't know the answer. Sorry

no it will not brick your phone
it will install on its own
no it will not make you view websites like the iphone or watch videos on you tube..you need to get TCPMP video player and the video bundle to do so
and that cube is prolly some 3rd party program that you buy...there is a cube application that is completly free...
the cube is just a cube that has shortcuts to programs and your favorite people...

I agree. This was a quick, informative reply without any attitude. For someone to ask such noob questions because the can't be bothered reading this site for more than a few minutes he should be lucky. Questions like this get answered every other day and just bog down the fourm.
Please do a lot more reading of this site so that you actually understand how to flash a ROM before you go a head and brick your phone. I'd say at least for a few days rather than a few minutes!

I wish you all the luck and hope you get what you're looking for, but, seriously, you couldn't use search and read for a little? Anything you wanna learn how to do is provided in Stickies, Wiki's, and Search. I had NO idea how to flash a ROM or where to start when I first got here. I just started reading thread after thread until I started to grasp what needed to be done. I understand you're anxious to get your device all modded and the way you want it, but unless you invest the time to understand what you're doing, jumping into this is NOT the way to go. Next thing you'll be doing is starting ANOTHER thread because something went wrong and your device got bricked. Do you wanna go w/o a phone for x amount of days until you either figure it out or buy another one? Doubtful. So read, read, and keep reading. Everyone is here to help, but they're also sick of people making their first post exp[ecting people to hold their hands and do everything for them. Good luck.

Creating a Downloadable "root kit" for the Market

I was just thinking... someone could write up an application that does the following:
It verifies you are running RC29. If not, it directs you to the sticky post on xda-developers (or sends you an email with the link).
The application contains a modified/rooted recovery image.
The application tells the user to type "telnetd" + enter.
Once telnetd is running, it telnets into localhost and automatically remounts the /system partition, and replaces the recovery image.
For noobs, it would trivialize a lot of the difficulty of rooting.
I'm pretty busy porting native applications and Mono to work with Android (almost done though!) but wanted to just throw this idea out there for someone else to pick up.
I can also provide source code for my Telnet client that is currently used to do the rooting. That would make a good starting point.
Its a good idea, though whether it makes it onto the market is another question. If u want root bad enough, then u should be able to figure it out through the threads here like i did
Even better, it automatically grabs an RC29 NBH from a server, saves it to SD, verifies the SD is FAT32, verifies its hash, renames it to DREAIMG.NBH and instructs the user to boot into bootloader mode.
I think this would be VERY helpful for those ignorant idiots who post on root-only apps and rate them down because they don't know how to operate Google.
Also, I think it should include an option to download the DREAMIMG.NBH file and put it in the root so that RC30 users can downgrade.

The thing is, this is exactly why the Android market is supposed to be better than the AppStore. There is no "official approval" process. Apps can get taken down if they are malicious, but as long as a developer has paid their $25, their apps can go straight to the Market.
I think we are all dreaming that an application like this would ever hit the market. I'm not saying it's a bad idea but think about what we putting in front of EVERYONE that owns a G1.
Do you really think everyone that owns a G1 should be trusted with root access?
What happens when the first application that comes to market place exploits root access and really does some damage/malicious to your precious G1.
I'd suggest rethinking this one.

Also, it seems like Google could certainly pull the download for violating Dev Distribution Agreement Section 4.4:

Finally, if you (or someone else) puts an app up there, people are going to download it and try it out. Inevitably some of them are going to be lazy idiots, and they're going to come to xda-dev and spam the dev board with the most inane and aggravating questions. Are you prepared to doom us to that?

So just post the app online without putting it on the Market. Then the whole G1 world isn't stumbling across it, but you can pass the link to friends who would like root but who are too scared or too busy to go through the process themselves.

if they are too scared they shouldn't have root in the first place. You won't understand what Superuser is truly asking of you and give the wrong application permission then Tmobile will have an influx of calls about "damaged phones."

My line of thought is, if user x can't follow the instructions in the stickies to get root, then he/she probably shouldn't have root access to begin with. I don't want my phone price to be subsidizing the cost of replacing returns from users who bricked (or mistakenly think they've bricked) their phones doing things that are not officially supported by T-Mo/HTC.
...just my $0.02.

It might even be possible to do a force reboot into bootloader. I know how to force-reboot into recovery, but I'm not sure if a similar method can force-reboot into the bootloader.
F the market, its a place for kids to hang out and yell "First" when their 3rd. What joke the Market has been. Cant get an honest review anymore, its all about Obama, gays, being first, and lack of "good games". Nobody even cares that the app says "this is only a test, you probably shouldnt download it", they do and leave bad reviews. Idiots.
If something like this comes to fruition, make them come HERE for it, so their asses can be banned for being chilish

I really like the idea of putting it all in one complete package with as little user input as possible, but I don't think that the Android Market would be a suitable place to put it. People who don't even know what root is shouldn't have it offered to them. They should at least have to know enough to Google "root on android" and maybe be lead to one of our threads containing the link to this kit. If it goes on the market I would suggest not branding it in any way.
I support the root package idea in any case.

One of the issues for some people is that there *are* a lot of posts. To get from point A to point B I had to read through one sticky on how to downgrade to RC29, complete with many pages of replies in order to get a handle on possible problems and solutions, then another sticky on flashing to modified recovery image so that I could find how to install the test keys, then another stick on upgrading to JF1.3, again with many pages of replies with potential errors and solutions, and then I realized I hadn't done the engineering bootloader yet so I had to find another sticky to read through.
I did it, and it was easy, but, wanting to be safe, I had to spend several hours paging through stickies in order to make sure I had a good grasp on the whole picture.
I would not have minded having the process automated a bit. I know what I'm doing and I could have used that time for other things.
Additionally, I think it would cut down on questions from n00bs going step-by-step through stickies and making basic errors. Because right now they're still going to go through the stickies and make dumb mistakes and ask the same questions, and of that only a small fraction will understand what they're doing and take an interest in how bootloaders and recovery images work and become the sort of users that should have root.
As it is now, I don't see the stickies as being much of a barrier to entry for those who don't know what they're doing and might brick their phones. They're doing it anyway. Might as well give them something to do it for them so they don't brick the phone right off the bat, and don't flood forums with posts about encountering errors cause by typing errors.

FYI Gameloft Rip-Off potential

Hey you know all those free and 99 cent apps that Gameloft had during Thanksgiving? Make sure you back up those apks before flashing your phone. I flashed mine back to stock tonight and when I went to the Gameloft site, they had no record of me purchasing anything. Fortunately I remembered I had backed them up previously. My paranoia paid off!
How does that make gameloft a rip-off? The same thing would happen with there full price apps create an account with gameloft if you want them to remember your games
Sent from my R800i using Tapatalk
And I did that first - before I ever downloaded anything to begin with.
Fortunately, I have my receipts from Paypal for the 3 games I bought. Opened a case with Gameloft, just to make sure my account gets fixed.
I'm pretty sure that flashing a new firmware to your phone can cause the website to think it is a completely different phone. I had setup an account and this happened to me.
I just emailed them with the list of games that I had downloaded and they sent me on the APKs. No hassle at all. Some of the best customer service that I have had. I had bought 2 games and gotten 1 in a free offer. So I had 2 paypal receipts and they still emailed me on the 3 apk files.
Pretty misleading title since you hadn't actually dealt with them to get the APKs back.
Sorry, I didn't mean to be misleading, that's why I said POTENTIAL for a rip-off. I didn't say it -was- a rip-off. But when they ask for your phone number and account login info and you give it and it comes back and says you haven't purchased anything, that's very suspicious. I just wanted to give everyone the heads-up to make sure to back their apks up if they are going to wipe and reinstall.
However, as you stated, I emailed them, and they sent me the links to download the APKs. Great! Glad they did - but isn't it interesting I didn't have any trouble getting my EA games back? Just sayin'.
Hey, don't flame me, man! I'm OLD! But I mean well!
Sorry, Gameloft! You are NOT a rip-off!
Wish gameloft just used the market because its really annoying having to go to their website.
Gameloft ain't rip offs. In fact they are the best. The problem with order & chaos recently. I sent them an email and gave me the update within the next day, then when I told them the play controls weren't working and could only play it with touch screen they are now giving me 95 runes for the trouble and letting me keep the game. 95 runes is equivalent to £15 as you have to pay to get runes. Now I say that don't sound like rip offs to me. Who looks a fool now ?

Right it looks at the device too. When you buy a game it give you the one for that specific device. Also it knows what games work and don't for each device. Hence why with some devices there are only 21 games or the play has 42 games fir example. So when you go into it on a different fw or Rom it knows that q change has been made and for fraud purposes they have to do that. If you think. I have 4 SE devices. The play, Arc S, X10i and the Ray. Now I bought games for the x10 and when I went onto it on my Arc S it didn't show the games. But.... It does say on there site on the downloads page. Games that you bought for this DEVICE. So why does that make them a potential to be rip offs. I think you need to stop wasting server space and also post in the right section. I.E. The general or Q&A section. Think before making threads like this. If you read it properly on there website it does say what you bought for that device and when changing fw they know. Or everyone could just use my fw and dl my games that I paid for. They need to do that as like I said it is to prevent fraud.

Also I am reporting you for being rude and disrespectful by telling me to bite you. Oh and calling me names. Which is not allowed at xda. At the end of the day you are going on about a company being rip offs and running your mouth before you even think. If you had just checked and emailed gameloft they would of sorted it out. But instead you decided to come here and start accusing and saying gameloft are or could be rip offs. So..... I would just think before you start saying things again and also before you start flaming other members as well. I was just explaining how they work on their website and was just saying this thread is in the wrong section. No where in this thread is there anything about an app but instead a company. So this means its in the wrong thread. Really..... you need to slow down and think.

So why were any of your comments necessary at ALL, since I had already said what Gameloft did to correct my impression AND say "Sorry Gameloft, you are -not- a ripoff." It's not like I could kill the whole thread at that point. Did you really think your post(s) added anything productive or useful?
Furthermore, Gameloft sells APPS, the APPS in question were previously mentioned in other threads IN THIS SECTION, which was why it made sense to me to post my warning about a POTENTIAL issue with those same apps. Everyone knows that almost nobody ever reads the General or Questions section, because that's where the n00bs ask things like "I just bought an Xperia Play. What should I do now?"
Finally - I concede that the "bite me" and "twit" comments were unnecessary, and I apologize for making them. However, your entire POSTS were unnecessary as well.
And here's me thinking that this thread was put to bed after about four posts.
Tbh Blackwatch, it looks to me like you goaded net into a response. It was all pretty civil till you showed up.

And I wasn't the one who was uncivil at all. I guess you didn't read the whole thread. I wasn't the one flaming and throwing a tantrum. In fact all I said was that this is in the wrong thread and my views on him saying gameloft are or have potential to rip you off. Everyone here is allowed to have there say and say there views but no one is allowed to flame and curse or swear in that matter as bite me is an American swear word. So..... I think you are again another one who needs to stop picking sides and stay the hell out of our little argument. Where does it say everyone join this argument. Leave it to me and him to sort out and everyone else stay the hell out of our argument. I didn't start an argument at in fact he did by cursing and flaming. I have asked for a thread closure as I'm sure we both agree it dint need to be open no more as it's just now attention to the trolls and dude there is no need to buy me a beer. Also I will be releasing a Rom soon and I need someone to be a tester for me. So if you want as a special and personal request I want you to be one of my testers and that's you and you only from this thread. I have someone else who I am testing for and he will test mine as well. Pm me and let me know.

FIRST POST EVER.. Lost my root from busybox, some advice please.

Hello folks, I sent this as a "PM" to one of the moderators and figured i might as well post it on the thread in hope that someone else could assist me..... ive researched a fix for 3 hours now n am now in a NO ROOT state..... anyways, heres my message.
" apologize if this message is short n to the point. I just wrote this long letter to you via phone and right before i was about to send all the text disappeared... Though im a new "official" member, ive been learning new things everyday through this site and wanted to thank you for hard work in this world of cellphone technology.
Listened to my brother(which i now regret) and I downloaded "busybox installer" from play store
Installed applets
Fixed permissions.
Noticed phone was slower.
Noticed i couldnt install chainfire 3d.
So i decided i didnt want busybox anylonger..
I think thos is where i went wrong and deleted the app through Settings> applications> busybox installer and then "cleared data" and uninstalled.
After that i lost root. Researched for about 3 hours and came across that some symlink applets did something n it took root away....
I saw a thread that you told someone to just reflash there ROM? I believe it was for the nexus??
Last week, after the root i made a nandroid backup with CWM
I hoping you could possibly shed some light on the subject on how ro get my root back without freezing bootloader or jackin somethin up, pleeeeease..
Thank you
ROOTED PHONE with "GS3DebugFS Root without using Odin"
----ALSO---- Just noticed this as well, took a screen shot and will upload.
When i deleted busybox, i didnt delete the .xbin applets busybox created on initial installation... ive been reading around that the fix for a bad busybox would be to wipe dalvik/cache in Su and then clear data in cwm n reflash my rom? What if i just go strait into a hardboot and restore a nandroid......
I have a nandroid backup, but its through ROM manager which Requires root and my phone says im not rooted.... but i still have the SU app??? I know im still rooted, im just not sure which files to wipe or how to restore properly... ive been reading that if a nandroid was made through Rom manager, then it has to be restored through that app or else the volume up+home+power method will send the phone into a boot loop or get stuck at the samsung logo.... i cant risk that gamble because this phone is my source of interweb at the moment and ill be straight doggy-styled if i get my phone boot looped...
Lets give a hand to the moderators who promptly answer their private messages.....not. i know this is a community and by no means do i consider this a support site, but c'mon.... its sunday night at 2:30 in the morning..... Really, i know moderators are the "rule enforcers", but its like me being back in the third grade scurrying through the hallways lookin for a bathroom and then i see a hall monitor... so i run up to this hall monitor and very kindly ask him if he could point me in the direction of the bathroom, n all he does is just look at your thread over 100 times and not give a single reply back.... buncha bologna sandwiches

I don't think I really like your comparison but anyway I saw this thread, your first post, got a chuckle out of it.
You were right to post it on the forum because 1 moderator may not have a clue how to help you. Then your stuck waiting longer for other people to respond.
But I think I can help you! Try posting this in the development forum below. There are a lot more people with development experience and rooting plus busy box is development.

Finally fixed busybox lose root issue
Well..... the problem was that i lost my root from a tainted busybox app.....
So i sat here and pondered how could i fix this Su issue........ duhh, just download SuperSu from the play market and enable it as SuperUser..... so i downloaded it, enabled it, went to Rom Manager n opened it n it asked me if i wanted to grant it permission. Did so and now i can properly restore my nandroid through rom manager..... Hey Thanks guys for the help!! I mean, once we all put our heads together and worked hard together as a team on this one it kinda makes me wonder how great of a team we are... Probably better maybe a little bit worse but most definitely just as great as the '92 Dream Team.... ..
Yeah we share put our heads together.

PetRiLJoe---- please disregard my last post, i just saw your post when i finished posting mine. Thank you for your response, n i apologize for my sarcasm ... i have been frustrated for awhie with this while tilting back a few beers. Got a lil liquid courage in me thats all.... but to be honest i think this busybox bug which i guess is now rare, must directly effect the Su app which essentially shouldnt have been tweaked at all since these rooting codes are so precise. I should have caught that before i decided to hit install n get all busyboxed.
This is honestly the best forum in the world. So much respect for the moderators/developers/testers who do all the dirty work for me so i can go on here and rant like i know what im talking about. Everything ive learned is from here, so thank you to all you hard workers for allowing me to root my phone so i can sniff my girlfriends twitter.God Bless.

lol no problem. Drinking and posting is not against the rules. And yeah I agree with you partly on these forums. This forum has some of the best people. The people make up the forums.
So got your phone fixed or no?

The moderators are usually chosen from groups such as Recognized Contributor....meaning we are good at helping people BUT we do not spend all our time reading every post. There are 60 moderators for 4 million users. I got your PM this morning but it was missing the link to the thread. But I am glad to see one of the great users on XDA helped you figure it out. Never delete without backing up.
Cheers
Kenny

Just to add slot of ppl that are new to rooting use suoerSU and change to superuser , or vice versa. This has been shown to break root if under the right user error . Just a thought. Ppl should be careful switching between the two and how to properly install busybox .

Yes, I was able to fix the "lost root" issue with this method, no problem. I made sure I transferred over my media to my ext sd before I restored, was able to retrieve them w/ no issue.
DirtyDroidX-(sry, havent figured out how to use the quote feature yet) - I agree, but somehow SuperSu was able to save me this to give me permission to nand restore via RM. Thank you for your advice, I will be more careful drinking and deleting in the future.
Thank you, Kenny. I apologize about the missing link, I thought I attatched but obviously I didnt. My bad for ranting last night!!

[Q] The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Can't commit about whether it's working on a Nexus 10, but it not working on my TF700 is frustrating me too. While you can't download it from the store, I've tried installing several different versions and it closes on all of them after the title screen appears.

i heard that it does work on the nexus 10 from other forums. Exactly the same story for me my friend, tried about 6 different .apk files all with the same result. It is lazy development by EA especially if the screen resolution is the problem, since the Nexus 10 has a higher one. It makes no sense for a top end device to lose so much compatibility.
I sent EA an email yesterday asking why, and now im waiting for a reply.
Sit tight
Cool. Will be interested to hear if EA responds. My guess is if they do they'll place the blame on Asus and/or Nvidia.

well actually they havent even bothered to reply to me yet, despite me sending 3 emails. its been over a week now, they obviously can't be arsed because they are awful developers.
I'll keep on trying anyway, got nothing to lose right?
a small update
So i actually managed to get a reply from EA (not to the email i directly sent them, which has now been over two weeks since ive had a reply, but a forum topic i started about the compatibility).
They said "It is the decision of the company that builds the device, which Android version runs on it. The Simpsons: Tapped Out requires Andriod version 2.3.3 (or higher)."
Er what? For starters android tablets dont run anything lower than honeycomb (aside from the original galaxy tab), and the TF700 is a MUCH newer device so automatically runs at least honeycomb. As we all know it did in fact come with ICS.
So yeah, pretty unhelpful, but at least i got a reply. Waiting for the next one now i guess.
LOL. That's an even more useless response then I expected you'd get, but thanks for the updates.
UPDATE!
I received an email from EA today:
"Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.
I sincerely apologize for the delay in response. Going forward, we would do our best to respond in time.
Having going through your email I found that you want to know about the compatibility for the game "The Simpsons: Tapped Out". I'll do my best to help you out.
I request you to please refer the link given below to check the compatibility of the game.

Go on guys, follow the google link, you'll find its worse than useless.
I guess im grateful for a reply FINALLY, however aside from "helping me out" that link made the reply useless.
Lets all give EA a round of applause.
Still no reply from EA I guess....I started this forum topic over on the Tapped Out forums. I encourage anyone with an Infinity to hop over there and voice your disappointment in the support EA provides for its hottest games. Here is the link: hxxp://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/0/9453462.page#28257145.

Actually....
Appologies for not posting sooner but ive been pretty busy with uni.
Anyway i have indeed received another reply. After them asking me what device i was using, what version and what the problem with the game is (!!!), they forwarded the information i gave them to another department :-|. THEN i got a reply...
They said that they would forward my query to the studio who actually make the game, and they will deal with it.
However, they said that i shouldnt really expect a reply, and even then they may do nothing. He ended by saying the game may or may not ever be compatible. Great.
I definitely shall be joining that forum and voicing my opinion, it worked for the sims free play after all.
At the moment it doesnt seem likely.
Wasn't there a "worst company" award recently?
I'm an owner of a Acer a700, which have the same hardware (tegra3, 1920*1200 res), and the game don't work on it too...

I did wonder if this device was compatible given the strong similarities. Thanks.
still no compatibility despite the latest update. Im gonna go on the forums and complain some more and request that the 4.3 update also includes compatibility I suggest everyone else does the same for the maximum impact.
SUCCESS!!
MAJOR UPDATE! The compatibility on the play store still lists the game as incompatible.
HOWEVER, google search "the simpsons tapped out v4.3.0 apk" and click the third link (it's apkwikipedia). You will find an apk to download in a zipped format (.zip or .rar can't remember). Anyway, the apk is working and as i speak im downloading the updates on the main page!
It is a modded apk (at least one of the .apk files in the package is) so you will get unlimited money.
Regardless, it is now possible to play the game on the tablet. I will update any problems/issues encountered once i've tested it.
Download and get playing! Spread the word!
EDIT: i have played around with it and everything seems to work as well as on my phone. If you lose your friends list, just sign in and out again of origin and they should turn up.
Finally got this game to work on my Asus TF700 and not by using a modded apk. Got fed up with the freezing and force closes that I was experiencing ever since I got this tablet using the official firmware, so I unlocked and rooted my tablet and loaded the Cromi-X rom onto it. Big improvement in performance. And to get This game to work, I downloaded an app called Market Helper which tricks thr Play store into thinking your phone or tablet is a different phone or tablet. The Market Helper app requires root, isn't available in the Play Store (so google it to find it) and while I couldn‘t get it to work the Play Store app, it worked great via the online Play Store (and once you reboot, your device ID goes back to it‘s orginal state).
Glad more people are getting it to work. To clarify, the link i posted does has both a modded .apk and a non added .apk
Also, slightly unrelated, how is Cromi-X performance wise? Was it easy to do? Did you keep all your apps and system preferences? Will it be possible to keep the game when installing this custom rom? Need to do more research before i commit!
