one problem here-no network on custom roms - LG Optimus 3D

hi there
i installed some custom roms,chupaleaks and king 3d rom,and my phone(p920) don't recognize my network(no network)
on my stock rom i don't have this problem

What was your rom before that? Froyo roms and giger roms need different basebands. Flash baseband for GB if you use GB rom, or you can do upgrade with kdz method than root and install CWM and custom rom. Read some tutorials before opening new topic.

You must upgrade it officially to gingerbread before install gingerbread custom roms .

noo... the custom rom developed by xda... ANDRO ID V3.2
I wasn't talking to you. I am asking TheWhisp. And the Android ID thing is basically CM7. If you want to have Market, earphones working etc, you can try flashing the Vanilla ROM for Mini. I heard everything that is missing in CM7 is included and working in that rom.

Based on rom

I heard some custom rom developers saying that their custom rom is based on stock jb rom. Does this mean I need to update my phone from ics to jb and then flash these roms or is it fine without it? I have rooted canvas 2 with cwm installed and stock ics rom on it

Hi,
Are you s-off?
If not,then s-off HERE
If yes, then, follow THIS THREAD to the letter (apart from the ROM you want to install)
Basically , GB is the wrong firmware to run JB ROMS.
You must upgrade your firmware ,but you must be s-off to do that.
Thanks!

To update without s - off, re lock your bootloader and do an ruu (ics). The unlock again and flash any jb rom.
Happy to help.
