Hi all
I'm new here so don't shoot me if I ask something soo stupid
I've been working on a project to capture the audio stream during a voice call on android.
I've successfully done all the rest of my application but then I ran into a problem:
there is no voice downlink during a phone call.
I've tried and tested every possibility that I could find on the internet and finally turned to using the root mode of my Phone.
The idea came to me when I found "AirVoice" (sorry being new here i can't post outside links :S) application that claims to be able to record both ends of a phone call + the comments on his website seem to confirm this.
I only rooted my phone yesterday following the great instructions of amon_ra (thanks a lot)
so I don't know what I can do and how to integrate it to my code.
I would like to know if there is a rooted access to the audio streams of a phone call?
Best regards
Jason
anybody ? (apologies for the bump )

Sorry I can't offer help but I had a question about your app: can it record streaming audio or does it only record from the mic? I would like an app that can record off the Sirius stream / other streams.
Thanks,
Tony
Hey guys,i am using Ventriloid on my phone, and i need to record those conversations,i believe that there is a app for this, but i cant find one.

Greetings all,
I have a quick question about video compatibility between different devices, specifically a Samsung Galaxy and an Iphone 3gs.
My brother just had a kid and he is trying to send me videos of my nephew (thats right .. not his son .. my nephew ), but they arent opening on my phone. If I send him a video, he can open it just fine. Im going to assume its a file format thing.
I went on some Iphone forums and didnt get much in the way of help regarding this (ie. an app that will allow me to view videos from a Galaxy). So I thought I would try from the other side.
Is there an app for the Galaxy that can record a video in a format that can be viewed on an Iphone?
Thanks a bunch guys and gals. Muchly appreciated.
I would like to ask anybody if can help me with finding one ringtone that I had heard somewhere and I recorded but with a lot of noice.
I think is the older sound of the older phones and I want to place it in my SamsungGalaxy S i9000
I will upload sample that I had recorded
Thanks to anyone that can help me
OK, i have a Samsung note 8.0 tablet (gt-n5110) currently running cyanogenmod 12.1 which is lollipop 5.1. I am an avoid movie downloader and I have tons of SD cards full of movies I've downloaded. I used to watch them seamlessly on my tablet until recently. I can't recall if this problem started with the new ROM or not but no matter what app I'm using or what movie I'm watching, after a few seconds the audio track will skip and subsequently become drastically out of sync (usually 2-3 seconds or more behind the video which is maddening to me). I have tried multiple apps however I still prefer MX player. I do have the custom ac3 codec but I've tried using the default codec for regular mp4 files, same problem persists. Also, the problem continues whether I'm using a Bluetooth speaker or not. Any help would be greatly appreciate . I've fooled with all the settings I can find in MX, tried VLC, etc. I can't seem to find an answer that had fixed my specific problem. At this point I'm really frustrated and just want it fixed so if the answer had been right under my nose, you can call me an ass, I won't take offense, just please give me the answer lol.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I assume you are using this ROM?
If so, here is the corresponding Q&A:
> Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 > Galaxy Note 8.0 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q&A] [ROM][N5110]Cyanogenmod 12.0[12/12/14]
Your developer should be able to assist in this problem. Please note, you will need to be registered for an XDA account in order to post there.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
