Hey guys! Here i made for you a C# program for ease of use in decompiling recompiling apks.
It has the option to sign the recently compiled apk or if option is unchecked, it will ask for you to select a new file to sigh, either zip or apk files can be signed!
Its pretty straight forward to use everything is at your finger tips!
To install, just extract the zip double click the installer and you'll be good to go!
Any feature requests/issues just let me know in this thread.
UPDATE: Added option to select jar files for editing
Added option to set "busy" window to back so its not always on top.

Is there any way you can have this work with the 4.0 .Net framework? I have an old PC!

First of thanks alot for your effort in this great tool ,
im getting this in the log
"" 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file. ""

Awesome tool my friend keep up the good work :good:

Thanks for the tool, it's very easy to use but I am a real noob so I need some help in recompiling the APK.
I successfully decompiled the APK and made some changes which I wanted to in XML file.
But I don't know the procedure to recompile
Can someone tell the steps in brief?
Thanks!

Nice job on a GUI interface.
However, generates errors on de-compiling and will not create a re-compiled apk. Even without making changes.
Error log attached.
Files used SystemUI.apk and Framework.apk
Acer Iconia A701 system dump files. Stock 7.1.1 JB
MD
Edit....... Never mind. Administrator rights....
Edit again..... framework worked ok,, but systemUI still goes nuts when decompiling and will not create new apk. same error.

Sense 3.0 CAM working on Sense 2 Rom...

I have succesfully got this to work on [ROM][Sense 2.1] GingerSense ReMix (B1)
OK...
The steps I took to do so..
Download Camera Zip: http://www.multiupload.com/EJI8A8SWT4
Using ROOT EXPLORER: extracted zip (sdcard/extracted)
I moved entire "Sense3_Camera-0.9" folder to: /system (for copy/paste ease)
GoTo: /system/Sense3_Camera-0.9/system/app (folder)
change permissions for HTCCamera.apk, HTCAlbum.apk (to: rw-r-r)
now GoTo: /system/Sense3_Camera-0.9/system/framework (folder)
change permissions for com.scalado.caps.jar (to: rw-r-r)
from their I copied content of each of the 4 folders in "/system/Sense3_Camera-0.9/system" to matching "/system" folder on device (and pasted)
rebooted phone
Camera 3.0 and Album WORKS!!!
---only issue is that "HD 720P (1280x720) setting in Camera will FC Camera so just set to "Widescreen (800x480)" to match The INC`s Screen Resolution!
--- And "YES" the 360 Panorama WORKS!
Hopefully someone smarter then I am can make the process easier.. I'm not a DEV.. just lucky in this endeavor.

Here, think I got it, I'm at my beach house and my friend left his phone at his house, so you all need to be the testers. Try the attached ZIP. It's currently CWM2, so I also attached a CWM2 zip, just flash the TempCWM.zip first, it will take you to CWM 2.5.1.2 and then from CWM2 flash the Sense3Cam-frostincredible.zip and it should work. If it doesn't work tell me!

Can you explain more about what you want exactly?
Ok...not very well informed on the APK and M10 conversion process, came across this M10 script, decompile, the files came out mirrored. Still need to learn a little more...LOL.
Anyway, I am trying to convert / extact the Doubleshot Sense 3 fusion_DS_v1.0.1.apk.zip file to get the Default Skin (blue highlights) to be an installable APK skin file for my Desire Z.
I have found the HTC Green to be not as attractive for me as the blue that TMOUS themes have, including the blue slected text, etc.
Any advice, insight, other stuff, heck do this and post the APK would be great.
See the file from Dropbox http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24558395/fusion_DS_v1.0.1.apk.zip
Thank in advance.
Man, I saw this thread a couple weeks ago, and spent an hour looking for it again today. This is great because I use ApkManager faithfully and don't necessarily like the m10editor.exe. Thank you for this wonderful script!

Awesome idea, very cool.
One small request: is it possible to include the UI for the download manager? The Hyper_ ROMs don't include it by default so selecting downloading files from the notification bar causes a force close.

I will prolly work on one this weekend so if you want to play with this make your nandroid and give this a flash.
Hey bro,
Good work getting yours fully functional. How did you go about yours? I used dsi-xda kitchen, I know it's old so that could be why I had issues. Just want to find out where I went wrong haha, I'm all for learning
Thanks for the upload!

No, I actually only use DSI-XDA kitchen myself.
I did what I always do, grab the stock image from Google, break it down, add my own root and busybox (not the ones in the kitchen, they are older).
Then I use my updater-script that I hand built from prior releases along with matching binaries.
Pretty much that is it. I am going to look at yours in a minute and I will PM you what I find.
EDIT: Sorry, I didint mean to cut you off on your thread either.
Downloading now, thank you ?

Thanks @scrosler. Going to wait for your Clean Rom.
I just tried to flash it (deodex) in TWRP, and it failed. It says:
symlink: some symlinks failed.
E:Error executing updater binary in zip
EDIT: I redownloaded the file, and it worked on the 2nd try. Must have been a bad download.

Don't worry man haha, yours works better let's be honest so we might as well get people using it.
Interesting I did pretty much the exact same, added the updated superuser since there is a really old one in the kitchen like you said. I think my updater script was okay. I guess I had some weird binaries or something, I just grabbed them from a 4.4.2 rom, not entirely sure what there purpose is. Or how to view/edit them.
I'll probably have another blast at it tomorrow just for the fun of it, I want to try get it working so I know for the future
EDIT: though I had issue with root not working out the box, maybe I missed replacing something. What files did you replace?
If you want to look at mine it's here: http://d-h.st/rMs
Sorry for being curious

This is an error with TWRP. Just reboot into bootloader then back into recovery and you will be fine.
New boot loader included?
