Yea stuff like that need touchwiz framework which obviously cm doesn't have... if it didn't I would like to have some sense widgets but its not possible

That's fine I just noticed the cm10 ROM comes with a gallery widget and as for the music player I just started using the Sony walkman player and I have to say its amazing, all it needs is a working widget, thanks for the heads up guys

I recently installed CM7 and i noticed that its missing one of my favorite widgets, which is the stock 4x4 bookmark widget. i used it frequently and i cant seem to find a replacement. is there a way i can install the stock MT4G bookmark apk?

nope. That is a member of the Sense Framework. you cannot port it to an AOSP ROM.

Launcher Pro has a nice bookmark widget but it's a paid app.

Plz no spam here, btw you can use xperia arc launcher and widgets but those widgets cannot be used with any other launcher. You can find that somewhere in x10 themes and apps section.

SE 2.1 has not Weather widget & music player widget. XPERIA arc has Music widget but does not install on 2.1 or 2.2 ROMs.
Recommended For weather widget:Go Weather
Recommended For Music player : any Music application has own widgets.

Hey man theres already a rom called xperiatized i think and its in the Galaxy Ace Development so why you dont go there and istall that rom cuz those widgets i think will never work in your ace

Android Pro widgets, its almost an exact copy of the Launcher Pro widget suite and free
Pure Calendar is the only other solution really, but it is paid. There's also Colorize (which I think includes a calendar widget).

I dont know.about you but pure calendar sucks the battery.dry, colorize widgets is pretty cool i reccomend it

Move to system app folder and change permissions to rw-r-r and reboot, it will show up in your widgets.

does this work on a gingerbread rom
or does it need a different calendar.apk and calendarprovider.apk to make it work
Jorte calendar is good and has a selection of widgets,I find it as good as sense widget

Try the BeWeather app... connects to weatherunderground and I think is the best weather app... has several widgets, all customizable to make transparent and all look nice.

Can someone please point me in the direction of a Picture Widget similar to the one in JellyBean v4.1
I really like how you can have the widget flip through images that are assigned in a gallery folder.
Now that I am using a 3rd party launcher I cannot access that particular widget goodness.

I dont have a screenshot at the moment.
I wasn't anything fancy just a built(stock) widget that was nearly the size of a homescreen, displaying only one image at a time. The coolness was being able to flip through the images.

I have JB on my phone bu there is no fullscreen gallery widget.
Are you looking for Sense Gallery widget instead?

I don't know of any other widget which can give you almost full screen photo widget.
But give a try to android stock gallery widget from any AOSP ROM (or CM10/AOKP). They are pretty .

I think you are talking about "Photo Album" widget..
See the screenshot.
If this is the widget you are talking about, then sorry to say you can't have it on a third party launcher. It's a Sense based widget and can only be use with HTC Sense.
