I recently installed CM7 and i noticed that its missing one of my favorite widgets, which is the stock 4x4 bookmark widget. i used it frequently and i cant seem to find a replacement. is there a way i can install the stock MT4G bookmark apk?

nope. That is a member of the Sense Framework. you cannot port it to an AOSP ROM.

Launcher Pro has a nice bookmark widget but it's a paid app.

Where can I find the widgets that Pro launcher uses for it's messaging and facebook that is used on it's theme. I would like to use them on ADWLauncher EX. Or is there anything similar. Thanks in advance

without knowing what these widgets are exactly, i would imagine that they are part of that particular launcher. Launcher Pro has its own version of the messaging widget, and the official facebook app has its own widget also. i dont think it is possible, or at least very easy to migrate launcher specific widgets to other launchers. hope that helps.

They are Launcher Pro X widgets. I like the layout of them and wondered if there were any similar, apart from the official FB app or Handcent app (pop up) which I am currently using. I would use Pro launcher but I prefer the ADW launcher EX ui.

Try Pure Messenger Widget from the market (paid), but similar to the LPP widget
I was looking around for something like this too, I don't need to use lpp anymore because 2.2 stock launcher is pretty much the exact way I had it setup

I've been using Colorize Widgets for a month now and I have to report that they look and work great!
You are right, an all in one widget would be cool, but as far as the widget size is concerned, most launchers nowadays let you resize,
so that would not be an issue.

No reason why not, it's just a widget if I'm not mistaken!
When i go to choose widget its not there... friends+ is but i quite liked the social+...

I think you can't use these kind of widgets in combination with an alternative launcher. HTC Sense widgets only work, if you use the Sense launcher.
But maybe I'm wrong, that would be great I would also love to see the Social+ widget in combination with my LauncherPro.
I'm having the same problem and it's driving me nuts, liked it way better than any of the other social networking widgets. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!
I use Zeam launcher and cant use it either. I dont mind the LG launcher but i prefer having my screen 5 icons wide
Hey guys, i really love the AOSP ROMs, but i miss the sense widgets a lot. Anyone know any good replacements for them, especially the following widgets?

=>Friend Stream
=>The Giant Weather Clock (there's a ton, i need to know which you think is the best)
=>Messages
PS - I do not want to install a launcher like ADW, GoLauncher or LauncherPRO, so keep those suggestions out. Thanks.

sry cant help you there because i never used that widget
Pure Messenger Widget replaces Friend Stream for me. It can also display Emails, Messages and Call History. Pure Calendar Widget replaces the huge Sense Calendar widget.

Android pro widgets does the trick for me when I go non-sense. Although the "people" equivalent is not linked to facebook, sms and etc.

Yeah, i am using that now. The widgets are not nearly as polished as those in sense,but they'll do.
I like the go launcher widgets most, they are near by to the sense ones, but unfortunately not useable without go launcher(except go weather widget, a nice replacement for the sense clock/wheater widget).
i prefer the go weather app for weather. it works without the need for go launcher. as for people... im still searching... btw, chk out agile lock if u want the lockscreen. it works well, no lag and like in sense, you can put custom lockscreen apps...
I use gosms pro for messages, really good imo

The HD Widgets (recently in that 10p sale) is very nice. I've used it in post #282 of the screen shots thread. Not as many skins as Beautiful Widgets, but still a nice looking clock.
Another clock I like which doesn't get much of a mention is WP Clock. It's more of a Live Wallpaper than a clock, but it lefts you have a nice, clutter free main homescreen.

LG widgets won't work on Nova.
Someone made a damn good replica using Zooper widgets, give it a search in the play store.

Ah thanks, I'll search for it. You know if it has the little tip under the widget too? I thought those were pretty unique.
It does but it is based off the forecast which then triggers a certain text that the person entered. You can change what it says to your liking though.

I don't believe that you can use the stock weather widget in Nova, but you can find plenty of other nice clock/weather widgets available. Beautiful Widgets is a good starting point.
I also run Nova, and use HD widgets for Weather/Clock widget.
