I got today a message about new update for my Asus 700, and updated it just from OTA to version JB 4.1.1 - JR003C.WW_epad-10.4.4.20-20121026.
All wents smooth and without problems. After update root was gone, but voodoo Keeper made his magic... Also-root work fine now as well...
It is in Germany.
I dont think this belongs in development.
There's a thread in General on this update already, posted like 20 mins before this one. It can be found here. And correct, this shouldn't be in the Dev section.

Everyone keeps posting on here that there is no root method for B70 transformers. I returned my first one and just got another one a couple days ago. First one was a B60 and the second one was a B70.
However, upon getting the second one I forgot to even check the serial number to see if it was one of the ones that couldn't be rooted. I did the one click method with the Ubuntu script and it worked perfectly.
I'm running Prime 1.6 as we speak. Clockwork installed and working fine.
EDIT: Complaining about a question mark. So reformatted so I didn't ask a question

This is a perfect example of a thread that should be posted in Q&A, not General Discussion. Quick Rule: If you end the thread title with a question mark, put it in Q&A.
As far as the question itself, not all B70s have the new SBK. The ones with new SBKs cannot be flashed using NVFlash, but IIRC the one-click method will still work. If you try to use NVFlash and it fails, you have a new SBK.

Are u sure the 1 click method will work?

There are 2 versions of the B7O, one where both the 1-click & nvflash works & one which is unrootable atm and none of the options work!
If you have the one that works, congrats! if you have the latter one...tough luck and be patient, hopefully there will be a way to fix it soon

Jb and how to get it is all over the android developement section, q&a section, and general section read a couple topics! I have pasted a link to the info in several similar threads as this. Have people completely stopped reading forums for answers prior to posting questions?.......

Hello, I had HDMI working on R4INS AOKP JB up to and including the Sept. 5th build. Since that time HDMI is missing from AOKP JB (or any cm10 based rom). I have mentioned it but, it doesn't seem to be a high priority and I understand. Since It was there before surely there must be a way to put it back in. I was wondering if maybe it was something as simple as a build prop. edit or something that is way over my head? Thanks in advance for any help.
Edit: You are correct I should have posted in Q&A. Anyways I answered my own question. It is as simple as a build prop. edit. With build.prop editor, add: "ro.hdmi.enable" set value to "true"
There is a thread in q&a to discuss this ROM. Best to ask there.

Since this is no longer a question, Should it stay here for general information?

You posted in wrong section, should post in Q&A (question & answer). This is for development only! There is no JB 4.1 update yet! did you just came from MARS?
So what is this
http://campuslife.asus.com/index/85...00-jelly-bean-update-10-4-2-15-release-notes/
It clearly stated "The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) Jelly Bean update has been delayed." on the link you provided...
And yes this should be on Q&A section, this thread have nothing to do with development refer to this next time on posting a thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1834615

If you read it again you'll see the statement that it's delayed (just above the rating)
From the link you posted
Android Jelly Bean update will begin rolling out in the US on September 27th, 2012 for the TF201 and on September 28th, 2012 for the TF700. [That's today]
Update: The ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity (TF700) Jelly Bean update has been delayed. Watch here for news about the release date.
Please read EVERYTHING before you post.

just report it and move on.
Personally, I never understood why it was such a crime to post something in the "wrong" section... Yes, it's not the correct place to post it, but people act like it's the end of the world or something! Really, it's not *that* big of a deal!
That being said, the development forum *is* a little different - it really should only be used for posts from developers for items that they have developed. But sometimes you'll get people all worked up because you posted a question in the General section! To be honest, I'd rather not have sub-forums at all - it's just more work going in and out of all of the subforums! If you are looking for something specific, just search for it!
Sorry - just a little rant there!

Who knows when the new version going out
Edit
Never mind I got it from ASUS
Newest update was just released.
Is there anything we should do before Updating to the latest version? I doubt we will lose root but still it is good to know if we might lose something. Just want to make sure everything remains the same as before.
