What are you talking about, we've had the Official ICS update for the better part of this month! The Blaze ICS update is and always will be manual, so you will have to use the KIES software for your computer to connect to your phone. Then you can run the update, in fact if your phone is rooted you have to revert back to an unrooted phone for KIES to connect to it. I'm not sure what this guy is trying to get you to do but I would update to the official ICS with KIES first and then ROOT if you so desire.
I'm running stock ICS that I've rooted and debloated because I need Wifi-Calling.
And as always, just search the forums man, you would have found this stuff out in 5 mins if you had.

Didn't know.

As said by chjema there are some Jelly Bean roms. There is a official one that chjema also mentioned. The CM10 by dr4astic. Its unstable but its an official from cyanogen. If you just want CM9 there is a stable one from Erik. Look in the android development. There are a lot of roms you can choose

The last update that was released, you will get a failed update notification via OTA. However, with Kies, its successful, but of course you'll lose root, and all your T-Mobile bloatware is re-installed.

ICS & Gingerbread question

Is it ok to flash a Gingerbread radio to a ICS rom? I was having a problem with my GPS on the thaz ICS stock detoxed rom. And I read in a SGS II forum that some1 was having the same problem on an ICS rom and he flashed the Gingerbread radio over it and it worked like normal. Is it ok to flash the blaze gingerbread radio on this rom and if so where can I find it?

rofl that's the only page where I would trust that site at all. but the info is pulled directly from noaa.gov (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). They have a space weather prediction center somewhere imbedded in the site. The site I linked to is pulling that site in a frame and I was too lazy to hunt through the source.
But since the legit-ness (and I know the real word is legitimacy) is in question

I've tried cm-10.1.2 real quick and it was good. A bit slow on lockscreen wakeup and incall headphone volume needs to be increased to decrease lol but other than I didn't notice anything. Running MIUI now, as per my signature.
I'm running PACman 4.2.2 ROM with moretz kernel it is stable, it's my daily driver. It is fast, I'm able to get the look, feel and speed that I want. I am only looking for a Wi-Fi fix. When I use the Wi-Fi tethering, my computer says "limited access" to the internet. It does connect though. Other than that, my setup is snappy and I'm happy!
