[Q] Unlocking jb bootloader - Asus Transformer TF700

Hey guys,
Is it possible to unlock the jb bootloader without downgrading?

Yes, several people in this forum successfully used the unlock tool with the JB firmware.

On the website its given only for ics.

same tool but worked for both ICS and JB. I have tested myself on JB.

It worked for me on JB without any issues. They just haven't updated the site.

There's all kinds of threads on rooting the tablet. You have one that was rootable from the start when it was first available. I used the root toolkit v7.1 and have had no problems. I installed CWM and then updated it to 3.2.0.1 from Roach, then backed everything up.
Hope this helped.

You have a B50 that people would kill for you have nvflash not just root use it!!!!!!!!
Or swap it for a b80 90 and give your unbrickable tf to one of the devs who has a b80 but wnts a -B70 with nvflash

So what's the main reason to root a B50? I feel that my tf is pretty fast already.
To overclock and tweak your tablet
