Lost all data connections - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Last night I lost my data connection. Phone started random reboots, then data gone. I reinstalled the rom and the reboots stopped but lost data connection. Today just a red r above red signal bars. Pulled battery, reinstalled rom, attenas, kernels. running JB AOKP 4.12 , trying latest HE and HD attenas made no difference. Shows 000-000-0016 for my number and unknown 0 for mobile network type.

Try going back to stock or flashing something else.

U have to download a desktop installation file, connect your phone in charge mode, and then activate the service. Its quite a bit, but totally worth it.

you lost your IMEI....theres a forum with a guide on how to repair your IMEI, if you had a restore from a rom that you had your IMEI on, its possible that restoring back to it would restore your IMEI, otherwise, you're out of luck
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1852255 there is an adb command to restore it even if you lost it without a backup

Help. Lost all hope for this phone.

Hi, Ive had galaxy s3 for almost 4 months. with quite experience, with ROMs and Rooting and such. Ive used cm10, Synergy Rom and CLEAN rom. About 2 days ago, I flashed MIUI rom and all of the sudden, I lost my signal and went into roaming.I wish I backed up. I tried to repair my IMEI and ERI by using this using this tool, ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1867442 ) and. only problem was it wasnt broken ERI or lost IMEI. So i decided to odin back to stock and call *2767*3855#. It goes stright to verizon message or tech support. and so i thought my SIM was fried, about 3 hours ago i went to Verizon retail and replaced the sim. Still nothing. And they said they cant help me. I have no warrenty or anything as well.
Any help with is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Read this on another forum regarding this issue for MIUI for the Verizon GS3:
"In CDMA subscription, NV was selected, so I clicked UIM and gave it a reboot.and I had data. So decided to flash miui again right now and NV was selected again. UIM and reboot.and I have data."
Perhaps this is your issue as well. No harm in checking, I guess.

[Q] Should I be okay to return to Verizon?

So I was rooted and had MIUI running when all of a sudden my radios stopped working. I gave up on trying to fix them because every method i found here didnt work. so i went back to stock, decremented my flash counter, and even passed 2 updates successfully through Verizon. should i be okay to return it? is there any other way they could tell that i rooted it?

your devices data should be fixable...restore imei(if it shows all zeros) and then reprovision your device with dialer code *2767*3855#
if you already attempted this then yea it sounds like the device is ready to be returned.

[Q] Just installed ROM, no APN though?

Hi, I just recently installed Slim Bean 4.3 (stable) on a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 as well as flashing gapps, however, I don't get mobile data. I was told to check my APNs and there weren't any. Is there a specific one I should be using? I've attempted several from the internet and/or here, however, I'm still unsuccessful.
I would greatly appreciate a working APN or other solution that I haven't noticed, because I'd like to use Slim Bean. I'll end up flashing back to 4.0.4 stock and trying another ROM if I can't find something good.

I tried this (as well as flashing CyanogenMod) but still to no luck on both ROMs. I'm about to flash to 4.0.4 and I'll probably keep it there at the moment. I noticed that I was using TWRP 2.5 which isn't the latest version so I'm gonna try to figure out how to flash 2.6 as well.
Alright, so, I flashed 4.0.4 (through ODIN) and I don't have data through there either.
Hm.
Time to go deeper.
Be careful what you do, kids, you might lose your data connection and be incredibly annoyed!
To be fair, I was kind of just messing around and not paying strict attention, so this isn't incredibly surprising to me. If it comes down to it I'm going to get my phone reset with Verizon.

I would try flashing to 4.1.2 mf1. I lost data on 4.2.2 twice and one of those times I flashed back to 4.0.4 and didn't have data. Flashing to the latest 4.1.2 fixed everything.
do you happen to know what the problem was?
i'm downloading Official VRBMF1 4.1.2 right now.
