[POLL] Is the xe rom doing somthing strange with normal "htc enhanced" audio
Hi all
Iv been looking at what this beats audio enabled acctualy is on the xe roms.
I have found that it is just a different audio calibration sent to the sound driver. But what I would like to find is if HTC changed there normal HTC enhanced audio in any way ?.
Some tech stuff
On a non xe Rom the acdb I'd used for callibration when using headphones is 10
On an xe Rom the acdb I'd for "htc enhanced" sound with headphones is also 10
On the xe Rom when haveing beats enabled and headset the acdb I'd us 502
My question is, is it just me or does the HTC enhansed playback on the xe Rom sound worse than the playback from a original sensation Rom
Best way to compare is with the xe based roms and the HTC sense roms for the original sensation"
Many thanks

No way its fudging awesome for me. I use beats headphones don't no if that makes a difference
i was just playing music in my car with beats enable its alsome but enhance is more f up on the ex than the original rom also you shouldn`t post this here
HTC enhancer in the XE is worse than SRS enhancement in the original sensation .
But Beats audio is a different story ! it is amazing more powerful in everything (Bass , treble ,clarity ,and volume.)
You'll hear this huge improvement if you use any Hi-End headphones ,not necessary a Beats ones.
Yer the beats profile is good .... but im looking more into the HTC settings. Mainly if its worth extracting the calibration data from the libaudio in the XE rom for use elsewhere

That sounds like a ridiculously good idea if the libs are able to be extracted.
whatever the XE rom is doing to sound, its spectacular...i been complainging about th4e sound since i got my sensation..thr Desire hd sound was wayy louder...and now im happy with my sensations
I kind of agree. My quad ddriver customs sound better with the beats mode than srs.

i dont really listen to music on my phone but does this bests stuff enhance the speaker during calls or the spekerphone cuz both suck. I have a hard time understanding people on phonecalls.
It amazes me cuz i love this phone and everything else works great...but the most fundamental purpose of a cell phone (to make and recieve calls) is way below what you would expect for such a high end phone.
Keeping both Beats and SRS will be better
I've been playing around with the beats EQ for the last hour or so using the HD Revolution Rom and the stock rom, the beats EQ is quite powerful (and good, now that I've tested it in depth) but the standard sound when beats is disabled is atrocious and when you compare the htc enhanced from XE to the standard Sensation HTC enhanced the XE's is much worse in sound quality.
My only issue right now is that the beats EQ only works on the default music app.

Beats by Dr Dre

possible to include it on 2.3.5 / sense 3.5 ??
maybe someone could tell me compatibility ROM's ??
Sound experience !!
Don't think so, and it's not worth the hassle. Just use a decent media player that has an EQ in it and tweak it yourself
We'll just have to wait for a new 3.5 device with the beats audio in it, then when the ROM leaks, and a genius developer ports it to the sensation, then we would have it!

beats solo hd wireless bluetooth for galaxy fit

hey guys
this my first thread in xda fourms
please i want to ask you if the beats solo hd wireless bluetooth works on samsung galaxy fit and how it works
Wait here!!!
Don't waste your money. Beats audio is just a gimmick. Although if you are interested, I'd like to tell you that first you'll need to install the beats audio in your android phone otherwise your headphones won't sound any good ( if you say so).
Go to the [ADD-ON][LIGHT][Port] Beats Audio and perform the whole procedure. You'll feel some difference but Root access is necessary.

[Q] Beats by Dre Solo HD ControlTalk on JB 4.2.2

Hi guys,
recently I bought the new Solo HD headphones by Beats by Dre. The manual was pretty clear though, saying that the ControlTalk of the Beats (mic , Call, Volume Up and Down buttons) is fully compatible only with iOS devices. For all Droid devices only the mic and Call Button are working, but only if you follow this activation method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=751166
I've went through tones of posts and forums and couldn't find any solution for enabling all Beats ControlTalk features for my GII+. Does anyone of you know a solution/driver/app, which enables ControlTalk for Beats on GII+?
Cheers!
