Recover system first and then buy mobile odin pro in playstore and setting Odin to everoot, otherwise you must go back to stock to ota or just try using Kies via usb and then reroot afterwards if you want...not totally sure as I have the p3113

Try pulling the battery, then put back in, and then power up straight to recovery> volume up/power. Out of my knowledge base for samsung, but has worked for other android devices, (HTC)

[OTA][S-OFF]OTA_Chacha_HTC_Europe_1.54.401.2-1.33.401.1

hey guys,
I just randomly checked for updates from my stock 1.33 EU ROM and it finds me a 1.54 OTA with Android 2.3.5 update.
Since i am using a ClockworkMod Recovery Image as of now, I would need to shift back to Stock Recovery In order to check out this OTA Update..
I googled a lot to find if this update file was ever noticed before, but i did not find any results on any of the forums.. So i think its kinda new
So, anybody running Stock Recovery can update this from a (unrooted?) S-OFF with a superCID chacha device i think..
Correct me if i am wrong..
Or if you want to shift back from CWM to Stock Recovery, check this >>
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1164468
(Credits to Mikevhl and Alex C. for their contributions)
Here is the link to the OTA file >>
http://www.mediafire.com/?111mjddqzda8u2p
Before it gets deleted from the mediafire servers, and if this OTA was worth the find, i would like Alex C. t upload the file to his server for further use of the users here..
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Install Stock Recovery using CWM
>> Download http://www.mediafire.com/?c39i9ubm11ukggn and rename it to PH06IMG.ZIP and place it in sd card root and install via bootloader
{OR}
install a fresh 1.33 ROM using http://alex.swtesting.ro/downloads/....3033H_7.48.35.14_2_release_204385_signed.exe
2.Rename the OTA_Chacha_HTC_blabla.zip file to update.zip and place it on the SD card root folder.
3. Boot into Bootloader menu (Vol DWN+Power) and select recovery using VOL keys and power button to select.
4. Press Vol Up+Power and install update.zip
5. Wait till update completes.
DEVS, pls post in your comments and changes in this update..
I just found out the OTA file, its upto you guys to find out whats in it and i hope it will be of use to you guys in some way..
thanks again
UPDATE :
you can download a CWM backup of 1.54 here:

wiped dalvik cache and made factory reset
but when i try to install it via zip file it aborts after some time with error 7
It says
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip

nope....everything is a little bit smoother, but i think that was also with the 1.52 version....seems that they only fixed some bugs so far
Oh yeah, nice one.. I'll have to test this as it's official, unlike the leaked ones we had. Great job!
As a side note, you won't get S-ON if you have S-OFF'ed via XTC Clip when doing ROM updates. So it's safe

But i made a full wipe, it still doesn't help.

If you still have CWM recovery, then your attempt to ODIN the stock ROM did not work.
What version CWM do you have?
Find the stock ROMs here, but make sure your model is p3100 not P3113 or similar.

It means flash the BOOT file as BOOTLOADER in Odin. Here are the steps I did, in detail.
Make sure you have copied the superuser.zip to your SDcard before you begin.
- Flash the recovery as PDA (I unchecked the autoboot, just to keep everything in control)
- Remove data cable
- Remove battery for a few seconds and put it back
- Go in download mode again, and flash the BOOT file as BOOTLOADER (This time, checked the autoboot option)
- Phone starts in CWM recovery
- Flash the SU
In case you're still having trouble, go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and search for s7262, download the kernel for YOUR COUNTRY and flash it as PDA through Odin. Then follow the above steps.
Don't forget to thank the guy

Actually I think it's the bootloader. Just worked fine the first time.. After second boot I'm getting white screen (same thing that used to come previously when I flashed recovery). Let's see if this gets fixed, otherwise this whole operation would just die.
Lesson here is: Cheaper android phones are crap . I'm using an HTC amaze, and it was one hell of a task to root it! But at least it responded to logic.

Help unbricking my phone please

I was using Liquid Smooth (I think 4.3) and one night my battery died. Ever since then when I try to boot up it hangs at the liqiuid smooth boot screen. I was unable to get into recovery or download mode because my volume up button is broken. I bought a usb jig that has my phone forced into download mode now,and I have odin installed but im not sure what to do. Do I just flash a 4.3 stock rom? Where do i find the correct stock rom to flash? I don't want to pick the wrong one and hardbrick it. Thanks.

He can't get into recovery from a power off state. He will need to reboot onto a touch recovery from the ROM because his volume rocker is not working.

no need for this long procedure. if you have the ota file you can use flashfire to flash it.
Google photos now gives me two years of original photo back up.Before the update i was using high-quality storage option.
