What is your problem,if you have bootloop doesnt mean you need RUU now, post what was your procedure to flash TD ,thats how I wil know what you missed and maybe grlo you out
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
i had trickdroid 3.0.0 installed and i downloaded trickdroid 4.0.0 and flashed it through TWRP... then i flashed boot.img and then erased cache.
now i am in bootloop ...
then i saw that trickdroid author tell to OTA update to 4.0.4 before flashing his 4.0.0 else you will have a bootloop (where i am in)..
flashing my old nandroid DOESNT HELP i am still im bootloop...
thx
Did you wipe everything before you tried to restore your nandroid? Did you also flash the stock recovery? If those don't work you might have to stay on TD v3.0.0.
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
got my phot to boot with flashing nandroid and after nandroid flashing boot.img from TD3.0.0C2 and erasing cache.. strange, that it did not boot by only flashing nandroid..

Hello,
I am having some trouble with my T-mobile Sensation 4G. I was trying to install a Rom and seemed to have failed. At this point it will not boot past the first white screen with the green HTC logo.
I can get it into fastboot and Clorkwork mod recovery. However, I am not really sure what to do.
I have tried superwipe and it fails. Bootloader screen is as follows:

If I need to provide more information just let me know. Any help to get it back up and running would be great. I really appreciate your time and help.
Thank you in advance.
Most likely the rom will not boot on your current firmware. What rom is installed?
Option 1 is to restore a backup since you can access recovery.
Option 2 is to put the correct firmware on your SD using a PC, reinsert and let your phone update.

I don't think any rom is installed. It never got that far.
I first tried to update using this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1542192
However the update failed. After that the phone was just going into a reboot loop when I tried to start it up. I then tried to flash a new rom in the hopes it would fix whatever problem the first failure caused. I was following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1098849
I was able to update the firmware from the linked page on that guide:
Firmware from 3.32.401.x & 3.32.401.10x RUU
I then tried to flash the Android Revolution HD 6.5.2 rom. It failed and when i tried to reboot it just hangs as described above. I tried to use superwipe and it also fails. I am sure at this point it is obvious I am lost.
Option 1 is not an option as I don't have a backup.
Option 2 may be an option, but I apparently don't know what the correct firmware is.....
Thanks again for the help.
I went back into fastboot and then recovery and tried to use superwipe, but that failed.
Option 1 is a no go because I do not have a backup.
Use this firmware instead.. it's worked well for me no matter which ICS rom I've installed..
Firmware from 3.24.401.1 & 3.25.401.101 RUU from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1412618
Don't get it confused with the one you've already tried. Then after you flash that version of the firmware, remove it from sdcard and flash a rom. It's worked for me as it should for you as well.. Hope this helped.. I'm also assuming that you've Super CID your device....
if this helped, slap the thanks button... thanks

So still on stock rom, ie Gingerbread, since 2x flashes have failed?
If so, 3.12 is the correct firmware to get it to boot.

I was not able to boot normally after installing this firmware, but it did allow me to complete the superwipe. That was failing beforehand. Once I was able to wipe the phone I was then able to install a rom. The phone is back up and running now. Thanks again for the help. I appreciate you guys taking the time.

Have you tried reset to the default factory, or just RUU with the right version it will overwrite all. [ROM]Shipped Pyramid ROM Collection
Try removing the memcard so that it won't try to load up the new firmware again.

So you haven't yet flashed a rom - you have s-off, stock rom? If so you just need to flash the correct firmware for the rom.

while entering recovery it boot looped...weird ...it seems like something got corrupted in /recovery partition
try this
extract the boot.img (choose it from the kernel of your liking) from ARHD zip and flash it via fastboot
command
fastboot flash boot boot.img
then reboot and see..if that didnt worked
then probably you need to format all the partitions again and see..
to do that you need to run RUU (you'll lose your data this way)
i assume you are supercid (as you are SOFF)
so get any ICS RUU ...
keep your phone in fastboot and run the RUU from your pc
(it will do a clean install of stock ICS but wont change your SOFF status..so you can install ARHD again)
hopefully this will solve the problem

Oi you have old firmware .i Think it came after running the RUU otherwise It won't be compatible with ics roms.. You need to flash the 3.32 firmware again.. Check the ARHD thread OP for the 3.32 firmware
Also if you already tried the above and still not working
Then flash a ics RUU .. after flashing RUU.. Try to enter the stock recovery (once you enter you need to press all three hard buttons to get options)
If it still bootloops during entering recovery means.. You might have bad blocks in the internal memory.. Which is a hardware issue
Confirm/try the above.. In the mean time I'll try to dig further

Thanks man, glued to this thread!
I have a Desire S which I was trying to return to stock. To do this I flashed the HBoot and then ran the following RUU:
Code:
RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.1_Radio_20.28b.30.0805U_38.03.02.11_M_release_177977_signed
This was successful. In the stock HTC ROM I downloaded all the updates all the way to the latest 2.3.5 with updated Sense.
It now no longer boots. Upon booting it gets stuck at the HTC logo (white background).
Recovery (CWM) is now gone. But I can boot into the bootloader. It is now S-ON.
Code:
SAGA PVT SHIP S-ON RL

Thank you in advance!
If you can get into HBoot, enter that and run the RUU again. Chances are the ROM partition got corrupted and a simple reflash will fix it.
After initial boot, reflash CWM since the RUU returns everything to stock.

Well no ruu for now, but as JavierArends says you can use TrickDroid and BackToBasics Rom. I was having that problem too. No boot, stuck on htc screen. The problems is that ther is no base software 4.0.4+ for that phone. If you want to use your phone againa flash backtobasics, but that rom is Senseless, but works great, if you want Sense you can install TrickDroid this way:
Download trickdroid v2.0.0 , full wipe (user, cache, dalvik) flash Rom, go to bootloader adn flash boot.img and reboot until it works
After that you can download trickdoid v3.0.0 and flash only wiping cache and dalvik
that works for me

If you can enter to bootloader you can run a ruu from there. If you the locked the bootloader the ruu has to work fine. In order to install trick droid you have to unlock boot loader , install recovery and gain root access. I think the only thing you have to flash with fast boot is the boot.img

I have a HTC One S villec s3, and I unlocked it using the official HTCDev method, then I tried to install CWM but I couldn't, then I successfuly installed TWRP, and it worked fine.
I made a backup of the official ROM so good, but after doing factory reset, wiping cache/dalvik I accidentally press power and the phone was powered off. Now when I turn it on I can get into bootloader but I can't enter into TWRP, I tried reinstalling TWRP but I can not get into TWRP, only thing that I see is the logo of TWRP and suddenly restart.

Hi, I went to that thread, and tried to download the rom, it is in dropbox, but teh account has exceeded the allowed traffic, can someone reupload this file to mega or mediafire?=
RUU for BSTAR301 DONT EXIST. YOU NEED BE S-OFF AND CHANGE YOUR CID FOR ANOTHER LIKE ASIAN CID TO USE THAT RUU

my bad.. you are from telcel.. so you have the annoying CID BSTAR301. i found a JB OTA from our CID http://www.shipped-roms.com/downloa...15.20.29_M_release_315588dsq1aqy4avpc8u41.zip but.. i don't know if works.... you can try install some sense based ROM like viper compatible with Moonshine to get S-OFF or you can try install any ROM and try rumrunner to S-OFF. after that you can try fastboot oem overwrite cid HTC__044 or something like that... its HTC Asian CID.. if that not work you can try this

OK... @JavierG123
I already found an existing tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26516911
The only difference is, VilleC2 can't use 11111111. You can change it to HTC__044 (Asia Version)
Then, in this download page : http://androidruu.com/?developer=VilleC2
Download this: RUU_VILLEC2_U_ICS_40_S_hTC_Asia_WWE_2.15.707.101_Radio_16.21.20.02U_16.09.20.11_M2_release_289564_signed.exe
Then you can flash the pure RUU
ps: The Hex Editor on Windows is a paid software, so I'll give a cracked version

Well, here is what I have done so far...
Downloaded the Ruu Asia, downloaded the BSTAR OTA and downloaded Viper also...
Flashed Viper rom and Wrote the Viper boot.img file and phone keeps in bootloop.
So, At this time I opened IR'Key software and after reading phone info I could notice teh CID was changed itself from BSTAR to HTC__01, awesome, I would no believe it. SO I used teh sane software and edited the CID to be the ASIAN one, and it CHANGED !!
great
I then tried to flash the Stock Asian RUU, first I relocked the BOOT.
The RUU started to work and gave an error complaining the MODEL is not compatible
Now I cant enter recovery, and cant unlock bootloader vbecause the unlockFile doesnt work (I think I have to go through all the way to the bootloader unlock process to install the recovery again)
The question is, do I have to also edit the Model ID ? and what is the correct model ID for the ASIAN RUU to be compatible ?
