Hi, I'm running the ViperS 1.3.5 Rom and the one part of Sense that bugs me a lot is the ability to change your ringtone volume from the lock screen. I really like the Sense 4 Lock screen however this feature causes real issues for me.
I have looked everywhere for a fix but I can't seem to find one.
Does anybody know of a solution?

Hi!
How to change the intensity of vibrate feedback (when pressing soft keys and on certain UI interactions)?
Android 2.3.5, Sense 3.0.
Thanks!
I would like to know too, if this is possible in Endymion sense 3.5 rom.
Thank you.
I don't know where is exactly on edymion because I have never used it, but from my experience I think this issue might be implemented on your rom. In case of cyanogen you can find it diving into some UI menus, but it's an option, I mean it's not a typical fuction on AOSP rom.
Yeah, I think that's a feature the ROM developer has to put in. I've only been using lowveld roms and I've never seen it on those but apparently CM has it
Anytime I alter the lock screen on my Inspire 4G, I experience multi touch issues. It's only when using an app like Widgetlocker or altering the HTC_Lockscreen.apk. The issue primarily manifests itself when using the keyboard and typing too fast. Keys will then no longer work until I turn the screen off and then back on but then the problem can be re-triggered by typing too quickly.
I run the stock rooted with no kernel alterations.
I really don't care much for the stock HTC lock screen and would like something else but this even shows itself through other roms that aren't based on a Sense framework.
Please let me know if you have any type of resolution? Perhaps a new kernel for a stock rom could resolve this? I don't know much about kernels but don't need anything special. I just want to resolve this issue make my lock screen more efficient.
ive had that happen too me also i need help to fix it, so it would be cool if someone had the advice to fix this.
hey I flashed ordroid some hours ago....very very nice...
but I have some issues I think, I don't know...
1- the camera...it crashes if I change setting, if I switch to video mode, if I multi-shot....anything I do makes the camera app crash...this was not in the known bugs!
2- force feedback...no vibration on the keyboard and when I touch the screen (scrolling, switching hs ecc)...I don't know if is normal, on the keyboard settings is able vibration....
3- is facebook chat htc widget missing??
Sense 4.0 roms aren't ready yet. All of the issues you listed are known and the best solution right now is to downgrade if it's an issue for you

1. Works fine for me, well video does anyway!
2. It's known that feedback is low but it is on the One S anyway - might be designed that way, who knows
3. Don't think it's in the ROM

thanks, maybe will work better on the next relase...maybe it's my bug...
HI,
I got the XE with ICS official OTA.
Everything was fine, but I got the problem that sometimes when I unlock the lockscreen the Phone starts the Cameramode, even if I don't pull camera into the ring. Does somebody else has the problem?
I made a hardreset(after installing ICS I didn't) but the problem isn't solved. It just happens sometimes, not always...
greatz
no camera from lockscreen
Hi, sorry to boot be able to answer your question, but I thought it prudent to mention I'm having the opposite problem. My camera will not launch from the lockscreen, the shortcut from the dock still works fine (and I've tried replacing it) no idea why it's happening. Using stock camera app, sensation XE, running OTA ICS 4.0.3 and sense 3.6

I am having exactly this problem with my HTC Sensation. I upgraded 2 days ago from O2 release and now from the lock screen the camera will not start when I drag it into the lock ring. I only get the desktop. Every other icon works fine, phone, mail, text, or even a folder icon with items inside.
Anyone know why the camera won't work from the lock screen any more?
Thanks
Az

Very strange, now the camera is working and I've changed nothing. It even launches the camera if you have a password switched on, which is what we want :-D
Happy days with ICS so far, including 'Face Unlocking'.
Az
I just found out why this is... It only seems to happen with face unlock... I reckon it'll have something to do with the fact that the camera app bypasses the security for faster shooting, but either something is wrong with the face unlock coding, the camera is just trying to do 2 things at once, but either way, I'd like to see HTC offer a fix as I like face unlock and Always have really important stuff I have to photograph instantly =P
In all sense roms I notice that after a call sometimes the htc media link initializes and also wifi turns on. Has anyone ever had this issue?

Never experienced this before (though I don't make phone calls that often). Try turning off HTC Gestures in Settings -> Display & Gestures. It could be that the phone's screen is turning back in before you take it away from your face and the action of you moving it away is causing screen contact and the phone is mistaking that for a 3 finger swipe. I know it sounds a bit far fetched, but I've seen weirder things happen.
