Hi!
How to change the intensity of vibrate feedback (when pressing soft keys and on certain UI interactions)?
Android 2.3.5, Sense 3.0.
Thanks!
I would like to know too, if this is possible in Endymion sense 3.5 rom.
Thank you.
I don't know where is exactly on edymion because I have never used it, but from my experience I think this issue might be implemented on your rom. In case of cyanogen you can find it diving into some UI menus, but it's an option, I mean it's not a typical fuction on AOSP rom.
Yeah, I think that's a feature the ROM developer has to put in. I've only been using lowveld roms and I've never seen it on those but apparently CM has it

In the process of buying accessories for my Sensation, I've found a car mount that I really like. The only problem is that the mount covers where the charging port is. During Navigation, I can't have my phone just sucking that juice. I can remedy this by installing the phone upside down, and it would seem to hold just fine like that.
My problem is that Sense does not support 180-degree rotation. Navigation, nor none of the apps, recognize that my phone is turned "upside down". I'm not looking for an orientation locker, as I'm not concerned with that. CyanogenMOD comes with an optional "180-mode" not found in any other ROM.
Is this an extractable apk, or flashable ZIP? I know it will be in the Sensation build of CyanogenMOD, but I'd like to experiment with some of the other ROMs in the mean time.
Any suggestions?
as long as you pick a rom w/o sense 3.0, it will support homescreen rotation...no need to wait for CM7 just for that feature
NOOB ALERT!
I have noticed that on the stock roms that the vibration intensity is very short and crisp. I recently flashed cm7 (Nightly bulid 124) and faux123's kernel - cm7 standard voltage (0.4.1) and the vibration is way too strong for me and often is very sloppy. Is there any way to change how strong the vibrations are and how long they are? (I'm not just talking about messages and email I'm talking about the keyboard and everything)

I was wondering the exact same thing. Does anyone know where the haptic feedback settings are on the stock ROM ? Or is it hardcoded in LG's kernel ?
i've noticed custom roms dont have this option in setting either. for me its too soft and i'd like to increase the haptic feedback. anyone know what's up?
Anytime I alter the lock screen on my Inspire 4G, I experience multi touch issues. It's only when using an app like Widgetlocker or altering the HTC_Lockscreen.apk. The issue primarily manifests itself when using the keyboard and typing too fast. Keys will then no longer work until I turn the screen off and then back on but then the problem can be re-triggered by typing too quickly.
I run the stock rooted with no kernel alterations.
I really don't care much for the stock HTC lock screen and would like something else but this even shows itself through other roms that aren't based on a Sense framework.
Please let me know if you have any type of resolution? Perhaps a new kernel for a stock rom could resolve this? I don't know much about kernels but don't need anything special. I just want to resolve this issue make my lock screen more efficient.
ive had that happen too me also i need help to fix it, so it would be cool if someone had the advice to fix this.
Hi, I'm running the ViperS 1.3.5 Rom and the one part of Sense that bugs me a lot is the ability to change your ringtone volume from the lock screen. I really like the Sense 4 Lock screen however this feature causes real issues for me.
I have looked everywhere for a fix but I can't seem to find one.
Does anybody know of a solution?

sorry this is a "feature" of sense 4. from everything i have researched u cant disable it when the screen is on...
I'm currently running CM11 nighties on my M8.
I know that other phones have had tap/swipe to wake enabled through kernel modifications. I've searched through the forums but haven't found anyone discussing ways to restore this feature that's pretty useful because of the awkward placement of the power button and the size of the phone.
Is there a kernel/xposed module/something that would restore this feature? Something like Bulletproof (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2233665) for the m7?
