Dear all
Recently lost my beloved nokia 5800XM and was forced to upgrade. bought Galaxy S2. had been experimenting with symbian custom firmwares so decided to try my luck with android. installed revolt JB 2.6. have been facing few prob compared to stock 2.3.6 i had before:
1. was experimenting with wondershare mobilego/ moborobo/ mobiledit as pc suites for backing up/ phone mgmt on my win7 laptop. everything was f9. after installing Revolt JB 2.6, moborobo/ mobiledit are working f9 but kies and mobilego are not connecting. mobilego informs connection failed. tried complete uninstall of mobilego and kies. restart/ reg clean/ restart/ reinstall kies/ install all drivers/ reinstall mobilego. for some unknown reason problem persists on both kies and mobilego. kies conn troubleshooter reinstalls all drivers and says ok. but it just keeps on trying to connect. mobilego gives connection failed error. mobiledit and moborobo detect my device f9 and let me install apps etc. am confused. plz help
2. GPS is working f9 when using google maps with wifi. however, Sygic 12.1.3 is unable to lock on GPS. it gets signals for a sec and loses it again. keeps giving msg that signals not sufficient for car navigation. searched on xda and found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1656005, it looks promising but am not sure. plz guide
3. Also tilt to zoom feature is not working. plz guide
4. also advice, i want stable rom so that i can learn and enjoy my android while i learn the tricks to experiment more. am thinking of reverting to stock 4.0.2 firmware although am tempted to install cm10 nightly rom, which forums say is quite stable and above all 4.1.2. expert users plz guide me
this is my first post, so plz accept my slightly long and boring post. will be careful in future
Hi! I just wonder why you are trying so many PC suites at the same time. I just try Moborobo and think it works perfect for my device.
1)The new version of Moborobo works fines with me,I've backup most of my data with Moborobo. Its pretty hard to find and get your head around all the feature of Android, but yea keep your eyes open on these forums. I think there are tutorials for Moborobo that might help to fully utilizing MOborobo. I'm finding new things on it everyday.
2) I'm not fully sure whats wrong with the GPS but for me its the internet provided my my service provide is too slow and it can so the car navigation never really worked
for me..but that thread does look promising.
3) NO idea
4) In terms of rom, I would say download the offical version where there is less twicks by the developers. The official UVLE1 ICS 4.0 rom looks pretty good to me.
I reckon Moborobo and titanium backup is one of the must haves for testing out androids.I'm new to the android system too, hope this helps.

thanks for yr reply. i agree moborobo is best pc suite for android. am exploring titanium backup b/c lots of people say it is good. can u recommend some good tutorial to learn it quickly.
lately i've reflashed my phone with CM10 nightly build http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1794758. it is g8 and stable. i agree that developer tweaked roms are not good for newbies. stability is paramount b/c i don't want to ruin my android experience for now
after flashing this rom, kies and mobilego problem solved. also gps is working f9 now. only tilt to zoom into images is not working
rest all is well, for now at least

I have the HTC HD2 recently released by t-mobile (3/24/10). Everytime I download and try to install a cabinet (.cab) file, I am greeted by the screen that reads (Installation Unsuccessful) Any suggestions for getting this to work? I have tried downloading from different sources.
sounds like ur installing apps that wasnt made for winmo 6.5
try installing BsB onto the device and turning on the unsigned apps button... hope it works Good Luck...
also a lil heads up, when askin a question alway let people know what ur doing what u hav and what u need, Device ?
Rom ?
app trying to use ?
and a bref descript of the problem
Thanks for the all the advice. I'll take that into consideration.
CABS meant for this device
I'm having the same issue. I flashed the ROM to the new T-MO version and worked great. Installed some CABS that I had installed before and suddenly I get this error on any CAB I try to install. Regardless if it is VIA Windows Marketplace, copied to the device by usb, sent over by WMDC, or downloaded directly on the device and saved. No prompt where to install, just pops up with installation failed. And some of these CABS I know for a fact work. It's got to be some kind of security issue I would think, but I'm not getting any prompt or warning.
I've scoured the web the last week and lots of people with this issue, but no solutions.
Suggestions?
HTC HD2 Installation of update
I am guessing you are speaking of the latest rom update put out by TMobile?
If so, go to TMobile here ----> http://support.t-mobile.com/doc/tm54430.xml?
and then follow the instructions as given. I had a problem with my H2 then did this update and all is well.
Good Luck!
Certificates?
That's what I already did! And it was working fine, I was installing CABs, etc. Now nothing will install. I know that I can always do a hard reset, but something caused this problem and I can't keep hard resetting forever. I'm not a newbie here to flashing roms of working with windows mobile either. I did notice today though that under security/certificates there are no certificates now. There were lots of them installed from the factory with the original rom, but none now. I don't know if the rom flash wiped them and didn't reinstall, or something else did. It worked so I never checked after flashing. I suppose I could find someone else with a HD2 and have them send me copies of all there certs.
I'm having the same issue with any cabs im trying to install. Any solutions?

Any help??
US T-Mobile HD2 installation problem
Gosh, i never thought a lot of people would be having installation problems on their T-mobile HD2 like me.
I have the same unit, just had it last June 2010.
And i just couldn't get to install any third party application on it!
but im able to install apps if and only if i downloaded it on Windows Market place using my phone. Any other method aside from the the Windows Market Place in my phone wouldn't do. Like if i downloaded an application, any application, in my pc and transferring it to my phone through Microsoft's active sync or disc drive transfer and when i try installing it, it just wouldn't install?
i couldn't even install .Net Framework 3.5 on it to hoping to be able to use CHT or any other interesting apps requiring the framework. i got the .Net Framework Downloaded it frm here forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=625483 and also here forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591784
i also couldn't even get to install recommended drivers like Chainfire's HD2/Leo 3D Driver Patch. As you can see, i really couldnt install any requirement apps to get the good progs and stuffs =/ and i've downloaded a lot of apps already hoping to see them running on my hd2, but only to be turned down for they couldn't seem to get installed =/
my unit is HTC HD2 from US, originally a T-mobile and has these specifications:
OS version: 5.2.21892 (21892.5.0.89)
Manila version: 2.5.20121412.2
ROM version: 2.13.531.1 (90963) WWE
ROM date: 04/28/10
Radio version: 2.10.50.26
Protocol version: 15.39.50.07U
this is a Leo having a flash size of 1024
i sincerely hope you'd help me diagnose the problems properly =/ Thank you sooo much for the help then masters.
and oh one more thing, having said my phone's specifications, is it ok to try flashing it using this thread and a few ROMS on it? i've been reading carefully these thereads

have you called t-mobile tech support to report the problem???
Hi everyone, this is my first post and I recently bought my first Android device (yes, yes, I'm a 100% noob). BTW, I also did the search (google and xda) for this problem, without results.
This is the story:
- I few weeks ago I bought my new Samsung Galaxy Tab wifi (p1010), with Android 2.2 Froyo, and it is not rooted or flashed with some rom.
- Search on the market for an official version of Skype, but no, at this time there was no one.
- Then, I find one on getjar, works ok, but only audio.
- A few days ago I uninstalled the getjar version an install another one, version 2.0.0.45-signed, from villanrom, announced with video support, but at the moment of accepted a video-call the application always fails and closed.
- After that, I uninstalled it, and wait for a new and better one.
- Here is the problem: I have tried with another versions (villanrom 2.0.0.47sig, xda-Froyo-droidrx, the first one from getjar, and others, even the "official one" 2.0.0.47 from the market) but always I got the same error "Out of space: Skype could not be installed. Free up space and try again"
- I can instal other apps (apk and market) without any problem.
- My Summary is: Program 438MB/1.87GB, Personal data 10.00MB/69.77MB, Internal memory 4.38GB/12.74GB", with NO External SD card.
Please, I need some help to resolve this problem, before doing anything drastic, like an hard-reset
Best regards and thanks
Jerome
[note. sorry for my regular english... ]
Please. I need some expert help with this problem.
Best regards
Jerome
You can try to run Titanium Backup, to see whether there still is some kind of skype installation on your tablet. If Titanium Backup can find something, then try to uninstall/wipe data/force remove app (all in Titanium Backup).
Another thing u could try is to use Root Explorer, and browse to data/app/ and see if there is still some skype in there (com.skype.raider-1.apk?). If there is, delete it. Also go to data/data/ and see if there is still something from skype there (perhaps com.skype.raider?). If there is, delete it.
Finally you could try to clear your dalvik cache. Usually that's done in clockworkmod, but as I'm not sure if you have that on your tablet, check here.
If none of that helps, I would backup some important stuff and then do a factory reset. Or better yet, put a nice new rom on there (either official or unofficial, no idea what's out there for the galaxy tab). At least go to gingerbread (android 2.3.x), or honeycomb (android 3.x) if that's available for your tab.
good luck!
PS; as for skype, i would recommend to use droidrx's mod. He's making great progress and most likely very soon there will be some kind of "final" and bug-free version.
Many many thanks.
My tab it´s not rooted yet (I think if I do that then lose guaranty)... I will try to do a factory reset or firmware update first... Only if that fail, then I will apply the root solution... BTW, wich one it is the better method/app for root a g-tab (with the un-root option included)??
Best regards
Jerome
Just did a 5 minute research, and apparently for some people there is already an official gingerbread update available. I would rather do that then a factory reset at this point. Gingerbread is a much better version of android than you have at the moment.
Rooting your galaxy tab is dead easy apparently, read here.
If you're thinking about installing a custom rom, see the Galaxy tab android development section.
Yep, but the update it's not available for everyone... I got installed the lastest version of Kies (2.0.1.11053_99), and it's shows "Current fw version = Latest = PDA:KB4 / CSC:KB4 (CHO)".. May be because my country (Chile).
SuperOnceClick looks fine, but with this issue
Note:
I have tried unrooting the device and rooting it again and this is not working. so this is to let you know that you will have to reflash the firmware to root the device if you unroot it again using this software and try to root until some one finds a solution

Yea, that means that you can still get your tablet back to the factory state (including root), in case you wanna bring it back for warranty. Which is probably never going to happen anyway.
So my advice would be just to flash a gingerbread 2.3.4 rom, as i've noticed you don't even need to have root to do this. Who knows how long chile will wait with distributing a new android version?
no te preocupes!
EDIT: just be careful with one thing, i've noticed not all customs roms will work on your tablet since you have a wifi only tablet. keep that in mind when looking for a rom and make sure that the rom will be compatible.
Apparently I'm not the only one with this specific problem... It's look like some bad install/uninstall process with the "VillainRom" version on the GTab.
Google search:
villainrom Skype with Video Support for Various Devices... #55
(Sorry, but the system says that I'm too noob to publish external links.. )
Sadly, they have not released a solution yet
Best regards
Jerome
EDIT: Searching a little bit more, find this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=857334
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1156569#15398287
OK, I´m not the first one with this specific problem, but some says even with root they can´t delete skype directory from system.
Jerome
Solution:
Run terminal and type:
"rm_-R_/data/data/ com.skype.raider" _ = space
i failed the oparation a few times until i got it..
After that i'v downloaded Skype again, but this time it installed successfully,
Im very disappointed with Skype team failing to fix the problem and having there paying customers to Root there devices !
Jerome,
I guess you are in the same boat i am.
I went to Chile in June and bought a P1010 at Falabella store. My FW is the same as yours and there's no ROM to upgrade (official or custom).
There's no development for it here. Also the video skype is for the GB not froyo.
The only tweaks i could do was the root (z4root) and the OCLF.
Sorry for this bad news... But at least i loved to visit your country. The Piscosawer, the "CONGRO" fish and the "Cafe con Piernas" 8))

It doesnt look like there is any particular reason why you are not getting a pass through connection on your phone..
If you want to then you can simply reflash the ROM .. after taking a backup of all your apps..
and see if the problem persists

This is the stock US KitKat ROM for The Galaxy Tab 3 7" Tablet. Finally found it after a bunch of hassle online, and figured I'd post it here to make things easier for everyone.
When I Odin'd this ROM, it actually upgraded my tablet, and left all my items installed (not guaranteeing this will work the same for everyone else).
Afterwards, I just Odin'd TWRP to reroot using Chainfire's SuperSU (no other Superuser would work) and called it good.
Caution: if you are using a custom ROM, this may not work without reflashing stock 4.1.2 since the 4.4.2 ROM appears to be an update, rather than a full ROM.
Rooted devices and custom kernels that are otherwise stock should be fine.
The cache, and if possible dalvik-cache should be cleared before flashing. Some of those files can sometimes interfere with upgrades.
It might be necessary to pinpoint apps that are force closing, uninstall and reinstall them. Some apps, particularly paid apps, store their data differently on KitKat, and will automatically fail as a result.
If that fails, it might be necessary to factory reset the device.
The Stock 4.1.2 ROM for the T210R is available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-stock-sm-t210r-4-1-2-jellybean-odin-t2958676
The T210R...XAR file is for the 210R:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2iEgzRTFjrQTmI0ZjRBbWtOajQ&authuser=0
The ITV file is for the T210 (no R)
To download these ROMs, a torrent client is required (such as utorrent).
Anyone who wishes to contribute, please seed if you can after downloading ("Force Starting" the torrent will seed it indefinitely.)

I've seen both devices referenced together quite regularly, implying that they use the same ROM.
http://www.boeboer.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-3-7-sm-t210r-manual-guide-wifi/
And even use the same kernel from what I've read:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2439564
I would take standard precautions, such as having a odin image of your original software available and performing a backup of your current system (if able).
Perhaps someone else has some insight to this question?
edit: Looks like I had my information wrong. Found where I obtained the ROM from, it is for the T210R model, and was not intended for the T210.
There are custom ROMs that have been patched for use on both devices, which is where my confusion came from, but this is an official ROM.
I have gotten my hands on the T210(no R) ROM file, and have update the Links above.
I am not responsible for any failed attempts at flashing to either device.

First, thanks for this. I have the T210R. I tried using this and had the same result, it updated the tablet instead of loading a completely new version. I did however run into a problem...the tablet had many for closes and reboots to a point it was unusable and so I reverted back to my backup. Did you see this? Maybe I had a bad download?

I did not have this problem, but I didn't have much on my Tab either. (Some apps don't play well with KitKat upgrades.)
Torrents have multiple segmented hashchecks to make sure you get an uncorrupted download, but it might still be possible. I'm reasonably sure my file is OK since I've used it (can't speak for the non R file though).
Did you clear your cache, and if possible your dalvik cache? I've read that some of those files interfere with upgrades.
If you can pinpoint the apps that are force closing, uninstall and reinstall them. Some apps, particularly paid apps, store their data differently on KitKat, and will automatically fail as a result.
Other option would be to try a factory reset and see if that fixes it. (I understand not wanting to do that though.)
One more thing, if your ROM isn't stock, or stock rooted (custom kernel should be ok too), you may have to flash 4.2 before the 4.4 ROM will work on the device.
Right guys, here i go, just joined and first question!!!
i have not ever rooted a sm-t210 but it was rooted when i bought it second hand!
i have linux installed on my p.c. and was wondering if there is a way to upgrade to and official KITKAT!
as stated i am having problems because my SM-T210 wifi only! and want to update to kitkat official release!
but was hoping also that there is a way/method to root via LINX and not via windows!!
if that is not possible how do i go about it on windows!! as i can use a friends WINDOWS-P.C. if i must!
ah also my SM-T210 does not have the options to change the function of the USB-function,,,
i.e.
it used to have an option to,, use as a mass storege, media transfer or use with samsung keis,,, or some thing of the sort
but this option has dissapeared! may have been my fault!!!! as i uninstalled some system apps,
now it crashes and reboots whenever i try to turn of USB-DEBUGGING options in DEVELOPER-OPTIONS !!!!

Just to triple check, by the above quote you mean that if my tablet is currently rooted, I should still be fine to flash this update correct? [obviously it would become non-rooted once flashed and I'd have to re-root it as you mentioned you rooted after installing]
Also, how much space does this take up?
thanks

That is correct. I was rooted running the Werewolf custom OC kernel. I still had my tablet upgrade without wiping, and one other user has reported back saying the same. But I can not promise upgrade as opposed to overwrite.
The flash file once extracted, is about 1.4 GB, I don't know sizes beyond that. It does not repartition the tablet however.

The flash file once extracted, is about 1.4 GB, I don't know sizes beyond that. It does not repartition the tablet however.

Awesome, thanks!

Could you upload the T210 ITV file? This torrent is going to take 10 hours
No system file
Well this is awesome, system won't mount and I don't have a backup. Samsung website does NOT have the stock firmware, and attempting to get it for another country just to get this to load so I can flash a ROM leaves me with having to download at 15kbs. I am in the process of selling this to someone for their kid... And there are ZERO seeders for these files. Lovely.
Sorry, m'y post an error

I do know that Heimdall is a multiplatform flashing tool substitute for Odin. Check out

for more info. Hope it helps.

For some (unknown) reason, Odin3 nor JOdin3 doesn't seem to work for flashing my Samsung Galaxy Tab3 device. For that reason I tried Heimdall-Frontend, but to make that work you need to extract the content of a stock ROM first.
Anyways, it still didn't lead to get my device into factory reset yet.
But that's another story on which I still have not yet found the answers needed to get the device successfully back into factory reset.
My guess is that the 'system.img' file, of Android 4.4.2, successfully has been loaded from Heimdall-Frontend, yet by going into reboot right away after Heimdall-Frontend releases the connected device, the download may be deleted.
I read that the cause of that may lie in the fact that Android 4.4.2 is only an update and no full ROM.
Hi everyone.
I rooted my Note Pro 12.2 (wifi) a while back and installed a basic rooted ROM, not CW12.
I honestly don't remember which ROM I flashed. I believe it was just a stock de-bloated ROM, and if it's the one I think it is, in the thread it says that ROM was faulty and dev has stopped for it. I see the kernel version and build in the "about" section under settings but I'm not sure if that number would tell me which ROM it is, or just the ROM and kernal that it was built on top of.
I basically wanted a stock style ROM with the ability to change things as I wanted. I'm still noticing a TON of lag. Scrolling on pages, loading apps, screen lag between touch and actual input of characters when using on screen keyboard, etc etc. I've frozen a bunch of bloatware and other things and it helped a little, but it's still pretty bad.
Audio latency with recording and MIDI apps is very bad, but I know that's improved with lollipop.
Aside from lag, it seems that GPS won't lock on no matter how long Iet it look for a signal (hard to tell if it's the ROM, but my Note 4 has found GPS very easily). Also, my Note 4 (unrooted and stock at this point) is waaaaay smoother and faster than this tablet. I realize we're talking about lollipop vs kitkat, and that the Note 4 version I have is the snapdragon one. But it still seems like performance should be better on this tablet.
So I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a good ROM for me to flash until lollipop comes out for the wifi version of this tablet. I want the stock multi-window functions (4 at a time plus floating windows), so CW12 is not an option. I want to use some of the Samsung apps like s note and Hancom office. I use the s-pen from time to time with the pen apps like write-on-screen.
The "rooted" features I want to access are turning off the camera sound (adding the switch to the settings menu in the camera app, not just replacing the sound file with a dummy file) Changing PPI of apps (xposed module) and full access read/write on micro SD cards and really important is the ability to add any app to the multi-window apps list and force orientation. I've been able to do all this with xposed modules.
Other than that, stock would be fine if it wasn't so laggy. The main reason I want to try another ROM is the lag. On screen keyboard has a lot of lag, but even my Logitech k810 bluetooth keyboard is laggy.
I'm also currently travelling and don't have a PC with me. So I'm hoping I can flash the ROM without ODIN, or perhaps I can use one of the ODIN-for-android type things on my Note 4 to flash a ROM to the Note Pro 12.2. Also I have the stock recovey, and would like suggestions on which recovery to use instead. Again, no computer with me to flash a new recovery. Ido have an OTG cable and USB flash drive so Ican back up my files before flashing the new ROM, as well as a miscro SD card.
Any recommendations for a smooth, fast ROM? Any tips on flashing it without a PC? I know I can copy the ZIP to the tablet and flash it from recovery...but it is the stock recovery...is this going to be sufficient?
THANKS!
The hyperdrive rom by sbreen (in the dev section) works great. Isnt there an internet cafe in the vicinity? Ask them for assistance flashing the beast. I love twrp. Good luck!
I tried to find an easy root apk thingy so you dont need a computer, couldnt find anything (but maybe kinguser or something like it will work)
Link to twrp with explanation

Thanks! TWRP is I think what's on my Note II back home. My tablet is rooted already of course. For the Hyperdrive ROM, one thing I'm a little confused about is if I have to FIRST install a stock ROM and THEN flash the custom ROM. I'm a little confused about why exactly but I see that in the forums from time to time. It's recommended for certain ROMs. I don't know if flashing the stock ROM updates some other firmware/hardware driver type stuff that's needed for the new kernal to work or what.
There might be an internet cafe. I'm flying from Vienna to Lithuania today. Trying to explain to them that I want them to download and install ODIN might be tough knowing only English and Spanish haha.
Sorry for the noob question but is clicking the thumbs-up icon what generates "thanks" or do I do that somewhere else?

If its rooted you can install twrp without computer (see my link) use twrp manager fromthe play store for that
You only have to flash the custom rom
(Make sure you backup on an ext sd or something, then delete everything in twrp, install custom rom, restart and done) I also always backup the launcher settings, if you backup the apps with titanium restoring is very easy afterwards)
Lemme know if this works for you!

I'm already having trouble installing TWRP. I can't do it from the app, as my device isn't listed. I downloaded the zip file of the correct version of TWRP and tried to flash it using the stock recovery. But when I boot into recovery mode, it still just goes to the stock recovery. Then I downloaded and installed ROM manager from the play store and it shows TWRP as being installed, but whenever I boot into recovery I just get the stock recovery.
I'm back home now and I guess I'll just try to do all this with ODIN.
Is there any reason I can't just install the custom ROM using the stock recovery? That's what I did last time.
Ok So I got TWRP installed via ODIN then I used it to clean wipe and flash Hyperdrive ROM but gmail app won't even open, just crashes immediately, and it's one of the main apps I need so...probably gonna look for another ROM...or most likely gonna flash the stock ROM, unroot and sell the tablet and get a Dell Venue 11 Pro. Might wait till the end of July though, the supposed release date for lollipop on this device.
Had the same problem. Install hyperdrive without the gmail app option. Afterwards install itmvia the play store.
And if you want lollipop give cyanogen a try. I love it (but its a personal thing).
Ad make sure to read the Venue reviews, they are not very positive.

I wanted to try lollipop because I use it for music, and latency is much better with lollipop. My Note 4 is running lollipop and I get way better performance from MIDI keyboards and guitar amp modelling. I really like the multi window functions on the stock and hyperdrive ROMs though, 4 at once, floating, etc. I'm sure as soon as lollipop is officially out for this device, someone will release a rooted version.
Thanks for the tip on gmail, fortunately I read it before getting too deep and just reflashed without gmail it and then installed the gmail app as you suggested and it does work. There still seems to be a bit of delay when using the on screen keyboard, not as fast as I had hoped. But it's up and running.
I was considering the Dell after trying a bunch of different audio and video editing apps for android and realizing that I just need full photoshop, premiere, and Reaper with all my VST plugins, so I need windows. Perhaps Surface Pro is a better choice but I like the Venue's chassis better, fanless, rounded corners. Also new tablets might be coming out with Windows 10 so another reason to wait...
My laptop is great but it's really big and I like a touch interface for on screen mixers and instruments. So I figured a tablet PC might work best for me. But the problem is GUI scaling. with the Windows legacy apps like Premiere and Photoshop, the buttons and menus don't scale, and on an 11" 1080 display they are quite small.
Just wait for win 10 and while waiting fine tune your 12" beast did you try system tuner pro already? You should be able to get less latency from that.
(And did someone mention "buy a Mac" already?
I am surprised, because after testing dozen ROMs I found stock ROM fastest one. Just root and debloat it.
Not so any lag or problems, but with custom ROMS I had a lot of problems.

Indeed, cyanogen requires a lot of tuning (but its what I like about Android, I am more tinkering with it than actually using it I believe

I checked out system tuner pro (didn't buy it yet just read the description) What exactly would I adjust to get lower audio latency? Just clock the CPU higher? OR does it have audio-specific settings not mentioned in the description?
Hold yer horses

Looks like Samsung official lollipop (I read that it has way better latency) is finally coming to your tablet.

WHAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?!!? I've been checking sammobile EVERY day for the lost couple weeks waiting for this! OMG OMG I'm hoping I'll be able to use the Samsung Audio stuff with this, their DAW and amplitube and all that...plus I'll get Hancom office back...Thanks for the heads-up. I'm glad I've been using CM12.1 though So I can compare the experience.
Looking forward to the rooted version of stock lollipop making its way to xda as well! Now... to figure out the best way to back up my current installation...
