Hey guys as you already now we are going to an nightly of cm9 (because of our great devs arco68,ivendor and dont forget the people who helped us during the hard time , oisis grabber28,texten and many more, sorry if I forgot somebody)
back to thema...
Well of course you saw galaxy s plus settings in ics settings (thx to ivendor)
But I and many more miss a very good feature called Tvout...
So I wanted to start this thread !
----Dev area---
+First we need to search all libs needed, so we can try to get it working via terminal emulator command..
- I think:
from kqb
/system/bin
tvoutserver
/system/etc
vold.conf
/system/lib
lib_tvoutengine.so
libtvout.so
libtvout_jni.so
libtvoutservice.so
+Than invendor could integrate this option in settings like he made it with calibration and bln!

There has been several threads about this from about a year ago. Samsung swapped something with the output of video and audio. If i recall correctly there are several cables from nokia(?) who did work, and with a bit of soldering 'normal' cables can work as well. Just google/xda search it.

Dear all,
I found this thread really important because I found the TV out option a fantastic possibility to use our 9001.
Just to contribute... I found this link:
https://github.com/skywalker01/vendor_samsung_galaxysplus/tree/master/proprietary/lib
In it there are all the libs... maybe they can be useful to add this functionality in all the custum roms.
Bye and good work

Finally I found it on internet, after searching a lot on XDA and on google. Uploaded to google drive, so that other users can download and use it easily.

Yes, I have tested it on my GT-N7000 with KingDroid 2.0 ROM. It's working perfectly. Please post your result in reply.
(I didn't find the user who uploaded it on 4shared server, I should have given him the credit anyways.)

cm9...cant install this app...
does it need Samsung framework???
tried normal install = nochance
tried change name and install = no chance
tried to copy with root explorer to /system/app+reboot = no chance
tried to rename+copy with root explorer to /system/app = no chance
...is the rom in which it works for you a stock rom???
It may not work on CM
CM9 is completely different framework. Without even testing it, (though you tested already) I am sure and I can say it won't work on CM9 or similar ROMs. More experienced developers can tell you the exact reasons but for now I just can say it should work on all other custom roms other than CM9.

It is same. Actually I have KingDroind 2.0 with S3 addon which does not have SNote app. Few other custom roms also do not have the SNote app which comes with premium stock ICS rom. So this is for all users who didn't get it preinstalled.
This is extracted from the official firmware.
Is this really the premium SUITE? In the video I saw there were other features like charting that I do not see in the S-Memo app.
What is up with that?

But as I'm on ParanoidAndroid v.2, which is CM9, no joy anyway.

I have not tested it on GB, though its a simple guess that it won't work. It's based on ICS.
Hello guys.I've been switching roms a lot and now I'm currently using stock GB.However I think of moving to ICS again by flashing Arco's CM9.Still I want an as stock as possible experience on my phone and that's why I'd like to know if porting sms, contacts and dialer is possible( I do know that they REQUIRE touchwiz framework).Thank you.

Hey, I know you didn't know but we already had this idea- it's called ProjectStock4.0, a rom-project features a lot of TW stuff, using tw framework, etc.
don't think it's quite simple, Juhan Jufri, sgoo and my little self are working over months to make this possible- to make a inofficial "samsung"like ICS update for our I9001.
I already made some Alpha's. currently Alpha3 is a dismiss, it seems that I broke some TW signatures incorrect.
please, i would appreciate you waitig a little time longer for our awesome rom. If you want to join our team if you have a bit of know how, I would recommend you to not hesistate contacting me. If you don't have the knowledge, you can still be a tester.
Porting and breaking the MMS and Contacts.apk signatures are the most difficult things in this project. I don't even know if it's possible... Anyway, I'm trying and trying and trying over months and I will not stop
Thank you,

Hi guys,
I was receveing many PMs about this app so i decided to make a thread so everyone can see and use this app. You can use this app on any gingerbread based roms ( like cm based and stock based ) and on any ICS or Jellybean based rom too.
This is the app that all of us lost when we install our first rom, and many people miss this app, so now you can use it on ur favorite rom, it's pretty light and i didnt face any lagg with it. This app only works as a battery saver and not as a task manager like some other similar apps.
Download the attachment and just install it as normal apk. Enjoy it

Most of majdinj's guide are just repost from other devs throughout XDA without even giving credit to all the originals. I hope I am wrong, I see no single guide that is completely original from him. With what we know right now..No, not a chance. But arroyo (if I'm not mistaken) mentioned there were some cases where people without gyroscope emulated it using accelometer and magnetic sensor (we do have both of those) so there could be a chance for photosphere to work IF someone from here could make a kernel for for our device which can emulate gyroscope.

Actually, gyroscope is physical feature and couldn't be implemented in kernel. (I asked some devs)
But we dont know if someone could modify kernel to emulate gyroscope. Maybe someone should give it a try.

It is supposed to get a 360 degree photo, like...everything that are around you (or the phone). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvYTUKgyLHU

It takes (almost) 360 degree and more of a place you want. I find it nice to have but really hard to use, the result isn't really as I expected, but I'm probably doing it wrong though.

I got info from galaxy w thread about photosphere working on huawei ascend g300 that dont have gyroscope in its hardware.

last night i found on android advice this news Guide to Install Google Photosphere Camera App in Non-Nexus Devices – Download APK . I dl the app and tried it first on a huawei g300 runnung a cm10.1 custom rom like arco68. surprise : it worked. so hopeful i tried on build 6 but i could not install it. As the huawei is a lowend phone (not superior to the w) and as both are using cm10.1 rom I was wondering why this app cant be installed in our device. I repeat i do not think it s in the hardware

i doubt that g300 has a giroscope. it has no front camera either. as i said i do not think its in the hardware. as i wrote i could not install the app and not having it working. it caused the phone to freeze and i had to reinstall the rom. so i was wondering whether people more expert than me might look inside this app because when i unzipped it it was full of files.

That Huawei is running on a different hardware so the libs for it (the software part) are also different. Photosphere it's a software feature, that's true. But the hardware needs to support it too.
Nonetheless, you can try it in Alpha 7 as well. Maybe kernel 3.0 supports it but kernel 3.4 does not.

I'll try . I can confirm that G300 has not gyroscope. Meanwhile i have discovered on the other forum that the feature was already present on the 10.1 cm rom and it was called panorama,.I do not know the difference between panorama and photosphere but for sure i know i can take panoramic pictures on g300 without gyroscope. I posted this news as ithink it could be nice to implement this feature on the w as well. And as it was done on the G300 I think it could be done on the w as well. That was all I wanted to inform
