Polaris office that come bundled with the stock ROM seems more than capable of handling majority of files. Plus it has cloud storage as well..

I use Kingsoft and am quite happy with that.

best PDF reader for x10?

Anyone know a good PDF reader that works? or can get adobe 9.0 PDR reader works for android?
Adobe have release an android version of it which is free i think, but my market doesn't seem to have it.
I got .apk from somewhere but it won't install.
There is a pdf reader call Beamviewer which cost 3.99. I am thinking to buy it if i don't see anymore alternative.
Anyone want to show me the light?

Hi - I've used PDF Viewer which I got off the market - seems to work ok - but zooming is a bit slow on very large PDF's... I will open one that the standard "office" software complained was too large...!...

That is the same version or lower i am using. It just replaced mine. Still the same problem. Some will say "cannot load image" and some will "freeze"
Thank you for the help.
I think i will just wait until 2.1 come out and install adobe reader 9.0.
I am using Repligo. It can resume where I left off and supports readability mode. So, I am happy.

[Q] exchange mail attachments won't download

All I see is little android guy with paperclip.
Why is it that so many things that should work out of the box on this phone requires a forum post? Maybe I'm just slow today.
Did you install the free office viewer? Search captivate in the market.

Quickoffice for Captivate.
I tried that.
But thanks for your post I gave it another go, and now, I have found my issue: .... the email attachment I used for my experiment was a PPTX and it doesn't recognize it ... only PPT
I re-did the experiment with a PPT attachment and it is fine.

You can download the free (read-only) version of Documents To Go app. This one supports PPTX. The QuickOffice app leaves a lot to be desired by it gives you capability to edit office docs as well as PDF viewing for free. So I had both on my phone.

Use EzPdf as a note-taking app on the Note

As an alternative to S-memo, ezpdf could be nice because it directly saves in pdf format, which is more practical to share or print.
Unfortunately, so far, ezpdf cannot create a new blank file.
So, I made an empty notebook in openoffice and tried to use it with ezpdf. Works well
Now I am attaching the file here for you to try. If you like ezpdf for making notes, don't forget asking the developers of this excellent pdf reader to include a new file command and enhance the annotation tools which are already quite good.

S-memo can also export memos to pdf... great feature, was playing around with it today. Not particularly useful however if you're after an alternative...

Funny, when I went to the market and tried to get S-memo I could not download it because it was not compatible with my GT-N7000.

best pdf reader in market

So i want to know what is the best pdf reader in market. One feature I really want is one available on the i pad. This feature is where you can make a 3 by 3 matrix for a total of 9 pages. The reason I want this i have college textbooks on my kfire and when I want to locate something fast I can scroll 9 pages at a time instead of one. Anyone know of such an app?
I use EzPDF Reader, and its really cool because if you click on 'RECENT' it allows you to see all your documents like in iBooks, then open a specific document and click on Thumbnail view,
Hope it helps,

What is the best PDF Magazine Viewer App for Xoom

I have lately been looking at a lot of magazines in PDF format on my tablet. I use the regular adobe reader app and also my quick office app to view them sometimes, However I'm looking for a app that is more Organized. By organized i mean, I want all my pdf magazine files to be within the app and im able to actually to select it from there, maybe with a Thumbnail preview of the Magazine. I currently have to go to file viewer, find that magazine i want to read and then click on it and tell my device which app to open it with. Is there any app that will display my PDF files in an organized fashion?

I tried perfect viewer and ther is a whole lot of Lag. Is there a certain way to do the settings for it not to lag. When i use adobe and quick i get no lag at all. However i dont get the book shelf effect with those apps.
Thanx to all who have helped me.
perfect viewer always rescans whenever you restart it and takes 20-30 secoonds unless you uncheck rescan on startup in options.I use this mostly for reading comics and bizarre mag which is in pdf.Repligo reader is also another good option.
