Use ps3 controller without root on tablet and no dock or cords - Asus Transformer TF700

I would like to say that I take no credit for any of this except typing out these directions.
These are instructions to use a controller with at least the two emulators I have tested this on which are supergnes and mupen64 plus ae.
Hardware you will need :
Computer with usb connection
Blue tooth controller ( I'm using ps3 controller)
Android phone ( rooted) I'm using a inspire 4G with ics rom.
Android tablet ( does not have to be rooted) I'm using a asus infinity stock with jb.
I recommend buying the programs if for nothing else but to show support
Software you will need :
An2an by locnet ( I have paid version not sure if it makes a difference)
Sixaxis by dancing pixel studios ( have paid version not sure if it makes a difference)
Sixaxis by dancing pixel studios for pc ( link is inside of the app description in the market)
Emulator that accepts keyboard input.
1) download An2an and Sixaxis from market and install on phone
2) download An2an and install on tablet
3) download Sixaxis to computer from Internet and install.
4) turn on wifi and blue tooth on tablet and phone.
A) access Sixaxis on phone
* step one : tap "gamepad settings"
> tap "enable gamepad " (uncheck box)
> tap " keyboard emulation"
> tap " default input method " and set to android keyboard ( or keyboard of your choice)
> tap " bypass IME ", ( uncheck box)
* step three : start Sixaxis
B) access An2an on phone
* step one : tap menu and access settings
> tap " connection mode ", tap wifi
> tap " text input mode ", ( uncheck box)
C) access An2an on tablet
* step one : tap # 4 optional settings
> tap " connection mode ", tap wifi
> tap " remote address 1 " enter wifi address of phone ( setting -- > about phone - - > status., on phone)
> tap #2 and select An2an receiver
D) have An2an accessed on tablet and phone.
* step one : tap menu on phone and "start transmit"
* step two : tap menu on tablet and tap" setup receiver"
* step three : on tablet tap #3 and tap " connect "
* step four: on phone tap menu and tap "input method" select Sixaxis
Note : phone must be on An2an main screen while playing not sure how it will effect battery life (probably will drain quite a bit) . I recommend setting phone screen to stay on while charging and plug it in.
Now just start game and play
This is my first intrusion manual so be nice if you have any questions feel free to ask but I can't promise I will have any answers.
Last
To set up Sixaxis
* step one : download Sixaxis controller bt changer from Internet and install. The link is in the app description on the market.
* step two : connect controller to pc and start Sixaxis program. Change code to your phones bt code. The bt code is found in settings - - > about phone - - > status remember bt must be on
Unplug and it's set.
Thank you for reading.

[APP] [HACK] Wii remote for emulators on Nexus (SimpleWiiRemote)

Initially i downloaded Wiimote off the market and found that i could not connect my controller without the hassle of a passkey or pin. Well they offer 0000 or 1234 as options for the standard pass and those did not work. After a few minutes i downloaded a second one to see if it had an option to bypass it and sure enough it did. It's called "SimpleWiiController" and it's FREEEEEE! So i installed that and turned on my bluetooth. When you open the application it gives and option to enable it, select input, and connect. Well ENABLE, Select input to remote, and as you ENABLE connect hold 1&2 on remote or red button in battery door. Once connected you will see success or you will see test input received signals for each button you press. Needless to say i was excited because the virtual keyboard annoys me. So i started snesoid and started playing mario.
For best results:
-ENABLE "USE INPUT METHOD" in snesoid. Close to bottom of screen.
-disable virtual keyboard (enabling fullscreen)
-map keys (key mapping)
-turn remote in desired direction
My Setup:
- Up = up
- Down = down
- left = left
- right = right
- select = minus
- Start = plus
- A = 2
- X (essentially B button on snes) = 1 (speedrun setup just like controller)
- B (spin) = A
If i had a camera i'd post a youtube video or something. but i do not . If any help is needed using these two pairings i'd be glad to help. But as far as NES and PSX i have no idea.
im waiting until we can pair out PS3 controllers to our Nexus Ones via bluetooth
Yea i'd try my roommates but if i messed anything up in it i'd be out $50.

How to connect to Freedom Pro Bluetooth folding keyboard

Here's a step-by-step to get your Freedom Pro Bluetooth folding keyboard
working with your G2x. It doesn't matter if your phone is rooted or not.
1) Download the android driver. Here is a direct link to
ProKeyboardSettings.apk
http://freedom.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=downloadfile&downloaditemid=135
2) Make sure Bluetooth is on.
A) Settings=>Wireless & networks and check Bluetooth.
3) Install the driver (here's what I did).
A) Settings=>Applications and check Unknown Sources if not already
checked.
B) Navigate via a File manager to the .apk, choose it, and select open
with app manager.
C) Install as you would any other app.
4) Un-pair any other keyboards you have tried (see usage note E far below).
A) Navigate to Settings=>Wireless & networks=>Bluetooth Settings.
B) Long-press any keyboards in your Bluetooth device list
and Unpair them.
5) Pairing (you only need to pair the Freedom Pro once).
A) Switch the Freedom Pro Keyboard protocol to SPP. HID is not supported.
B) Turn the keyboard on.
C) Navigate to Settings=>Wireless & networks=>Bluetooth Settings
D) Depress the recessed pairing button on the Freedom Pro for 5 seconds
and release. The blue status light will be blinking.
E) If the "Freedom Pro Keyboard" does not appear on the G2x in the
Bluetooth device list, press Scan for devices.
F) Press the "Freedom Pro Keyboard" selection and you will be prompted
for a pairing PIN. Enter 0000 (four zeroes) on the G2x using the
on-screen keyboard.
G) If everything went ok, the device on the G2x will show that the
Freedom Pro Keyboard is "Paired but not connected". The status light
will stop blinking. This is normal. We will connect to it using the
driver we just installed, and not this Bluetooth control panel.
6) Connecting to and activating the keyboard (you do this each time you
want to use it).
A) Navigate to Settings=>Language & keyboard.
B) Check the Freedom Pro Keyboard checkbox if not aleady checked.
C) Settings=>Language & keyboard=>Freedom Pro Keyboard settings
(right below the check box).
D) If you see Disconnect in the G2x's list of controls, you're already
connected. Otherwise, press Connect. In a few moments, you will see
the status change, and the control will rename itself to "Disconnect".
NOTE: You may get prompted for another pairing PIN if for some reason
that has been lost. Enter 0000 as you did above using the
on-screen keyboard.
E) Navigate to Settings=>Language & keyboard=>Input method
F) Choose Freedom Pro Keyboard from the list.
You're all done. Optionally, you can return to
Settings=>Language & keyboard=>Freedom Pro Keyboard settings and
choose "Type here to test your keyboard".
To quit using the Freedom Pro and revert an on-screen Keyboard.
A) Navigate to Settings=>Language & keyboard=>Input method
B) Choose Android keyboard (or Swype).
C) Uncheck Freedom Pro Keyboard in the control list to shut off the
driver.
D) Turn your Freedom Pro Keyboard switch off.
Optional: Settings=>Wireless & networks and uncheck Bluetooth to save
your battery.
Usage NOTES:
A) The Freedom Pro Keyboard will time out after a period of inactivity.
It's 5 minutes or so. If this happens, go back to
Settings=>Language & keyboard=>Freedom Pro Keyboard settings and
choose Connect. For some reason Auto Connect doesn't keep the
keyboard connected as you would expect.
B) It is important that you do not change your input Keyboard to Freedom
Pro from on-screen before you have successfully connected to it. The
reason is, it may have accidentally forgotten about the keyboard, and
it will prompt you for a pairing PIN. You'll have no way to enter it
from the G2x if you've already selected the Freedom Pro for input.
C) If you fail to Uncheck the Freedom Pro Keyboard in Language &
keyboard before you shut off Bluetooth, the Driver will fall into a
writhing fit of Force Quits. So, shutdown the keyboard as shown above
to avoid unpleasant side affects.
D) If you need to force a re-pairing for some reason, navigate to
Settings=>Wireless & networks=>Bluetooth Settings.
Long-press Freedom Pro Keyboard and choose Unpair.
Then you can pair again.
E) If you have other keyboards (I have lots of them) and you've tried to
pair them, you've noticed they all say "Paired but not connected" and
they don't work. The Freedom Pro Driver gets confused with multiple
paired keyboards in the list and will complain that it only works
with the Freedom Pro Keyboard. Just unpair the others so that the
Freedom Pro is the only paired keyboard in the list.
F) Shortcuts on your Home screen can make managing your keyboard
settings quicker.

How-To: Fix unrecognized controller input in Half Life 2 (inability to select weapons

Hey everybody,
i hope this is the right forum to post this. I was dying to play Half Life 2 on my Shield Tablet, but i was not able to change my weapons in game, and also the i couldn't use the Playstation controller in the Options or Controller menu. I know that this is a problem for everybody, who tries to play it with a PS4 (and i think also PS3) controller.
But i've finally found a workaround and after enjoying Half Life 2 for a few days now, i wanted to share it^^.
First off i don't remember all options i enabled/disabled, but i'll list those that i think i did something too. If i find out how, i might just share my app's profile. These are a few steps right here, but only because i went into detail a little, in order to make it as easy as possible to follow.
1. Get Gamekeyboard+
2. Go to "Settings" in the app
3. Look for "Input Device" subcategory -> "Use Advance Input" - check that
4. Below is the "Operation Mode" subcategory -> "Joystick Mode" - check that too
5. Go into "Internal Options" at the bottom of the settings screen
6. "Find 8-way D-Pad" - check that
7. Find "Use Analog" - check that
7. Go back into the apps initial screen - press "Start"
8. Start Sixaxis Controller to connect your PS3 or PS4 gamepad (doesn't matter if you do this before you start GameKeyboard, or after)
And now, better press the volume-up key on your device, which by default should bring up GameKeyboard's onscreen buttons, which emulate physical input. Do they appear? If yes, good. You can turn them off, by pressing volume-up again.
Now open Half Life 2 and enjoy full support of your controller!
So as i take it, Half Life 2 does a better job at recognizing this gamepad, which is actually just a soft emulation, but since you can use GameKeyboard's buttons with a physical controller as well, even if they are not on screen, GameKeyboard in this case serves as the missing link to make this 100% compatible with Playstation controllers.
I hope this will help a lot of people out, who were just as bummed by the fact, that they could not change weapons in the game, let alone access the Options/Controller menu (or not be able to navigate in them, to be precise).
Thank bro I am about to take a long road trip this weekend and I hope this works so I can play and beat half life to on the way!:laugh:

unable to reliably verify your location - can't watch video with wwe network app

Hello,
I always get the error code "unable to reliably verify your location" on the wwe network app when I try to watch a video. With my Galaxy S3 (WWE App), Amazon Fire TV Stick (WWE App) and with Internet Explorer (website) on Windows 10 everything works fine.
I have already contacted Samsung and WWE. WWE says I should talk with the phone manufacturer and Samsung says I should talk to the app developer.
For Android prior version 6 WWE sent me the following solution:
Please follow the steps below for Android Troubleshooting:
Force Stop and Restart
1. Navigate to your home screen.
2. Tap on the Menu key.
3. Tap on Settings
4. Tap on Applications
5. Tap on Manage Applications
6. Tap on the application to close.
7. Tap on Force stop
8. Tap the Home key to return to your home screen.
9. Restart the device.
Enable Location Settings
1. Tap on device Settings icon
2. Tap on Location access
3. Make sure all location services are checked or enabled
4. Tap the Back icon
5. Tap on Developer Options
6. If Developer Options is not visible, do the following to enable
7. Tap on About phone or About tablet
8. Tap on Build Number seven times to unlock 9. Developer Options
10. Tap the Back key
11. Tap on Developer Options
12. Make sure the toggle in the upper right is set to On
13. Make sure the option to Allow mock locations is unchecked
14. Tap the Back icon
15. Tap on Apps
16. Tap on the WWE App application
17. Tap on Force stop
18. Relaunch App and Try to Watch
However this doesn't function with Android 6.0.1 and the S7 / S7 edge because number "13. Make sure the option to Allow mock locations is unchecked" isn't available anymore on the S7.
Has anyone found a solution?
Thank you very much

[FRP] ZTE Majesty Pro Z798BL FRP Bypass

[FRP] ZTE Majesty Pro Z798BL FRP Bypass
(Sorry for the poor write up, it's basically notes from when I did this model quickly. If I get free time I will clean these steps up some so they are more clear and also get ahold of the handset and post additional methods/steps.)
There are multiple ways to do this bypass - here are just a few i came across freestyling. I'll document the others when i get time to lock up one of these phones again (it's a clients so dont have long with it)
1. talkback settings - This was already enabled for me and the chick that did it said she pressed home 3 times quick like on a iPhone. Not sure if that worked or not (i think shes mistaken). I didn't have time to go back and check. The manual and other info out there says to place two fingers on the screen and wait xx amount of seconds. Then talkback would be enabled. Well I have had this handset a handful of times since before this tutorial and i could NEVER get it into Accessibility.. Talkback enabled .. anything. So if someone knows the first step for sure then please post and i'll edit step.
2. help / about. search voice, click on subscribe out pops u to youtube
hit share and a: goto bluetooth and select device / pair mouthpiece or b: goto gmail and enter a email address hotmail or yahoo
3a: turn device off then back on and click till it beeps, say ok google next - enter search string settings hit enter.. goto the 3 lines on the left for settings, click settings and enable in apps boxes, also you could enable the bluetooth settings too but the most importabt thing here is the cards settings. enable these, next search for stock android and launch it. open settings and enable unknown sources, next open google chrome from the apps, search for sidebar apk, install next add these apps (i add all of them incase i need to get back somewhere.. not all are needed though) I add chrome, google, file manager, settings and stock android. next go back to settings then to apps and disable setup wizard and google account manager
3b: goto 3 dots - ? i forget this one so ignore until i remember. lol
3c: goto dialer
4. download dpc test manager 4.0.5 ? run this select device manager hit next then open, lastly goto developer settings oem unlock and usb debugging. goto backup/reset and reset phone. done
3d: (haven't finished) you need to put the phone into "Engineering Mode" first, by dialling *ZTE*OPENEM# (*983*673636#) -- this action will be confirmed by a quick pop-up. To close this mode, dial *ZTE*CLOSEEM# (*983*2567336#) -- this then prompts whether you want to do a Factory Reset, which you do not have to do (you can simply Back away from this screen).
(dont close mode)
go back to dialer and type *983*87274# USBSI USB Switch Test
enable mdm(modem)
-goto cmd, type adb shell content insert --uri content://settings/secure --bind name:s:user_setup_complete --bind value:s:1 (don't remember the outcome)
reboot?
3e: Open uni android tools (if you've got it) and navigate to > UNTESTED
phonecapone
It was very simple for me. For my Z798BL majesty pro i just held down two fingers on open screen till AccessibilityMode came on then swiped my finger from top left down to bottom right(an L shape) across the screen. That opened a menu so I tapped on TalkBack Options (to disable the TalkBack after the TalkBackOptions opened I held down the volume up and volume down Keys till it was disabled) then I scroll down to Help&Feedback clicked on Switch Access Mode question then scroll down to & tapped on the blue words "Turning on Bluetooth" then scroll all the way down to the bottom of that screen to "WasThisArticleHelpful" Yes or No? Tapped on NO, then I typed in anything in the box highlighted it and click on Assist that took me to the Google app then I typed in Chrome because it wouldn't let me download anything from the Google app so I went to the Chrome app then typed in "Test DPC 5.0.4 apk" then I downloaded the Test DCP APK then follow the instructions to install it including update phone's permissions to install unknown source. Clicked on setup new Divice Owner and followed those options til I was done(think just one or two more screens to click on "yes or continue" wasn't hard to figure out from there) when I was done with all that I tapped Back to the Google app typed in Settings clicked on phone settings scroll down to Backup&Reset clicked on reset device then erase everything then turned off my phone and restarted it. And that was it!
