Control your xbox 360 with your g2x??? - T-Mobile LG G2x

looks like it is only going to be available for jellybean roms/phones?
idk yet since microsoft has yet to release the app for android. either way, its gonna be cool :fingers-crossed:

Smartphones only (4.x)

The 4.x means ICS or above. Though with the ICS kernel source out we'll be getting JB soon anyway. Very glad to see this is coming to Android though; I'd figured it would be Windows Phone exclusive.

Zing!
But I was checking it out on my Xbox and it said the app would be ready Friday.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app

And here it is!
Xbox SmartGlass
It is working on my G2x with Owain's "Domination" ICS, build 77.
I was able to use it as a controller to navigate the dashboard, but didn't try it with any sort of games or anything.
The app also appears to do everything the My Xbox LIVE app does, so that app is basically useless now.
It did take a little while for the first connection, and the Xbox has to be on. It won't do Wake on LAN or anything, as far as I can tell. You'll have to make sure SmartGlass devices are enabled in your Xbox options, but it should be on by default with the new Xbox update from a while ago.

Wiimote app

Has anyone got the wiimote to connect with their infuse? I would really like to use it with n64oid but it just wont work! Any ideas??
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
not compatable with the samsung bluetooth stack, if you want to downgrade to bt2.1 it might work but i ont really know how to do that. better off waiting for cm7
What wiimote? The Nintendo wii remote? You are kidding right?

what's there to kid about. many phones can connect to the wii mote. search the market. there are a few app that accomplish syncing a wiimote to android. unfortunately the wii mote is not compatible with the Samsung bt3.0 stack. cm7 is bt2.1 and fixes that problem.

No joke...thanks for responding before doing a basic Google or market search...its working on my atrix but the infuse has a much better screen and HDMI mirror function

Ok sorry I didn't know you 2 are kids, because I can't see adult using this on a smartphone.

umm wii mote + hdmi+ smartphone + sega emulator = portable entertainment and a way to make friends envious. it is a common request actually and its great for travel and parties (my friends are geeks-hence me frequently visiting a cell phone forum) and it is great especially if you have kids or a nephew (I have 2 nephews)
This sounds awesome. Any other non-conventional devices connect to the phone?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA Premium App
well the wii mote doesn't work on the infuse(works on most other androids) , but you can use a standard mouse and keyboard to game and navigate the ui. there are some game controlers that work but I can't remember which ones. search the sgs sections if you are interested.
Awesome, keyboard/mouse would come in handy considering these come with HDMI adapters, tomorrow will be a fun day. Lol

Anyone know of a way to change the Bluetooth stack manually because I had it working on cm7 captivate........
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA App
CM7 uses "googles bluetooth stack which is why it works. This might point someone in the right direction as I have no idea on how to change it.
On all non AOSP kernels the "Bluez" Stack has to be cooked into it. It's tougher than..., well I don't want to mention it.... and easier done with CM which is based off of AOSP.
Same with Sense roms as well, which is why I had such a hard time bouncing between AOSP and sense roms when I had my N1.....
Plus with our HDMI output, wouldn't it be just as easy to use the onscreen buttons on the phone even though there will be an overlay on the main screen...?
Well I got it to connect to my Infuse (and Touchpad). All the keystrokes are detected. Only problem is that they don't translate in N64oid or Tiger Snes--as if they aren't working.
Anybody find a workaround?

Most emus with external controller support have the option to disable the controller overlay. Doesn't do you any good to not have the overlay without external input though, but I have tested this via HDMI output on the *-oid emus
havent tried wii mote, but i have successfully connected a ps3 controller & used it with psx4droid & snesoid

Wiimote

Wiimote not supported man!! Anyone got it working with infuse?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using XDA Premium App
the problem is with the bluetooth stack, im not sur ehow but i know it can be downgraded to bt 2.1, that was an experimental feature in designgears cognition rom a long time ago, he went back and forth with it a couple times but said there were problems. that's not to say gtg or razor or h8trift or mikey couldnt figure it out but i dont see anyone showing interest in that on a samsung base rom. you might have to wait for the infuse to get an aosp rom, donate to a kernel dev like netarchy of razor who may have the ability to make an aosp compatable kernel for cm7.
I see OK is there anything than wiimote work with infuse?

Grid 10

has anyone tried to convert the Grid 10 launcher to work with tablets/phones? I think it would be something new and fun to try.

+1 looks awesome. If I'm not mistaken though that's the playbook, probably wont ever be able to port though. While the playbook can run android apps, it in a virtual machine. Much like running windows in a box on Ubuntu. I hope I'm wrong though. I would love to run that.

That's not the playbook. Grid 10 was advertised as a new tablet "based on android" the fact they said based on android makes me wonder how much is android and how much isn't... It may be more than just a launcher. But I'm only familiar with the info prior to it's release

Not available to Skyrocket from Market.
But here's the APK. Gonna try it out tomorrow morning.

Sounds like you might need ICS though.
I should prolly read more of that thread before I install.
Ehh, I got a "parse" error when trying to install the APK.
Ohh well.
I believe its for ics 4.0

So this doesn't work even on something like, say, Sky Ice?
No sky ics isnt ics. Only a giant theme.

Now working on the leaked ICS.
And.... it synced all my desktop Chrome favorites. No more having to use Chromemarks!
Seems to be pretty fast also.
Chrome is supposedly pretty buggy right now.
It has no flash though. That's a huge bummer.
Guess I'll just stick with Quick ICS Browser.
Ran it for a while on my Xoom but the no flash becomes annoying quickly
Works on the leaked Skyrocketed ICS build...

[HowTo] Install Playstation mobile

I havent tried it yet, but will soon.
anyone got this up and running? how is is it? as always, use at own risk.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/1...tion-mobile-for-android-on-any-rooted-device/
seems like CM10 peopel are having issues and TW based people are having success. PLease give some feedback for others to follow.
Hope someone gets it fully working soon. Been waiting for this..
Running well for a hacked version. I got a few errors trying to dl the free game. After the 3rd try it worked. Interface is nice. You can only play the free game 5 times before u have to buy it.
Heres a look at the games:
http://kotaku.com/5949228/the-ultimate-playstation-mobile-launch-game-guide
My q? is how does the in app store get updated and how will we update the app itself since it doesnt show up in the Play store list?
This is pretty interesting. Since I already bought a game from playstation mobile on my ps vita, can anyone confirm If I can download the same game through my existing psn account on a different device? Im assuming I could, but I dont trust them 100%.

Are you running a normal stock rom? I installed running a touchwiz jellybean rom (incubus release 8), anything I do causes a force quit.
The app itself may not be compatible with JB yet. You might have to wait till PS updates the app to work with JB.
