[Q] porting galaxy s4 rom to mt6589 devise

Dear Xda Developers,
I hold Mt6589 freelander phone. currently i have android 4.2.1 firmware. eventhough it has latest firmware it has less functionality than galaxy s2.
could some one help me to port galaxy s3 or s4 rom to my devise?
I would like to know that if porting rom will add any functions to my devise and if it would be beneficial.
also i am not a developer i could not make or prepare rom.
if you can prepare rom it would be great.

Hey I'm glad to see someone post this. I think I have the exact same phone as yours only mine has the Exynos Octa 5 processor. Have you got any lead so far on the ROM?

no. not possible. maybe you can get some of the samsung features with a lot of reverse engineering work, but thats a huge amount of work and nobody want´s to do that.

Hi pros,
Lately tecno have produced some low end smartphones running on android, i was so unlucky i got the Tecno P3 which is running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.
The other specs are:
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100
SIM Dual mini SIM
Body
Dimensions 115.8 x 62 x 11.7 mm
Keyboard Touchscreen
Display
Type TFT capacitive touchscreen with 256,000 colors
Size 320 x 480 pixels, 3.5 inches, 165 pixels per inch (PPI)
Memory And OS
Card slot MicroSD, up to 32 GB

Now to the problem, first i am experiencing low memory even after rooting, partitioning SD and using link2SD to link some apps to SD.

Been looking for that too... for my d5. Nearly giving up now. Am not the type that reads a lengthy article so to say, but I think the phone has to be rooted with CWM recovery installed, then you'd be ready to flash the APPROPRIATE ROM through CWM Recovery.... and again: the appropriate ROM.

you can find most of the solutions to ur problems on nairaland.com. some of the specs u gave of the phone are incorrect.
