MZ 601 Will not accept some Indian Sim cards.

This is my first post to the xda ..!
Badly Need help from xda Developers!!!
I recently came across a big problem. I got my Motorola MZ 601 from United states with build version H.6.5-17-1 runnint on Android 3.2
I Bought the devices from states as company unlocked with an intention to use it in India with 3g cellular networks but to my surprise the device will only detect a certain operator sim card which are not offering the 3g service but at the same time When i insert a 3g enable sim card it wont detect the simcard at all!!
After doing research on various forums i came across xda and motodev site which offered firmware Build H.6.1-38-9 for Retail Other International
MD5 Sum: 0e30f60feac30c752a0bf41d35f2f4d3 Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India, New Zealand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, South Africa, Israel for the MZ601 - XOOM WITH WI-FI + UMTS device.
I am not sure if i should re flash the device using the Build H.6.1-38-9 firmware. Also if i do so then will it resolve the problem ?

You have posted in development section, please do not post your queries in this section rather you can post it on question answer section.
in your quiet tout said you have Xoom labeled as Mz601 model then it has to be UMTS Everest 3G device and flashing the firmware meant for the UMTS Everest 3G should support 3G Sim cards, like the one released by team EOS. Please verify your device model first though.

The model number is same as mentioned MZ601. The. Device is quipped with 3g and wifi.

I am traveling to Europe, staying for a year. i have a motorola droid xyboard 8.2 LTE (verizon). When I insert an European SIM Card I get: Wrong Operator: SIM card is from an unknown source.
any tips on getting this XYBOARD to work with other Operator ( SIM CArd)

You have to unlock your tablet to support other carrier than Verizon.
I just bought one and unlocked to support China Telecom network, and it costs me RMB15 (USD2.5).

Would the samsung s3 4G sim card work in the moto G LTE?I do got the 4 g let sim card so i bait lost if it would work?

[Q] Need help to unlock sim on verizon S3 android 4.4.2

Hi everyone.. I need help.. I have galaxy s3 verizon running android 4.4.2. I want to unlock it for any GSM network all I found is for android 4.1.2 or below Kitkat and unable to find any solution for Kitkat 4.4.2. Please help me to unlock my phone to use any sim.

Newer vzw phones don't actually have a sim lock. You just need to put the new sim in, and add APN info. Not sure if this is the case with the gs3.

I'm using a vzw phone in Spain right now.. Didn't do anything to it.. Inserted new sim, added APN.

For future reference, VZW gs3 works fine with a tmo sim, just add apn's for your carrier, as stated above.

Need Help!
Hello! I just bought the international version of the Note 4 SM-910H Unlocked from Best Buy USA. I live in Israel. I am trying to use SIM card from local operator HOT Mobile and getting notice :
Invalid SIM card
Network locked SIM card insered.
I try with few SIM cards from same provider with same message- all SIM cards working properly with iPhone 6 and Moto X devices.
Best Buy when I ask about this problem standing by own version that device they sold UNLOCKED and OK.
Dear XDA developers please help me to understand where from problem comming and who can give or responsible or how I can solve this issue
