i have SE xperia x10 mini E10i . i want to update android 2.1 to 2.2 or above .i have rooted my phone using superoneclick . please tell me all details and steps how to install custom rom on my phone .. i have Kernel 2.6.29 [email protected]#1, build number - 2.1.1.A.0.6, firmware version 2.1-update 1.... i dont knw much about rooting or installation of custom rom .. please help me frnds...

Steps i have already followed:
1.I've Rooted mySE W8 sucessfully using superone click
2.Sucessfully installed busy box and root explorer in my phone
3.After that i've installed xrecovery v1.10 using root explorer
4.Backed up my current official ROM using xrecovery
Problem:
I cannot find a stable infact any customized android 2.2 rom for my phone to install using xrecovery.
I tried one cyanogen 2.2 rom made for SE X8
But it didn't worked on my cell.

u have to check for ur baseband version...like x8,only the version end with xxx.xxx015 will works..
Yes my phone's baseband ersion ends with XXXXX-XXXXXXXXX-XXXXXX15

afaik gingerbread (2.3.x) cannot be rooted, only froyo (2.2.x)

I had same problem But figured it out.. . Install PC Companion.. And repair/update you software again to 2.1 update 1 and you will have xx15 firmware

i liked the Honamifity ROM for my SONY Xperia P. As i told earlier that im a newbie, i needed help in rooting nd flashing my phone.
First of all i needed a list of all the softwares that i will have to download according to my firmware version 6.2.A.1.100. I wanted to know if i'll have to put a new Kernel into my phone. The details of my phone are as follows:
