Yes.. This happens because we have a separate chip for GPU.. So we get 600MHz processing power, for the phone, and a separate 200 MHz for graphincs.. Whereas most other phones in this price range have an ~800 MHz processor, but its one chip for both CPU/GPU.. So they cant perform as well as Explorer..

I am using that same setting as well. However, I adjusted eMMC to 1024 and SDCard to 2048 for the ReadAhead Values.
By doing this, I gained a 600pt increase on the Antutu Benchmark.
Ok,let's all stick to Antutu for testing purposes. Might want to edit OP.

Do you want a more effective ram setup? No not ramdisk but the actually ram.
This will only work with init.d enabled ROMs.
I was searching for some things and I overcame some stuff related to ram.
http://db.tt/WIEVyBFD
Download it and push to /system/etc/init.d/
See it on action here plus a preview of the almost done BricKBeaTZ ROM.

Oo interesting. There any easy way to check whether init.d is supported in the ROM I use? (Do I just check to see if I have the file init.d?) I tend to switch ROMs a lot.

This is overclocking the RAMs speed. Its more effective than cpu because the speed of ram is much faster than our CPU. It also uses less energy for consumption. Overall, again it's perfect.

how about battery? heat? sounds like this will make it run hotter and decrease battery life for a minimal gain.

See for your self. It wouldn't make hotter rather the opposite since it will reduce CPU consumption due to its clock rate.

I now get very low signals now , I am fed up.

Any workaround or can I get that spare part for this phone on any website for cheap.

Bro its just a piece of conductor packed in insulated tape and that should not cost more than Rs. 10 and not more than 50 for opening phone and installing .They don't have that small part so they are replacing the body ie. Body of phone except digitizer .
If you have opened any smartphone you must have seen how easy they are unlike those Nokia phones with too many screws here and there
