Is there any way to get the Galaxy Note II keyboard to work on our devices? I downloaded the APK and tried to install it, but it would not successfully install. I really like the keyboard, because it mixes swype, swiftkey, and handwriting(with swiftkey prediction) in the package. The software from the videos I saw it looks to work very well. Thank you.

Can you please provide some more informationr egarding this .apk? Where have you obtained it from? Maybe it has to be placed in /system/app. with corresponding permissions in order to work. If it is the stock keyboard application for the Note II, it may very well be dependent on core system files the TPT just does not have. Either way, please post a link, and i will be glad to take a look at it.
I got it from xda after doing a search for the Note II keyboard, but I forgot the thread I got it from.

when I upgraded my eu tab to the latest eu rom the ebook app was missing. I know it's not much, but I will pay 10 american dollar to the first who can let me install it, and i will go to 15 if you can fix the landscape impagination while using pixel density.
I know there are other ereader apps around and i used and paid many of them. but I still prefer the samsung one, with the beatifull old book skin, dictionary lookup and double page impagination on landscape. it was almost as good as ubook
Edit:
I managed to install the nook ereader, and now I'm in ebook heaven.
this is why I take back my offer for the Samsung ebook. apk

I too lost the ebook app after flashing the EU firmware. I got it back - I think by doing a factory reset via settings/privacy (I say "I think" because I had a nightmare with clockworkmod and went through a number of steps to get everything back).
Try that first before spending any money .
Id be surprised if anyone here would take your money for this. If I had my laptop (currently away for repairs) id take the apk from system/app and upload it for you.
Hopefully someone will do it and not steal your money *nudge nudge*

I think we just need a deodexed eReader app. There's a thread in the development forum with deodexed tab apps but the eReader app isn't between them.

It has no animation... I guess the animation is part of the OS.

Hi Guys!
I Googled for days to find the S-Note APK for my CM9 phone but could not find it. I decided to switch to KingDroid and i extracted the APK.
However i do not know if this works on non-touchwiz roms, try it out to find out.
If anyone is interested in S-Memo reply here and i will upload that one as well.
I tried it out on my Samsung Galaxy S2 aswell running official ICS, it works perfectly however the app is created for Note screen size and there is screensize issues on Galaxy S2.
Enjoy Guys!
Code:
https://hotfile.com/dl/156977480/a2e51bf/com.sec.android.app.snotebook.apk.html
This requires TouchWiz, unfortunately.
Well then i hope it helps someone might even work on official gb

Have you fixed the screen size problem? Can you post the memo as well? =) thx~~~
how to install this?
if only someone can mod the SNote resolution from 1280x800 to 1280x720 to suit the Galaxy S3, it will be prefect.
S-Note needs TW framework, so it'll run only on stock-based ROMs, but, luckily there's few alternatives which are imho much better, esp. freenote and papyrus (infinite canvass size)

Can anyone upload default Photo Editor from stock ICS?
I've used those... Don't see how their better...

Not sure if you're asking or disagreeing, but both apps are more useful for me when it comes to making longer notes because freenote has a mode when handwritten letters are scaled down and put neatly at the top of page line after line, papyrus has unlimited scalable canvass which performs similar function - I'm able to fit much more text on the screen, compared to S-note, where I'm limited by the actual screen size

my s memo will not work on my note running Official ICS 4.0.4 I have no idea what to do. will this apk help
Screen size fix?
Anybody managed to fix the screen size issue yet?
Also, only the text tool is working for me.
I'm on Galaxy R.
Nothing else working, not even the pen.
Anyone figure out how to make s-memo work with the official ics
Thankx

alternative Apps
if I have a backup on Titanium Backup, can I restore my Memos from S-Note into another app?
I actually would just need one app. And I dont want to go back from Android 4.3.3
Will the SMemo work with Jelly Bean stock? I miss it so much and would appreciate it so much if you could upload it for us.
Thanks in advance

I have now Cyanogenmod 10.2, so I lost Samsung Apps, Touchwiz.... If I have to go back to the stock rom to have them, I prefer to keep Cyanogenmod, since I don't miss Samsung apps and TW.
I just miss the S Note. I am using other notes apps, but I have lost the access to my old notes (I keep the files). So, I am trying to install S Note, but I am not optimistic without TW, and I don't know if there is a method to recover the old S Notes from the files.
All,
I became bored with the stock Samsung keyboard and didn't want to go back to Swift key so so went looking around last night. My original intentions we're to find an upgraded/modded Samsung keyboard. I ended up finding an awesome port of the LG G3 keyboard app that works on our Note 3. I downloaded and installed the g3kb.apk from the following link. Its sleek, intelligent, and everything I was looking for. Hopefully you find some enjoyment as well.

Edit: the zip file worked like a charm. I love it. Thank you so much for this find. Bro. You rock. I'll people know.
Two days in and I believe this is the most well constructed native keyboard made to date. It blows the default Samsung keyboard out of the water on intelligence alone.

Yeah i believe so
auto correct update?
Love the keyboard! Wish that the auto correct bar comes up when entering text in ALL fields except the usual like passwords and numbers. The app works perfectly within the OEM messaging app.
yikes! took out my Action Memo
I loved the keyboard and even endedup installing a mod to force auto correct. After a couple days of use I went for my Action memo and it crash on start every time. I started looking for reasons. Uninstalled the mod for auto correct and no change. Next to go is the keyboard. I followed the following steps but want to know how if this completely uninstalls the files:
1.Use root browser or root explorer to open System/App
2.Put .bak at the end of these files names or delete them -
LGEIME.apk , LGEIME_DICT_XT9_bin.apk , LGEIME_THEME_BLACK#2.apk , LGIme_Theme_HARLEY_DAVIDSON.apk
3.Go to System/Lib and do the same as before except with these 3 files -
libjni_lgeime_native.so , libjni_xt9input_v9.so , libMyScriptHWR.so
4. Reboot your phone
5. Open Settings/Controls/Language and input
6. Lastly, set Samsung Keyboard as your default.
Thanks! Would love to keep but love my action memo more.
If anyone is like me and misses the note 4's emoji suggestion, i have a solution. Also if this was posted already just delete and i apologize. All i did was get my wifes note 4 and extract the keyboard apk. Copy over to note 5. BACK UP CURRENT KEYBOARD or rename it with a .bak at the end. Example: Samsung.ime.bak. Rename the NOTE 4 keyboard. SamsungIMEv2_5.apk and copy to the folder with the same name. then reboot
I have been using this for 2 days and no issues. I have posted the note 4 apk if you need it as well as a pic of how i have it set up and a test shot.
This is my first real post except for thank yous to all the devs so please be gentle.
Also i am not in anyway a pro like the devs on here i just like modding stuff.
And don't forget to fix permissions. 0644 (rw-r-r) thanks mth7386
You might want to update the OP to include "change permissions to 0644 (rw-r-r)" just in case. But thank you for the apk!

What happens when you change your theme from the Theme Store? They all have different keyboards. So where does the stock go orndoes it stay like Note 4 for every theme?
I used this and LOVE it...it looks a little themed though..Its different in color from mine and my iwfes Tmobile Note 4s. I have the Note 5 as well and prefer this one. So I appreciate the effort making this for us
