first of all i would like to tell you that my knowledge about rooting of phones is very low .
i would like to know how to root my phone, which is the best latest ROM for my htc desire s 2.3.5 sense 3 which and i would like to upgrade on the latest OS . Please can somebody give me explanation in detailes . More i read this posts about rooting, roms, os i am more confused .

download roms, and extract the apk? Sorry I don't have any idea on which rom may have this, but happy hunting! I will look into a few in a bit and post back success or shell------I mean failure.
Btw what kinda of app was it? Maybe help me find it. What did it do etc? More details plox!

It's still complex, but if you really want root, you should consider going through this step-by-step.
If it's too complicated for you, maybe you should not root your device.
