Does anybody knows how to change the sms background Color from white to any other dark color?

guys is it possible to change my message background color from white to Black and my text color from black to White...sort of reversing it.
Which facet of the theme compiler controls the system's font color, particularly in the notifications panel? Every time I apply a different status bar, the font stays the same color. The text stays a dark gray so I can't use black status bar/notification panels. And that blows.
Help a brother out?

Interested too. I can't find a theme with dark notification background.
Is it posible to change the white text so it wont white text on a white background?
