Wrong RUU Flashed

i have a htc magic 32 b and i flashed die offical RUU for a 32a.
a video is serach "htc magic crashed" on youtube
this is my problem.
i can´t boot with volume dom+power or recoverymodus.
please help me .

has someone any ruu ?

You must download from HTC using your S/N for flash the correct RUU.

Help! ERROR [155]: UNKNOWN ERROR trying to unroot!

OK, I did the SDK, ADB etc can see my serial in the ADB Dos prompt. Downloaded the TMOUS 1.50 UUA and ran the HTC Android ROM Update Utility 1.0.3.2011 to try and get my US TMOBILE HTC SENSATION back to stock so I can sell it. Keep getting the error 155 - says The ROM Update Utliity cannot upadte your Android phone. Please get the correct ROM Update Utility and try again.
Please help.

PS runing Android Revolution ROM basicly turned my HTC Sensation into Sensation XE 1.5Ghz with Beats Audio - do I need to be running the Sensation XE HTC utility in order to get back to stock?

try the tmous 1.29 version. worked for me. If you installed the latest firmware the 1.29 RUU will give you a little trouble. Just follow the prompts and run it again if need be; it may say you have a bad recovery or bootloader whatever.If it says that it will give you options to fix it. then close and re-run the RUU. 1.29

I had an error as well, not sure if it was 155, nonetheless, I went into boot loader and ran RUU and gone boo more errors

Got It! Thanks to all! I rebooted into bootloader via ADB ran the RUU 1.50 TMOUS and it worked! Im now unrooted and S-ON.

hi,
I need to unroot and s-off my HTC sensation for warranty reasons..
but while running the RUU RUU_Pyramid_hTC_Asia_India_1.45.720.1_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_release_207653_signed
i'm getting and error..
I tried going into bootloader and tried running the RUU again and still got the same error..
Somebody help me out asap as my warranty period is about to end..

Hi,
Error 155 is connection issues.
Try relocking your phone,then,running the RUU
Make sure you go to fastboot in bootloader,and ,then,plug in your USB

i want to S-on to S-off in order to install the arabic RUU in it
i turned the usb debugging and install the HTC Driver on the computer
and download the Revolutionary.
My HLoader is 1.18 . i put the beta key from the site and it is accepted
but at the end i got " Failed to get root "
Plzzzzz anybody help me to solve this problem
but plzz explain step by step cuz i'm new to HTC

What does it say when you boot into Hboot?
If you want to flash a official Arabic RUU all you should have to do is get S-off and then change your CID to Super CID or the CID for the stock ROM in the RUU.

This is simple dude.. Revolutionary zengroot is not working for many devices... So you need to somehow root your device properly..That's where tacoroot comes . Use this guide to run revolutionary and you are good to go

have a vodafone nz z710e ... tried flashing a stock ics RUU .. and i just ended up with a htc sceen rebooting over and over ..
should have read a bit more about the intricacies of upgrading ..re cid and sw version etc
so i found a custom 2.34 and managed to flash that, so at least i can get the phone running.
i've unlocked the bootloader, and have a custome recovery on there now.
but i just can't get the reolutionary s-off app to work ... just gets stuck at the zerg boot thing ..and the same issue with the wire trick, the app hangs ..
i can adb flash stuff to the phone no problem ...
but yeh seems i'm stuck on 2.34 , 152.720.3 , hboot 1.18.000

A gold card should work fine pal I will post back when I am home a link to a goldcard making website. just remember the smaller the sdcard the better in my opinion (size in gigabyte) , you will need to flash a "upgrade" to the phone so make sure its a software upgrade but not a Hboot upgrade (try get a WWE Rom ) and you will need to relock your bootloader again before you can run the ruu. if you find one that needs to be Downgraded just say and I will try to help you downgrade your misc partition

I would try mmc0 first, and if that fails try mmc1. Its been a long time since ive used a goldcard for a emmc device :/

thanks mate ... so umm ..do i have to do anything to runn the ruu?
i mean, do i just boot up the phone with the gold card and run the ruu on my pc .... problem is if i relock the bootloader the custome rom i have currently loaded will cause the phone not to boot up, only to fastboot.
so i guess i have to find a zip version and do it via PG58IMG?
but if i do it that way do i have to flash a firmware that supports that rom first?? :/

i really think i'm screwed unless i can get s-off
is there any manual way to get s-off on a hboot 1.18.000 device via adb ...ie not using these revolution or the wire trick ...just pure adb ?

Hi,
In order to s-off you need Revolutionary for 1.18 and wire trick for 1.2x
Your problem is you unlocked via HTC DEV.
Relock .
What area are you in?
Would Asia work?

With the goldcard in the phone and your bootloader locked connect to the pc in fastboot mode and run the ruu iy should run without issue. Just make sure its a gingerbread rom your trying to flash and not a ics one and you shouldn't have any firmware issues

the other problem is the sw version number is quite high .. 1.52.720.3 ...and having a hard time finding a GB rom with a higher version, let alone WWE

and it goes through upuntil updating signature ...... ERROR[131]:customer ID ERROR ...
so i guess that goldcard didn't work...i'll try making another based on mmc1 .... does any one know for sure which one it should be?
feel like i'm getting closer ....new aim is just to get back to stock ...any stock version ...

other way is to change the cid to the european unbranded one and install that ruu again
it might work

fastboot getvar cid (to check if cid has changed)

I'm pretty confident it will work, as long as its an update. It won't downgrade unless you have a misc partition downgrade done. If mmc1 fails then an upgrade will be needed to get ics firmware and then s-off via jupuntobear.

i think it is unecessary but you must have stock rom

ok i've having issues editing android-info.txt of any zip i extract or download.
can anyone with a stock ics zip please add VODAP022cidnum: and upload it somewhere?
i figure if i can get that, i should be fine as my hboot is 1.18.000 and my sw is 1.52.720.3 .... so any ics zip with my cid in it should work ....

do not extract the android-info.txt
just open it from the zip with notepad
then edit and save

yeh it's after the save that i have the problem, it's like i dont have permission to edit the zip :/ .... i must be doing some thing wrong....

Download From Here
You can find the 3.33.709.6 version here, but after install you can easily get the OTA back up to *.153.
edit: sorry, just realised you need the "le" version. You can still find a RUU for that. An old one (1.73.709.4), but again after installing that you can get the rest through OTA!

i have already tried the file you linked, but failed because it is lower version and it is necessary to update a phone with existing version or higher otherwise ruu installation fails.
i have got an appropriate ota file but dont know how to install it manually

fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip your_zip_name.zip (replace the your_zip_name with the name of the zip file)
fastboot reboot

i tried fastboot trick but failed
i tried to follow the link, you gave but facing trouble:
the 1st way, gold card trick, needs a working android phone to get the cid of sdcard which i don't have. instead i have a laptop and read somewhere that a laptop can be used to get the cid of sdcard but how? i don't know.
the 2nd way,described in the given link, flashing nand backup is for s-off while mine s-on.
moreover i never backed up my phone so i don't have any nand backup.
finally i have found a link to download my required RUU but that is available for premium paying account membership for $40 which i can not afford. here is the link:

The easiest way for you to flash your phone would be to S-OFF your device and then you will be allowed to downgrade to lower firmware.Probably Goldcard is not working with HTC Sensation in order to downgrade your device.
If you have a working ROM installed just find an S-OFF guide.You could also unlock your bootloader with HTC DEVS way, install a custom rom with custom recovery (or the official one if you need it) and make the S-OFF procedure.
