1. Dim behind Expanded Panel (by ammar786)
Working on CM10 roms
Instructions:
-put the SystemUI.apk into your system/app
-If SystemUI crashes, take out battery & power on
2. Kill All Task Mod (by TopDroid & Team Remics)
Working on Doomnexus V2 & CM10 by camcory
Instructions:
-Extract Kill_All_MOD_By_TopDroid.zip
-Open folder and go to data/sys-parts/app
-Copy SystemUI.apk & TaskManager.apk and put in your system/app
-If SystemUI crashes, take out battery & power on
If task manger is not working please use this
3. Galaxy Note Lock screen Style (by Adi_ai****eru)
Working on CM9 by arco68, Might work on Ivendor's CM9 & CM9 based roms

-Go to recovery mode
-Go to advanced and click on mount system

Yes if you mod both of them to one. (every apk is a zip, unzip, put the requested files together, zip, rename to apk, finish)

Updated and added 2 new mods. Tablet Ui patch and the all awaited ACID audio engine. And yes acid audio is working fine. Flashed it over smoothieJB and there is no cracking sound in bass boost even though I set it to high in dsp manager

I have never received any PM of Ace Plus users asking me permissions to use my ROM as a base. I clearly do not want to see my ROM re-uploaded with some apps changed.

This is CWM zip and its a full rom not just the deodexed app and framework folder

I prefer DDLK2 over DDMD1.. Because DDMD1 and DXLL1 are having issues with kernels other than stock ddmd1/dxll1 kernel

Thank you, it's what I've been looking for! Just have one problem. Before I flashed this rom, I was on Repencis 3.5 Advanced with Merruk Kernel. I flashed it, and it went successfully. Just one problem, though. I still have Merruk Kernel, but I want to go back to stock. How do I do this? Do I have to flash a stock firmware with odin, and then flash this deodexed zip?

Really nice thread, it's very useful. But can you make also an european stock rom deodexed, like XXLD5? Because in my country I had some problem with Asia's Firmware.

Hey can you provide it as a simple .apk installer ? The new launcher of CM11 is nice but doesn't rotate and I hate that. I want a desktop who rotates.

use some file explorer with root access, f.e. root explorer, navigate to root/system/app and delete trebutchet

yes it is..my apologies. I was hoping to find a way to use the Trebuchet Launcher on stock KitKat 4.4.2. :-/

I am running CM 11 and tried installing this and do not believe it worked. I cannot see any different in Trebuchet, specifically I am looking for the menu button on the home screen to go back to giving an option for system setting ala CM 10. I have tried clearing Cache and Dalvik and still believe I am on the CM11 Trebuchet.
Please advise.

I've flashed many many Roms,(color rom, MIUI. etc) the latest being the JMP Chili Rom and my camera does not work in all of them. It says, cannot connect to camera. I've already flashed the Binass kernel, but maybe I flashed it wrong? Is there something I need to do? Please help me out, thank you so much in advance.

Do you have to wipe cache/dalvik or anything else after flashing this kernel? I have flashed it too, but only the front camera is working.
when do you flash it? right after flashing ROM? Can I do it now that my phone is up and running? or do I have to reflash the rom too?

Camera not working in 4.2 roms - solution
Hi,
Now, are you on a micromax A110 that came with jellybean by default when you bought it (referred to as jb out of the box). If so
1. the new unified bindassboost 4.2 kernel by bindass dost supports camera in jb out of the box devices. flash that while flashing the rom and it should be okay. here is the link to the thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2683095
These are the steps I usually use when flashing,
1. wipe data, wipe dalvik cache (in advanced options)
2. go to mounts and storage and format system
3. install the rom zip
4. install any patches, if provided (although I usually boot the first time, see if the patch is necessary and then if so, install)
5. install bindassboost 4.2 kernel
6. reboot:highfive:
Note: the above instructions are for 4.2 roms only. For 4.1 you can skip step 5.

5. monster os by pradeep maddy (got a little bug though. cant place widgets)
6. All miui roms (I'd advise you to avoid them, because on jb out of the box (I'm not sure about others) they lag like hell and you cant transfer apps to the sd card (4.2 roms. In 4.1 mi there was no camera focus)

Personally, i prefer 4.1 roms though. It seems 4.2 lags a bit on jb out of the box:crying: as far as I've tried.

These are the steps I usually use when flashing,
1. wipe data, wipe dalvik cache (in advanced options)
2. go to mounts and storage and format system
3. install the rom zip
4. install any patches, if provided (although I usually boot the first time, see if the patch is necessary and then if so, install)
5. install bindassboost 4.2 kernel
6. reboot:highfive:
Note: the above instructions are for 4.2 roms only. For 4.1 you can skip step 5.

5. monster os by pradeep maddy (got a little bug though. cant place widgets)
6. All miui roms (I'd advise you to avoid them, because on jb out of the box (I'm not sure about others) they lag like hell and you cant transfer apps to the sd card (4.2 roms. In 4.1 mi there was no camera focus)

Thanks so much for your reply bro. So to clarify, if I flash any of the above ROMs with JB out of the box, my camera should work right? Or do I have to flash a 4.1 ROM? If so, which 4.1 ROM would you recommend?

Well, you can pretty much flash any 4.2 Rom as long as you follow my steps and flash the BINDASSBOOST latest version kernel found in the original android development section:victory:
These are just the Roms I've tried out and liked a bit
No you don't have to flash a 4.1 Rom. I was just saying that as far as I had observed ( I own a JB out of the box device), 4.2 Roms seemed to lag a lot. That's why I said I preferred 4.1 Roms. It was just my opinion. You DON'T NEED to flash a 4.1 Rom
If you are stuck at deleting cache during the ROM'S INSTALLATION (after you've pressed install zip), then
1. you may not actually be stuck. In some Roms, the blue bar indicating progress does'nt move uch during installation. So you may think it got stuck.
2. Try changing your recovery. I suggest clockworkmod v 6.0.28. I once used TWRP recovery and it didnot flash any Rom on the first try and kept getting a message saying I had Root problems. Might be something with the recovery
3. The ROM file may be corrupt. Try downloading again. But mostly I think it's first one.
If you're stuck at deleting cache while using the wipe cache option from the recovery, then there is something wrong with your recovery. flash a new one.
