[Q] Internal, external memory storage widget? - Asus Transformer TF700

Can anyone help me to find a widget that will display both internal and external memory usage? It should also include information for both the tablet micro sd and the keyboard sd cards.
Here are some of the less than acceptable solutions I've found so far:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
What's really sad is that they all have some serious problem(s), getting the units wrong, displaying the same memory device twice, etc.
This, the following picture, is totally lame, that is, it isn't really useful as a monitor, which is what I want in the way of a widget:
If there are any developers out there listening I'd personally like something really simple and small. I believe that it could even by a 1x1 if it only states the amount of free memory for each of the 3 memory devices. --and maybe color coded: green, yellow, red (thresholds configurable). I'm willing to pay, that is, a good widget doesn't have to be free.
Thank you,
Edro

That's a shame. Not as sexy as the earlier speculation

Nobody seems sure if this baby has a slidey-keyboard or not.
What do we think, kids?
Yay for built-in GPS though. I think, if the software is easy to use, this could be a killer app for smart-phones.
Also: boo on micro-SD, give us regular SD so we can cram a whole 8Gb into this baby.
Maybe there will be two different models of it like the Wizard? There is the WIZ100, which is more square. And there is the WIZ200 which is more rounded. Same basic hardware though.
The black concept looks amazing

Deprecation of AbsoluteLayout

Hi All
I've updated my project and on of my concerns is the deprecation of AbsoluteLayout
look at this:

notice the cards on the middle that are overlapping?
see the bottom cards that have some sticking up?
how am i supposed to do that without AbsoluteLayout???
any ideas will be appreciated...
You copy the AbsoluteLayout code from the master source tree and maintain it yourself... You figure out how to do this using FrameLayout or RelativeLayout. The Android Team claims you can do anything that you can do with an AbsoluteLayout with either FrameLayout or RelativeLayout, though I am skeptical. Personally, I might suggest ditching the view hierarchy and drawing your UI to the canvas or even OpenGL.
got it to work using linear layout
I did do it, but it isn't 100%...
take a look

See if you can get some help from SweeterHome. They seem to have the layer thing down pat.
You may find that it is a memory hog, though. Because that is the main problem that SweeterHome has had developing their app... The lack of available memory on the hardware.

Vital Asc tablet storage issue

Hi, I recently received this tablet as a gift from family for my birthday. Well, there is a pretty big issue that really bothers me. Note, I have been modding/rooting for years. Well this tablet has no custom Roms, and it came stock with a weird partition. All apps from the play store get put on a 1 gig partition, which runs out of space quite often. There is a 13 gig partition that is just basic storage. I can transfer some apps to the "SD card" partition, but I am running out of eligible apps that I can transfer. How can I either repartition this or set the auto download to go to the 13 gig partition? I did find a root so apps that require root access do work. Thanks!
P.s. this tablet runs dang slow sometimes.. Any way to OC it or any fixes for that?

Guys, what do you think, could we do the same with our Z3 using this method for SGS7 ?
i did all the steps there but it didnt work for me, it showed a negative amount of total space and the apps couldnt move to the adopted SD Card.
have anyone got better results?
The negative amount bug is considered to be normal.
I used it with a Z3Compact Tablet and a Samsung Evo+ 128GB sd card and this is working very good in my case. You have to use the "migrate data" Option, so Apps etc. will be moved to the sd card.

I tried using it, next thing i knew my SD Card wouldn't read after a reboot, had to run Diskpart on windows to fix it.
Does it slow down the system at all?

Storage issues - Tablet

Hello, I have a question that I want to consult to see if anyone has any ideas or solutions. My cousin has one of the tablets that institutions give to public schools. It has 128Gb of memory, but its apps are only installed in a space apart from 3Gb, that is, limited. Does anyone know how to fix that?

You're closing yourself off to help if you don't tell us the exact name of the device model.
