Hey guys!
Noob here who has flashed other phones in the past, but never anything Android based. Is there a step by step guide anywhere for the Mesmerize? Something generic and simple to follow from post root to a fully flashed phone?

Well our moderator is nowhere to be seen.. we should have a step by step sticked.. but we don't.
1) Root your phone. Search the forums to figure out how to do that.
2) Install RomManager and the ClockworkMod Recovery. There's a thread for that as well.
3) Download and install the ROM of your choice. Roms are located in the Dev Forums.
The details can be found in the Mesmerize General and the Mesmerize Development Forums. Search is your friend.

When I began this process about 2 weeks ago, I was at the same experience level as you Tyler. This is what worked easiest for me for my US Cellular Mesmerize.
(I'm just going to elaborate a bit on what Dcow posted, hopefully he doesn't mind .
Also keep in mind there are many variations to each step, this is what worked for me the easiest as a newb, hoping it does for you too.
And last but not least. There is always the disclaimer that attempting any of this can and will make your phone dysfunctional and or possibly bricked beyond repair (but most likely just dysfunctional which is a pain in the arse to deal with) if you do not follow steps completely (and of a trustworthy source such as xda).
So take your time, read each step that these people have taken the time to carefully write up, and you'll be just fine. Be patient as things don't always move fast and you never want to freak out as you may screw things up bad, when it's actually just taking longer than you would expect. There is alot going on behind the scenes so just give it time, trust me!
1) Root your phone. - Basically all this means is gaining the ability to give programs/apps and yourself SuperUser access (equivalent of being admin in windows) and also the ability to flash roms via recovery, detailed below.
The easiest way to root is to acquire the z4root.apk.
Download Here
After download, put z4root.apk on your SD card root directory
Then make sure in Settings->Applications that the "Unknown sources" box is checked.
If you don't have a file manager, download a free one from the market, using the file manager navigate to the z4root.apk and select to install it.
Reboot your phone
After it boots, open the z4root app and press root. At this point it is going to hang, give it 2 minutes and pull the battery. Count to 10, put it back in and turn it on. - This is normal, trust me.
After it reboots open z4root again and run it, this time it will run no problems and phone will reboot.
Once you are rooted (you will see the superuser icon in your apps, it will show apps you've given that permission to eventually) you will need to make sure you have a file manager that can request root permissions (read/write) before you will be able to complete the next step. Search the market for "root file manager" and pick one to download and install.
Also at this step I would download and install RomManager and TerminalEmulator as you will need these later.
2) Install RomManager and the ClockworkMod Recovery. These will basically just give you the ability to boot into recovery where you can more easily flash kernel's/rom's and anything else you wish to push to your phone.
I was able to install the Clockwork Mod Recovery very easily just by simply using the root file manager app I downloaded with these instructions.
Download the two zip files located in the first post here
Place both files on your SD card root
Using the root file explorer app, move the Redbend_ua file from the SD card to /system/xbin/
Long press on the Redbend_ua file and click permissions, there should be one check missing, check that.
Now open the TerminalEmulator
NOTE:The spaces below are actual spaces and the bml8 is a lowercase "L" not a "1" there is also a space after cd, after redbend_ua, after restore, and after recovery.bin
TYPE THIS ALL EXACTLY AS SHOWN BETWEEN THE QUOTES
at the command line ($) type "su" (then hit enter)
Type "cd /system/xbin" (then hit enter, which changes directory)
Type "redbend_ua restore /sdcard/recovery.bin /dev/block/bml8" (then hit enter, It will now scroll a bunch of text and reboot.)
After phone boots, open RomManager
Click on Flash ClockworkMod Recovery
Select the Samsung Fascinate your phone will still be the mesmerize
At this point you're all stock and ready for new kernel/rom.
3) Install Voodoo lagfix kernel and new 5.0 sound
If you want speed and good battery life (and high standard marks) +unlocking the headphone amp and eq controls (it makes even the samsung headset sound killer) go here and follow those steps for using your now functional recovery mode to flash the new Voodoo 5.0 kernel.
Note: There are a few ways of getting into this recovery mode, the best way if all else fails is to hold phone from the back with left hand (thumb on volume button, in the middle holding both down and pointer on power button) hold these down until the mesmerize logo pops up then slide your thumb down a bit to volume down only (if you slip don't worry it might blink but it'll still go to recovery)
Note: If you are more code/computer oriented there is a method using a program called ADB, which I'm not familiar with and seemed more complicated than what I went with. Search for that on the forum if you wish to do the above process that way instead.
4) Download and install the ROM of your choice.
Just pick one from this list Here, read through the first post of each before you decide, some are plug and play some take a few steps first.

That is the old Voodoo kernel, you will need to go to the link I listed in my post for Voodoo 5, and yes you can simply disable lagfix and flash the new one over the old.
And no problems on the write up, I spent a good amount of time digging up the links and stuff but I'll spend a little more time polishing it and will post it in another thread for Scotsman to stickie.
And to answer your last question, no I'm having no problems with any functions of my phone after upgrading to voodoo 5.

There isn't a button, per se. When you go in to recovery, there is a disable lagfix option under voodoo. You can put the file, disable_lagfix, in the voodoo folder on your sdcard to do the same thing.
He does write up a good how-to, though, doesn't he.

I think the reason you don't usually see this much detail from others is because they are more developmentally enabled and therefore "forget" to break down the little steps that are second nature to them but foreign language to a non-developer.
Thanks. I found it. and disabled it aready. now i just download the file in the write-up and boot into recovery, install zip from sd card and select my file correct?
I always wipe dalvik cache (in advance settings within Recover) before flashing anything.
So it's;
Disable Lagfix
Reboot (you'll hear the chick reversing the process)
Clear Dalvik
Install voodoo 5.0 from zip
reboot
re-enable lagfix and reboot one last time.
Then you'll need to download the voodoo controller app from the market to control the amp gain and set a few other eq settings.

Ive done all that except re-enable lag-fix. Noone ever mentions that step. Do I just remove the "disable_lagfix" file from the voodoo file and reboot?
I just enable/disable it through the voodoo menu in recovery, much easier than pushing files around. In your case i think you should be able to delete the file and reboot, but if not you may just need to go into voodoo and enable it that way (after removing the disable file)
I guess if I edit a post and dont finish it, the post gets deleted. Oh well, I asked how to reenalbe lag fix but i figured it out. Like I said I had to put the disable lag_fix file in the voodoo folder. I just had to remove it from that folder.
Is there a way to tell (besides the quickness and the extended battery life) how do i tell if its voodoo5? just out of curiousity
Just a guess here but possibly under About Phone the kernel version might? Mine is listed as 2.6.29
I would also think that when trying to use the Voodoo app it would fail if you didn't have the kernel so that would be a sign too, if that's what you're looking for.

Now I think I might wait to see the awesome developers come up with for 2.2. I dont mind the stock 2.1 for now. I just dont want to keep flashing ROM's, if they might be close to getting a version of 2.2 going. I can wait....I think.

2.2 is so close, you should be able to smell it. I've had it's froyo-ey goodness all over my phone and even with the issues we're still having, I flash it back every night when I get home to play with it.

And since his Thread was Flawless, with his permission I'm mostly copy/pasting word for word. as I am copying most of this from elijablake . . . so thanks this thread needs some editing, and I will be working on that in the future . . . . specifically the CWM / ROM manager which will not work. Disclaimers
CSOUTH IS RELEASEING 2.2 UPDATE THIS WEEK (6/26). You may just want to wait for that to be released. This thread will be updated when the release occurs as how to flash recovery that you can flash roms with etc.
Keep in mind there are many variations to each step, this is what worked for me the easiest. READ ALOT BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH ANYTHING!!

Steps to get to 2.2 (EB11) on your phone:
**Please note that the links were removed by CSouth for copyright (COPY WRONG *****ES) reasons. So if you can find the files somewhere (ahem . . . ) then you can follow these steps. THIS GUIDE IS PURELY FOR EDUCATIONAL VALUE, I DO NOT ADVOCATE BREAKING COPYRIGHT LAW.
I highly recommend using Heimdall rather than Odin. Don't ask me why . . . maybe because it has a command line utility and it is cross platform. So my instructions will be for using Heimdall.
After you have the downloaded files (from wherever you might have gotten them, you bad bad person) unzip and look for the following files:
-factoryfs.rfs
-modem.bin
-recovery.bin
-zImage
1) Put your phone in download mode by powering down your device, removing the battery, connecting the USB to your computer, and holding the volume down button. It shouldn't take long. You should see a little Android with a shovel.
2) In Heimdall, if using the GUI, put all of the files in their obviously appropriate spots. Don't worry if not everything is filled, just use the files that you have. (You should be using the repartition with the .pit file, the zImage with the Kernel, the recovery, and the modem)
If using the command line utility, cd to the directory where you unzipped the files and

heimdall flash --repartition --pit atlas_v2.2.1.pit --factoryfs factoryfs.rfs --kernel zImage --modem modem.bin --recovery recovery.bin
Wait for the process to finish, your phone will reboot at the end.
3. That is all, now your phone is updated to 2.2.1. Put the battery back in and boot your new shiny toy!
DO NOT DISCONNECT USB DURING THIS PROCESS AS IT COULD BE POTENTIALLY DISASTROUS!!! DON'T EVEN TOUCH IT AS I HAVE FOUND THE USB CONNECTION TO BE A BIT FLAKY!
Also, it is ok if it takes your phone what seems like forever to boot. This happens whenever you install a new kernel, just be patient.
If you have gotten the most updated batch of files, you should have the proper recovery to begin flashing. If not, well seek help . . . You should have RED RECOVERY!
See here for more information about CWM or go on irc.
To access recovery, you can use the three finger method. (Hold down the volume up and down keys and the power button all at the same time when you're turning your phone on) Once you see the Samsung splash screen you can remove your finger from the power button, but keep holding down both volume keys.
You should then go here to check out themes and mods.
Steps For Rooting either 2.1 or 2.2.1

After your phone boots open z4root again and click root, this time it will run no problems and phone will reboot.
NOTE**IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH z4root: "give Super One Click a try. It's a package you have to download to your computer, but you get to see more of what's actually going on so you know where it's at in the process. I have only used up to version 1.5.5, and I know that version is very capable for the Showcase. It is located here."-This Information provided by phidelt82**

It seem everyone forgot about the Samsung Showcase Galaxy S Generic CDMA.
I managed to Root it flash CWMR and flash TSM TW 4.0 ROM. but then try to go back to stock and lost 3G. So I returned it and get a new one. No more mods for me I'm done no one cares about Generic CDMA.
Can someone provide directions to install a custom rom for a Showcase running stock 2.3.4? I don't have root. I'd really appreciate any help!
i would like to mimic gremlin remover with heimdall, but i am unsure how gremlin remover works, so i would LOVE some more info on it

So does Gremlin Remover flash KC1(pit, datafs, kernel, factoryfs, cachefs, etc.) firmware first?
then the app proceeds up the list? does it go through the different andriod versions? like skip KD1 because KC1 is already 2.2, just jump to 2.3.3?
that is a good start, but there must be an order to the way things are flashed. And EVERY stock ROM? 600mb now seems a bit small, with an avg. of 200mb per rom.

However heimdall is a bit more picky than odin is on the variables needed to work properly. Meaning sometimes heimdall will not flash something odin will. But heimdall works on almost all pc based operating systems.

Gremlin Remover is just a name thomas raines gave it. It is a one click package of odin. Which with some searching will tell you what it does.
I just cant grasp why you cant grasp that. Reading what thomasraines has posted explaining it was more than enough for everybody else. I mean it really cant be explained any better. It takes the packages he has pre-loaded and flashes them all in one click.

i would like to know specifically what firmware packages. and in what order, oldest to newest? it can be explained better if you read my question and understand what i am asking.
how is the gremlin remover.exe only 600mb IF it contains ALL various firmware version files, that is at least 7, 200mb stock roms. explain? redundant data?
ive searched, and provided the information i have come up with, and asked many times, yet i get the same answer:
"works like heimdall, but heimdall is open source, blah blah blah, BS."
COOL, i know that, and ive tried reading into heimdall, on their offical page, through this forum, not the information im looking for.
eollie, you posted of "variables" that heimdall doesn't like, but odin will tolerate, what are you talking about? partition parameters set up by the pit? the flash not following the partition? sizes of partition? i would like a COMPREHENSIVE ANSWER, if you want to post that i should know this info or what-not, DONT, just answer my question, this is the Q&A board.
It doesn't contain all the firmwares. Just one. Read the thread for it. All the info you want is in it. If you really want a "comprehensive" answer PM the creator of the program.

Did you even read the first post in the gremlin remover thread? The above quote is taken from there. He does not ever say it uses every firmware it says it formats every PARTITION.
As for the variable I spoke of. Think about what all variable are in play when connecting your phone to your computer. Common sense thinking and deductions would give you your answer. But mostly these are things like usb ports and usb cables.
Gremlin Remover is a PROCESS not just the one click. If you are wanting to recreate the Gremlin Remover 1- Click package as a Heimdal 1-Click package, then you will have to extract /system, /data, recovery, /cache, kernel, pit, and modem images from your device yourself. Depending on what ROM you are using will determine the method in which you do so. Then you will have find the correct tools to package everything up as a 1-Click. I actually already have a Heimdal 1-Click built and working, but have been too involved in other projects to remember to upload and release it. Maybe I will do that this weekend...lol
However, everyone is correct. READ MY OP ON GREMLIN REMOVER! I have included all necessary information as to what ROM/kernel I used to create the 1-click.
Take heed in what you do here as you could hard brick your device. My advice would be to perform the UBM on your phone before you start messing with this. I speak from experience on this as I didn't perform the UBM mod and bricked my device. Which was my encouragement to go UBM...lol

Honestly:
You don't want to mount/copy your partitions via adb to your computer because sometimes it doesn't read correctly. You want to use terminal on the phone.
Depending on what you are using, ie bml or mtd, depends on what/how you mount/copy them. For example, /system in mtd is /dev/block/mmcblk25 (if memory serves me correctly)...
I don't follow too many Roms or kernels on the sgs4 anymore because I have many of my own projects going on.
I can tell you, Google is your best tool and asset at this point. That's how I figured 90% of this stuff out...

Personally, I have my own recovery/fix methods which I am too lazy to explain and will take thousands of words, but if you want to use raines' gremlin remover, you have to have a reason. Gremlin remover isn't a toy or a happy method of swithing android versions. It is a re-virginator if i remember correctly. You shouldn't use it unless you have a specific problem.
and thomas, that's bml mounting I believe, not mtd. MTD is mtdblocksomenumber.

If you're really this confused, what you are trying to do is way over your head. Take some time to learn how Linux works, down to the filesystem and boot-sequence level. Without that, you're looking at more trouble than you know, and won't get much sympathy.

could have typed an answer in the time you spent typing some NO-ANSWER response, what do you think i do in my downtime? constantly refresh page looking for an answer? i wish i could consider forums a consistent, reliable source, but they are only an intro to the means to get to the end, at best. xda is one of the most helpful forums, but like all forums, there are these "elitists". EX: so you spent years and thousands of dollars learning something, you have a great understanding of it, someone asks you a stupid question pertaining to your specialization, you consider your knowledge to be "too-good" for this noob, he must learn himself. but, you have a great understanding and could explain simply and thoroughly, but you dont, cuz you're "elite". :highfive:
i could shovel through some google pages, but i have a transmission to work on, RAID 5 setup to install/replace old RAID1&2, water-pump to replace, shifter assembly along w/ the cables on my bicycle, and a girlfriend to entertain(computers and cars really turn her off).
i understand most people are busy with their lives, so why waste both of our time with a response that has no information? obviously i have more to learn about lunix and android, this is the Q&A...?

BTW: i flashed the heimdall one-click i made. worked like a charm. was i just lucky, considering i used adb terminal to copy phone partitions to the sd card? i dont understand the problem, is it the adb cmd or the actual transferring of blocks from phone to computer?
Look people are trying to help you and when they offer help you come back with a question that has been answered. Now you are saying you dont have the time to use search/google to find the answers and expect people to repeat or find them for you. No. There isnt one person that has responded to you that get paid as tech support for xda. We do this because we want to help people avoid making bad mistakes and enjoy android. The number one rule of xda is Search before posting. Number one rule. Yet you just stated you have better thing to do than search.
Everything you have asked can be answered by taking the time to read and comprehend what is being said. Yes this is the Q&A section but it is not the hold somebodies hand because they are too lazy to do something on their own. If you are worried you will break something maybe you should reconsider doing any modding. Or accept its possible to break and it will be your responsibility to fix if you do.

i thought it was mostly driver/OS issues which are the "variables" between heimdall and odin
thomas mentioned something of adb not reading partitions right on the computer from the phone, is this part of the "variables"? because of the cables or port? or is it the android debug bridge itself, reads data on phone wrong, which then sends to computer? or does it get messed in the transfer process? adb reads correctly, transfers correctly, jumbled somehow through cable/port(DOUBTFUL). i dont know too much about hardware, but i dont see how usb cables can differ other than usb 1.0/2.0/3.0, voltage through cable is limited...i can grasp how the usb ports can differentiate; motherboard ports, extension ports?
You don't need "shovel through some google pages" for this. It has already been explained what the Gremlin Remover does in this thread. To repeat, it flashes each of the appropriate partitions with a "known-good" version of firmware or software as appropriate.
You have also been pointed to Heimdall, which will let you examine the pit in a human-readable form. The pit clearly calls out what partition holds what content for the Samsung partitioning.
There is a reasonable assumption here that people take the time to get the background skills required to perform the task at hand. Since you claim to be in the process of "RAID 5 setup to install/replace old RAID1&2," you should know enough about Linux to extract zip files, examine partitions on a device, and know the difference between image- and file-based backups and restores. All the device-specific information you have asked for in your previous posts have been provided. Your new request for modems has also been indirectly answered.
You shouldn't have an expectation that a request to achieve a goal, for which there is already a proven method available to you, will be spoon-fed to you, especially since what you are asking to do can easily brick your phone, or brick the phone of any other reader of this forum. There is a pre-packaged Gremlin Remover that achieves the goal, has been tested by many, and is reasonably robust against user error. There are modems available for flashing, if you take the time to find them, either here in the forum, or in the files that I hope you have already downloaded.
If you don't understand why there are so many mounted partitions for a running Android phone, you should look carefully at them and the answer should be clear.

If the concept that a question gets answered in an appropriate way, and that you can't demand an answer isn't making sense to you, think of it as someone who thinks they have a "transmission to work on" and when they open the cover, they are completely puzzled. I will answer all your questions when I have more time (this weekend). Being a single father (yes in married but my wife and I live in 2 separate states) of 2 teenage girls with a long career in the army dictates that my time as a dev, auto mechanic, and race car driver is limited. I have given you the necessary tools to begin your project, but it will take some "leg"work from you. If there is something you are just not getting, I will be more than happy to help you when time allows me. But I can tell you, that there are 3 pages that can be found in Google that will answer most of your questions. All you have to search for is "how to make an Odin backup". In each guide, they explain how to dump your images into 1 file; however, the partitions they list are not for the sgs4g and you must figure out which ones you need. Those partitions vary per kernel/Rom type. However, with the code you listed above, you already know how to list the partitions, and a simple Google search will tell you what is contained on that partition. I have not posted any code for you because in on my phone replying to you and that feature isn't available to me. I'm not trying to be "elite" or whatever else you chose to insult me and the others in this forum. And to be honest, I nor anyone else should help you any longer if you are going to get that attitude with us. So, I and my team mates send you a great Team Fah-Q!

So I rooted my phone for the first time via Odin. And it worked -- after that, I tried to install a custom ROM (slim bean) -- I ended up uploading the non zipped version on my SD card. And I went through all the steps to install up until "format/system" to realize that I didn't have the zipped files.
Now my phone is stuck on the Samsung Icon. I just tried to use Odin to flash the stock gingerbread again, but there it gets stuck on "Setup Connection".
Please help! Total newb at this, and clearly it failed.

My phone wouldn't turn off even with Odin closing, so I took out the battery -- so now my startup screen is
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
How do I fix this?
That is kind of a secondary download mode.. odin or heimdall should detect your phone.
Make sure you have a good usb cable and maybe try switching usb ports.

Right. To add to andros11's post, was the top left box yellow in Odin before you clicked start? Odin will acknowledge that your phone is connected immediately (the box should be yellow if you your phone is connected properly). Of course, make sure you have all of the appropriate drivers (i.e. download Kies for the Infuse).
Also, for future reference, I have a fix for situations like yours so you don't have to go back to stock. Basically, you can use adb to push the correct zip file to your sdcard. What you do is:
Download and install the Android SDK: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Make sure to install platform tools (a separate download from within SDK)
In Mac and Linux, open up Terminal. I can't remember how Windows works, sorry! Navigate to wherever the platform tools folder is. You have to do this using command line, so, cd <the/path/to/your/folder> (the easiest way is to just type cd, hit the space bar and then drag the folder to the Terminal window).
Once there, connect your phone to your computer. It can be in CWM or Download mode
Type in Terminal: adb devices
The next line - the response - should tell you if your phone is recognized. If it's blank, try again. If it's still blank, you might try disconnecting usb phone cable and reconnecting again. You might also try going into download mode.
Okay. Next type: adb push <here, just drag the zip file to your terminal window> /sdcard/
Give it time to push the file to the sd card. Repeat if necessary (if you have more than one zip)
Exit terminal, disconnect phone from computer, go back into recovery, navigate to the sdcard to flash and lo and behold! The proper zip file is there for you!
This might sound long, but it's so easy. Getting SDK set up is probably the biggest pain and it's not really that much of a pain!
You may want to give Heimdall a try rather than Odin.

So, Whizzpopper -- I *think* I installed SDK, but since my phone still says, "Firmware upgrade encountered issue. Please select Recovery mode in Kies and try again." I tried connecting it to Kies -- and it says "connecting" but never connects.
And even if I try the key combo to get to Download Mode or Recovery, it never gets away from that Firmware message.
How can I just get out of that mode?

Hi I am a fairly new member, I have been following different threads for a long time but have recently signed up, so if i am posting in the wrong thread I sincerely apologize. moving on...
I have been using the Aeon 1.4 rom for awhile now and have been loving it. I first downloaded the rom without the stock libs and found that it is much faster than the stock libs rom, even after manually removing most of my stock apps via sd maid pro. But it has been the only way to keep the option to share with FaceBook. and being able to add facebook in my accounts and sync are in system settings. system settings>accounts and sync>add account.
You won't be able to get out of there until you are able to flash with either odin or heimdall.
You may also try a tool called one-click unbrick (google it)

So the terminal adb push worked -- and I installed my ROM (went through all the installation wizard parts, etc.) but now at reboot, I'm still stuck at the Samsung logo.

unfortunately, it stops working at the "clearing interface" stage -- says it failed. And I've changed the cables but still the same result.
You are on the right track... just that something is missing.
Be sure to get rid of kies.
Be sure you have the latest version of Java. http://www.java.com/en/
Use the link in post 13 that psal gave you - read at least posts 1 and 2 all the way through, then go through and perform each step.

so after looking for 3-4 hours i'm convinced that almost all the links for files related to the SK4G are expired/down/DL limit reached. i had to wipe my HDD and can't find my backup anywhere!?!? if anyone has the stock firmwares (any and all) could you pretty pretty please send them to me? i'm stuck in a buggy version of glorious overdose and just need my phone to work right again. respond for e-mail or just post ***NEW*** link in this thread.
P.S. so when the mods say "wrong thread" or "duplicate" i looked i searched and found nothing newer than 2013 so i started a fresh one......... that and i just signed up and it keep telling me "NO" in what seemed like the correct forum.

I have the One-Click KG2 ODIN Java app that may be able to restore your SK to t839-Sidekick4G-UVKG2. Here's the README:
If you brick your phone, well you're lucky because it can't get any easier to fix. This is pretty much a one-click version of ODIN that is OPERABLE AND EXECUTABLE on ANY operating system that has Java installed. Self-explanatory, but if you don't have Java installed yet, you probably should go get it installed now.
(Credits go to Ayoteddy for the following post) :
To get into download mode (if you can't) pull the battery out of your phone, the USB cord (if connected), the SIM card, and the SDCard. Now...in a position where your one hand is able to access the Trackball and - volume key, hold them both at the same time and with your other free hand, insert the battery, after a second or two, you should see an Android on screen with a logo saying DOWNLOADING..you're ready to advance.
After you install Java, double-click the .jar file in this folder.
Hit "flash" and if all is well, it'll work without any hassles and you'll be back to the stock ROM like the day you got your Sidekick (factory reset).
If it says driver was not found, a window will popup with an administrative prompt if you are running Windows 7, allow it to run.
On the new Zadig window, go to Options>List all devices.
You should now see SAMSUNG COMPOSITE DRIVER, make sure the box to the immediate right says WinUSB and then hit the install button.
You should be on stock after performing these steps...if not and YOUR MODEM fails to upload, check "Flash Bootloaders" and the modem should flash just fine and you'll be back on stock ROM soon enough.

Please re-upload these to sammobile.com, samsung-firmware.org, MEGA, Android File Host, or similar where the files can live on longer.
Sorry, I got rid of my SK a couple years ago and all the files that went with it.
