Searched the forums about this and found nothing. After getting the ICS atrix 2 update my phone randomly restarts. It mainly does it when i plug in the USB cable. Any ideas on what could cause this and is anybody else encountering this issue?
I don't have that problem, try factory reset?

Hey guys,
Samsung galaxy s, on the optus network in australia
looked around and couldnt find anything other than a passing mention of this problem.
Baically, i went to upgrade my firmware to 2.2 through kies, when i plug it in, it says that it is downloading the binary files, pauses then a dialogue box comes up saying that there is insufficient battery to run the upgrade. tried it with 2 seperate batteries that were charged only moments before with no change in the result.
so... having not found a solution i figured i would return my phone to factory. just incase there was an issue with some sort of conflict or something. attempted again with the same result.
can someone please help?
Anyone? any ideas at all?
I know I have seen this talked about before but I could not find where. My Transformer started to just restart on it's own 3-4 times a day. Any idea what is causing this or a fix?
I was wondering if anyone else has this issue. Charging my Transformer has always been a little "hinky". Sometimes had to plug in, re-plug to get the charging notification on the screen. This was both with unrooted stock and stock rooted. No custom ROM or kernel. After the ICS update, plugging in the charger does not work at all unless the tablet completely re-boots. I learned this by doing the plug, unplug thing and the tablet re-booted on it's own and started charging. The next day I tried just plugging it in and did not charge until I manually rebooted. Just wondering if I'm alone in this problem or if anyone else has experienced this. Reading the threads I wonder how many people wake up to dead tablets because they never charged in the first place.
Mine has improved actually. Instant recognition of power being plugged in...whereas in HC sometimes...like you said...it took 10 seconds or plug and unplug to get the tablet to register that it needed to start charging.
No problem on my ICS. It's always instantly recognized like the guy above said.
Do factory reset and cold boot.
If rebooting fixes the issue like you said, it's probably because there is some incompatible app causing problems.
So my phone just started freezing randomly and rebooting now out of nowhere I can't turn it on at all. Tried battery pulling and getting into recovery. Nothing works at all. Also, plugged it into the wall charger and no LED light or anything. Seems the phone is absolutely dead. Was running OpenSensation ROM at the time with 3.32 FW. I know this is a reported problem with Sensations. I can't seem to find a resolution (if one exists). Does anyone know what I can try? Although I can't do anything with the phone when I plug it into my laptop via USB the PC sees it as QHSUSB_DLOAD but the driver cannot be found. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm desperate here! Thanks in advance!!

Ok, this is really weird...a few hours later phone turned on...it was like nothing happened. Now, a few hours later phone freezes again and turns off and now I can't turn it back on again!! What is going on here!?
This will solve your problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1622683
I don't recommend the paint or soldering.
Thanks for the suggestion but this did not help at all
So I just put in my insurance claim through Asurion...No Sensation's in stock so they're sending me a Galaxy SII ...I enjoyed my Sensation but I guess it's time to move on now.
Is there no way to recover?
Hi, I'm having problems with getting the phone to supercharge, Im thinking it might be a software issue since sometimes it does supercharge, but most of times i just get normal slow charge, I tried to solve the issue by cleaning the port, rebooting the phone, both didn't work, I have a MHA-L00 with 8.0.0.374, stock rom and locked bootloader, there is any way I could downgrade/upgrade the phone? Or any other suggestion is appreciated
