Hi,this is shubham.i am an android lover.i have a samsung galaxy ace,i use new custom roms developed by xda members everyday..I make a sincere request to the great rom developers please develope a custom rom for galaxy ace which is based on cyanogenmod 7 but having the stock camera and fm radio app...is it possible?...please help...because i really love cm7 for its music enhacement....plz help......

If you want something that's 99% CM and 1% stock then you should really be asking the CM team about it. Sign up to the Cyanogenmod forum and ask there..

i got this phone almost 3 months back and till now am waiting for an ics rom
So if there is any dev who can port an ics rom for this device then i think a lot of ace plus users will be really happy

I have been using GO Launcher EX along with its ICS theme.
It totally gives Ace Plus the ICS look without having to use any custom ROM.

Using go launcher and getting ics is in no way comparable to getting a real ics rom
I hope u do understand what i mean and encourage real developers to port ics roms for our devices
Definitely am waiting for a cm 7.2 or cm 10 port for the samsung galaxy ace plus GT-S7500

I doubt it'll be possible...i had the phone till yesterday...the closest rom to ics was the rom by team cooper which gave it the look,i tried porting ics roms but it just didnt happen...i got really pissed off with the phone and sold it yesterday...if u want u can still use the Alicritious rom by team cooper which kinda has an ics theme,i've changed the settings.apk file and added alotta worthy transitions for the phone...if ur interested in getting ics look use that rom,also pm me if ur looking for a better looking settings.apk i have a modified version which i was supposed to release in the next build but now since i dont have the phone there might not be a next version..

Indeed, Jelly Beam is above us so prepare your phones. Maybe now the Ace Plus will get its own thread and the ICS ROMs will blossom.
Keep in mind that the official update will (in most cases) unroot your phone.

Questions about MIUI v4.1

i am a beginner at Roms and need your help

I read the whole forum to gain knowledge abut the rom,many questions were cleared but there are still so plz anyone help me
Firstly, i am just moving from my rooted stock to this one ...but a question stucked in my mind, am i missing something like some kernel things??
do i need some change in my phone before flashing this ? ( question came as it is based on Ngoralph's MiniCM10 which needs nAa-jb kernel and i don't know what that is.
Secondly about a lock screen bug, do i need to disable that on my very first boot ? as it doesn't work.
Please answer me ASAP :good:

The kernel is included in the Rom...
I'm the same ROM u can change to some other MIUI lockscreen.

sorry but you cant update to jelly bean or ics .
As i dont think that there is any cynogen mod for the device.
But you can install other custom roms and you can get 4.1/2/3 in settings leaving os to be gb.

Yep U can get jb looks
Yes you can get the jb UI but the 4.0+ apps won't work.You can get most of the features of jellybean.
A simple example is Ace 5830i which don't have jb but you can get UI using custom roms.

Sorry but there is no such update.. you can try flashing custom roms if available .

You have to search the internet for a Custom rom or here on XDA.
I recommend XDA since almost every ROM here is stable enough to run on the specific device

What do you mean with done? Like that they stop with making or that the CM can be flashed?

You can check for custom roms on Google and here on XDA ........
if you find one then its nice bt if you can't find one it may be due to lack of developer support....
if your device becomes popular it will surely have many custom roms.......
the best way is to ask any developer to make custom roms ......
and if you want Cyanogen mod better ask at cyanogenmod.org forums.........

there is no cyanogenmod device specific at the website...I've checked earlier..can the galaxy note rom be flashed in this??

Nope....
and never try to flash a ROM meant for other phones as it will Brick you device.....

ROMs for Car install?

I haven't been in this section in a while, still running Romswell ICS (for over a year now, I don't even remember how to flash a ROM on this guy anymore, LOL) but I plan to install the Tab into the dash at some point and one of the guys over at LS1tech has a Nexus 7 with a really well setup ROM and I was wondering is anyone has a ROM like that for the Tab 2 7"?
