Ok first thing first
if you are going to insult me because this is toooooo easy for you then please then move along, I installed ClockworkMod on Tmobile G2X and Samsung Galaxy 4G and it worked great
With that said, I installed ClockworkMod by clicking on the download.bat, the forum is Nvflash unbricking released!
Anyway, with that ClockworkMod I can't read any files in the microSD card or the SDCard in the keyboard
Any help will be MUCH appreciated

No insults, but why would you not post this in Q&A? This is not development related at all. Mods will move it for you.
Now on to the Q&A:
You shouldn't be able to read the SD card in the dock IIRC, but the µSD(MicroSD) in the TF itself is readable, because it's the only way to load update.zips. Have you tested the µSD in a card reader, and is it accessible in Android? Some µSD cards don't show up in Clockword. Try a different card to make sure your CWM install is correct.

I already have Asus Eee Pad Transformer with ClockworkMod 3.2, works great, and Gingerbread 3.2
Anyway, I just think people like you are annoying. I said if you are going to insult me then PLEASE don't type, but there you go, Keyboard Warrior
Anyway, there is a guy that posted a thing that was actually working, System.dmg and everything
I think it's useful to teach to other people, but in the spirit of this forum, 99% of questions are stupid, so I'm getting the hell out of here because of smart @sses like you

CWM Recovery has support for the various storage locations "hard-coded" into the image. That's why you see differnt versions for different devices. If you look through the Transformer development forum, you'll find several tweaked Recovery images that support the internal flash, MicroSD slot, dock SD slot, USB slot, etc.
I'd love to see CWM Recovery with dynamic storage support, so you could backup to or restore from whatever's plugged into your device.
Had same problem. Formatted the card in my android phone and it worked after that

I haven't read too much on the install process, but if I understand correctly it replaced recovery by flashing a kernel to it. Is there any particular reason that we can't use something akin to RecoveryInstaller to install an Ubuntu kernel that will read off of our Micro SD card partitions since it still installs an image to recovery?

It doesnt read off the micro sd it reads off internel sd
B80 B90's dont have nvflash nvflash is used to re partition the internal memory to make enough room for the ubuntu install aswell as other things
On a b80-b90 you can do chroot ubuntu through a micro sd and vnc viewer but its slow same with replacing the recovery and reading it from micro sd the method you are talking about has been done through flashing .zips to acces ubuntu or android but it was slow and not as safe.

Why not make a kernel that mounts the micro sd card as the system then and flash that kernel to recovery? Surely it's possible.
it's of no great importance, through explore we can make the home for the SD.

Why not flash the Ubuntu kernel over the Android kernel then if you only want to run Ubuntu on your transformer? You get to keep recovery and the Android system is still there in the event you want to flash an Android kernel to return to the stock system.
I need some help, stupid me put the files i need to flash custom rom on my sd card and when i went to install the zip it was not there, its not my sd card at all. Is there anyway to get those files back on the internal storage instead of my sd card or is there a way to access the actual sd card in cwm? If not is there a way to do a factory reset back to the factory rom?

Don't panic, all hope is not yet lost and I don't think you've bricked your device. Can you describe in more detail the exact steps you took? When you say 'sdcard' do you mean your external SD card or the tablets' internal memory (its called /sdcard on the tablet, so its a bit confusing).
There is absolutely ways to recover your tablet assuming you took the proper precautions beforehand. Before I give an answer (assuming my knowledge is even correct) can you give more details of your setup? Which recovery do you have? Which ROM do you have installed? Is your bootloader unlocked? Are you rooted? All of these answers will give more information and will guide you to a better answer.

This is what happened, today i unlocked, rooted and then installed CWM. I followed steps to format my device from this forum post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1750861. OK so you're not bricked, you're not messed up at all. CWM doesn't support flashing from external SD cards, so all you need to do is move the files to the /(root) directory of your tablet. Are you still able to boot up the tablet normally? If so, connect it to your computer with the USB cable (assuming you've got the correct drivers installed, and ADB/fastboot both work) and just copy the files to the first directory you see when you double click "internal storage". This will be the root directory of your tablet. From there, you should be able to just boot into CWM and it will show your ROM there.
I'll be actively monitoring this thread so if you have any questions feel free to continue to post. I know how frustrating it is to post a question and not get an answer until days later.
*EDIT* ok so I just noticed one thing: you're trying to install the Hydro rom, correct? So you need to go back to STOCK using this guide. Then, re-install CWM, re-root your tablet, and then try to install the Hydro rom.

Then the next logical step will be to diagnose whether you have the drivers installed correctly. Do you have the Android SDK pack installed? It comes with some google drivers, and there is an aftermarket driver file that helps the computer recognize a larger variety of devices. Follow the steps in this thread to get those drivers working. If those don't work, try install the official Asus Pad suite drivers.

Hmm, I'm running out of suggestions since I'm still learning all this stuff too. I guess since you can't get past the Asus screen it won't detect in the computer. So the next step I can suggest is to get fastboot mode working. Do this by powering your tablet off. To get into fastboot mode, press and hold the POWER & VOLUME DOWN buttons simultaneously. It'll show some words about booting into recovery, don't do that. Just wait for a few logos, then select the middle one (USB icon) with the VOLUME UP key. Connect your tablet to your computer and you should be recognized to allow you to push files over (I don't know what the syntax is for fastboot but I'm sure it won't be difficult to figure out)

adb push any rom to the internal memory. if you can't do it in windows try a ubuntu live cd, you won't get errors in adb while using linux.

That's a good plan. When I flash a new ROM, I always make sure I have at least one known-working ROM and at least one nandroid backup just in case.
Also, just as an organization suggestion, name the ROM folder something like "1-ROMs" or "All ROMS" or something else at the beginning of the alphabet so it appears at the top of the list when you're choosing a zip to flash. I personally use "1-ROMs", "2-Kernels" and "3-Extras", so they're the first three folders listed (Extras is for Gapps, mods, other flashables). It saves a lot of scrolling time.

You were able to return it?? Amazing attitude ASUS has over there. You weren't charged for repair at all?
I did a similar thing on workmate's tablet as he asked me to flash him custom os. I installed TWRP recovery successfully and copied firmware I wanted to install on internal SD. Then I wiped DATA. I thought it would wipe only user data, but it wiped also the root of my SD card with firmware. Before that I wiped system as well. So now I'm stuck at ASUS logo after power up.
I will try methods that were described in the thread by opethfan89 and atomicblue with adb push and Linux after I come back from vacation (14th this month). Hopefully I will be able to save the tablet. Otherwise it'll have to be sold for spare parts as ASUS quoted over 300 € (about $400) for repairs claiming the warranty is void (which I know) as I unlocked bootloader. They said they won't even try flashing it but they'll just replace motherboard as they never repair unlocked devices. I can't imagine car service refusing to change oil claiming they are concerned that owner might have abused it and they'd rather change whole engine instead.
I would like to boot linux off my phone(plug it into computer, restart computer, boot linux on computer live from phone) to do so I need a partition of my phone to show up as a usb/mass storage device. How can I do this/Is this possible?
Thanks.

You may be able to partition your SD card and have that partition be marked as bootable. Tread carefully though if you value the data you have on your phone as anything like partitioning and messing with what's bootable may send you straight to Odin or cause you to reformat your card (or even mess up your phones partition table).
If I recall correctly you should be able to partition your card in cwm or rom manager. That would be a good place to start.
BTW, you may want to clarify your question. On my first couple of read throughs I thought you wanted to boot Linux on your phone. You want a live usb stick kind of thing, correct. Would be kind of cool for fixing messed up computers on the go.

I think the problem would lie around the fact that the gs3 doesn't natively support UMS. If the files are on the ext sd card for the live version than the next step is getting UMS to work. Ever since JB has been released for the s3 I haven't been able to get it to work

I have searched absolutely everywhere but to no avail. Is it possible to dual boot two custom ROMs on the tf700? I have been racking my brains to think of a solution but i just can't seem to think of anything. I have a dual boot on my Galaxy S2 so it is quite sad my tf700 doesn't seem to be able to. It is nice having cleanROM but paranoid android would be good to have as well without constantly restoring between the two. And I didn`t really like native ubuntu. Any ideas? And thanks for taking the time to read.

Yes - one on internal storage, one on the microSD - with a slightly modified version of my Data2SD auto-detection script.
I did think about MicroSD but I wasn't sure how to go about it. I will look in to it asap. Thank you.

The most different ROMs that I dual-booted were CROMI 3.x (Android 4.1-based) on internal storage, and stock ASUS Android 4.2 on the microSD - both using the same kernel with some early ramdisk patches using my preinit script method.
The basic idea of my dual-boot solution is:
- microSD with 3 partitions:
- - partition 1: FAT32 as usual (rest)
- - partition 2: ext4 for second /data (min. 4 GB, more if you want more space )
- - partition 3: ext4 for second /system (~ 800 MB to 1 GB)
- Kernel with preinit support
- microSD auto-detection via preinit script in internal /system
- If microSD with 3 partitions is detected, copy ramdisk files for external ROM from /system/boot/rootfs_ext into /
The ramdisk files for the external ROM must of course be modified to use the mount points on the external card (fstab.cardhu and init.cardhu.rc) - similar to Data2SD, just also with /system mounted to mmcblk1p3.
I've never tried it with AOSP- or CM-based ROMs yet (time constraints) - for these you'll likely have to also add the kernel modules to the external /system/lib/modules and appropriate insmod commands to some init.rc files.
Another tricky part is how to get the ROM to the external card. The easiest way is to have it installed on internal storage and then use adb shell in the recovery to copy it over using "cp -a".
Thanks a lot man. Quite new to this all just started using adb the other day. Got a few days until my micro SD gets here so I will read up on it all. Thank you again.

You can dual boot cromi 3.4.7 and ubuntu as it only works on the old 4.1.1 bootloader.
