My country too .

Even if you can bring up the learning hub, if you're rooted it automatically closes "due to copyright", and also as your country isn't supported it will close. Tried by flashing a UK rom onto my note. Has it but won't allow me to use it...
Shame as it would be a good distraction for my young nephew...

On my tab 10.1 i use marked unlocker (removed from android market ) to fake uk provider and enable this apps but you need root
Here itis the app http://db.tt/rh64Cyzu now wating for the apks themself . buy the way what other hubs avaliable on the uk rom
Sent from my GT-N8000 using xda app-developers app
I believe it was the music, video, learning and game hubs. Wasn't really paying attention as was only interested in the learning hub. As it wouldn't work I reflashed back to another rom pretty quick....
set your note's country to another country and switch off your gps not sure if it will work for you but it worked for me
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Well that sux, what happens if you go on a holiday overseas and want to use the learning hub... You have to turn off the GPS, and lets face it, that's when you need it most...

hey, i live in Faroe Islands, and i can't see the paid apps on the marketplace, which really sucks..
is there any way to change this ?
thanks from Thetmac
Yes of course, if you have root access. use the app called market enabler and set it to t-mobile. be sure to back up your default setting though.

I am not going to root my phone or doing anything risky things to it... I want to do it safely... thanks
Sent from my HTC Legend using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
There is no other way, sadly. You either root your phone and get apps, or you wait until Google enables paid apps in your country (which could be a very, very long time).
I see everyone referring to it all the time, but I have no idea where it is.
It's no where to be found on my stock T-Mobile Tab.
Do I have to download it from somewhere? Couldn't find it anywhere.
Its just called Samsung Apps. Have you done a manual update since you got your Tab? Sometimes thats caused apps to go missing until a factory reset.

Nope. Haven't updated it at all, says there's no updates available. It was activated at the store before I bought it, maybe they updated it?
So if I factory reset it, then update it again, wouldn't I lose the app again?
How would I update it and keep "Samsung Apps"?
I don't think the USA based Tabs have access to the Samsung App Store.
I would like to know also if this is not true.

Erm, thats basically what Samsung Apps is. AFAIK, every Galaxy phone has it and ot provides apps made for the phones.

can someone post the app, let's see if it works.
Well it looks like the first app appeared for me... Blinx beat... I was hoping for asphalt... But who doesn't appreciate there little doesn't deserve the good... Patience is the key here
I believe this did get left out of the north american tabs, at least the t-mo. Mine did not come with it. I also did not get any stock e-reader apps I see others with. Nothing for books our magazines. I did get the media hub put it was promptly removed after root. I also work for tmo and our official documentation says nothing about these apps.

Generalistic and wrong statement.
EU tabs come with it
I purchased my device from Orange Austria. Also on my Tab some Apps were missing (as far as I remember Samsung Apps, Ebookreader, calculator)
It seems that the tabs sold through providers are limited.
I have flashed latest firmware and now have all apps. But in Samsung Apps nothing is shown. Is there anything I can change to make it work?

Ah.
I always hear people refer to how much better the Facebook app is in their app store, and other free apps that I never knew how to access.
I wish we could get the apk for the Samsung app store, or for these free apps.

Verizon tab
I have a Verizon Tab and I was wondering the same thing. Everyone is talking about getting the free need for speed game and I can't get it because I don't have the Samsung Apps. Very frustrating! You would think when you spend $600 for an oversized phone that it would at least come with a few more apps. Don't get me wrong I think the tab is pretty cool but when you get down to it this thing is really nothing more than a big Android phone with the phone part. I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of tab specific apps.
yes please someone post this apk because i would like it as well
Anyone managed to use smart remote app with a sky box? There doesn't seem to be an option to select it?
Bump. No body? Or at least some alternative software.
The stock app doesn't support sky BOX's.Ive emailed the developer but they haven't bothered to reply.
Ive tried touch squid from the app Store the demo wm only allow you to turn devices on and off, the full price program is about £13!
Ive tried the demo and it turns the SKY box on and off ok but Im not sure if I want to risk buying the app & not all functions work

Tried the demo app on my grundig sky box, didnt work, although power toggle test did work on my xbox, would be nice to have an app to control ALL my ir devices, would be even better if it was a floating app too

Hi,
I recently bought Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. This is an amazing tablet but I am missing only one feature. This is the Samsung eBook reader. Does anyone has any idea how do I get a working version of this eBook Application in my new tablet.
Regards,
Anuj

Did you try the Samsung app store? And put it in the search. If you don't find it there, try Samsung support on their website.

I had the the same problem on my galaxy tab 7.7. Finally I found a working version here, on XDA, but I cannot remember where.
Just make a search, you'll find it. (filename: com.samsung.ebook.reader-2-1.2.20120531.apk)
cheers
Have you not tried the reader hub? It's working for me
I can't install Reasers Hub from Samsung Apps on my Tab 10.1. It's not there. If I go to SamsungApps website - it's there. But not from the Tab itself. The website says it's not compatible with the Tab. How do you install it? The old eBooks app stopped working after the ICS update.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1477977
Thanks, I saw that one. But it says it's for Honeycomb, maybe won't work on ICS. But the main thing, it's about a year old. Sammy updated the app this summer. That's why I didn't try that one.

Thanks for your reply... Reader's hub is good. But the problem is I am having eBooks in my tablet and I am not able to import in Reader's hub / My education. It is only asking me to purchase the books. Is it not any other way so that I can import these books.
Please guide.
Here you go...
You will have to load your books to dropbox and open them from there....

Any know how to update the Photoshop Touch app that came preinstalled?
The play store shows there was an update on Sept 5th but I have no option to update because it is not showing as installed and $9.99 to buy.
I checked the Samsung app store thinking maybe i had to update there, like i have to do specifically for all the faotd from Amazon, but the PST app isnt even listed in Samsung market.
Confused.....

Same thing I've been questioning there is a lot of programs that came installed and nor in Google market or Samsung market gets

The app is customised for the GN 10.1 so most likely Samsung would need to push it out via Google Play like with their other apps. Best to pose the question with Samsung.
not so much that it's customized for the gn10.1 but that it's licensed to only be used by your gn10.1.
if it were available through any market i'm pretty sure they'd be violating some kind of license they have with adobe as you'll then be able to install it on any device linked to the account.
It gets updated when updates come for the Note itself. And update to JB will surely update it as well.

Just make sure you put the pen against or close to the screen before you rest your palm against it and you should be fine.

Hi,
Photoshop is amazing for photos, coloring etc., but in my experience it's not good for drawing.
Try Scketchbook pro, layerpaint (palm rejection can be configured and it's very good), tv paint (beta) etc.
You can draw and color at one of those then add effects in photoshop.
