Internet connectivity issues after Google+ - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hi,
I have 2 HTC One XL (Telstra) devices and I seem to have found that after installing Google+ I seem to have internet connectivity issues, either the Data is always "turning on" but never getting there.
It also seems to impact on wifi also.
Anyone else see these tupes of issues?

No problems here. Idk why an app would keep you from connecting to data. That's a network thing.
Happens on both?
If so its gotta be just coincidence and its the network or where you're at.

AR 5.1.9 Wifi Problem

When I'm on wifi my phone won't load any websites, the xda website won't load, neither will Google or any others. I knew there was a wifi problem with 5.1.8 so I waited for 5.1.9. Anyway can anyone tell Mike1986 about this problem because I don't have enough posts to ask him myself or better yet, could anyone give me a fix.

Sometime mine won't load on WiFi but corrects itself with a restart.

I am not sure what this problem is, but I've been running 5.1.8 since the day it was out, and even as I am typing this, and well, no wifi problems so far whatsoever.
There you go, it is supposed to be the wifi fix for AR 5.1.8
Wifi fix from AR 5.1.9
It looks like the only difference is the addition of this line in the file " system/etc/calibration "

I will have to say though, that I still have wifi issues despite implementing every fix I have found in these forums and trying multiple radios.
If I leave the phone on overnight, I always have to turn the wifi off and back on to get a connection, otherwise it seems to be connected but is not.
I also have terrible wifi reception. Sitting at the same spot in a cafe with my laptop and my phone shows a world of difference. I can pick up 6 AP's from my laptop but only see one on the phone.
Am running Cingular's OTA radio 26.06.06.30_M with HTC-RIL 2.2.0131HM
Thanks for the help everyone, the restart method solved it. Also is anyone having camera problems. When I record a video and play back it skips and its really starting to get annoying.

WiFi connection issues

I've been noticing a lot of dropped connections while on wifi. The most noticeable issue is that the phone will not connect on a network that has been previously established. This happened before rooting and still after rooting.
Anyone else having these same issues? my wife also has the Blaze and she has no issues connecting to the same networks.

I don't have this problem at all. Might just be a bad unit.
Seems isolated to your phone since your wife's has no problem. Exchange it?
I hope I can... Just gotta unroot now :-(

[Q] Tango App Video Freezing

Just wondering if anyone has tried Tango on their phone? I can see people but they say I freeze within seconds of picking up...
Anyone else noticed this?
Thanks.
I use Tango regularly and haven't run in to this. Week signal possibly?

Strangely, it works fine over 3G but as soon as I enable WiFi people can no longer see me!
You have a good wifi signal I assume? Try resetting your router.

Different WiFi problem?

My WiFi connection always says it's full but it takes longer than on 3g to load. I'm not even on hspa and it's faster than the WiFi. Yet when I do a speed test for the WiFi it's great. Anyone else have this problem or is this the same WiFi problem as before?

Facebook has actually been pretty good. It's the browsers that give me trouble. I got a different modem and router but I don't remember if it was doing it before that.

I think that's a Facebook problem. I've had the same message on a couple of phones I own.

I get that alot, and it is truly annoying. I'm an android noob/apple convert and one of the biggest android quirks for me is that if wi-fi is "connected" the apps won't fall back to 4g if the wi-fi craps out. If i have 5 bars of 4G don't ****ing tell me I have no connection, use the 4G.

Exact same thing here.
I actually see my wifi bars go down to zero bars and come back up to full bars while browsing. I did a speed test and it slows the speed when it goes to zero or one bars. I tried to squeeze the phone between the camera and the volume rocker but it doesn't seem to fluctuate much by squeezing. Anybody else experience this? I'm on sick sense rom.

This is really starting to piss me off. I try loading a PhoneDog.com page and the loading bar just sits a 3/4 forever. After a long while it'll say something like connection timed out. I wish I knew if it was my router causing it or the phone. I'm thinking the phone because it did it in the previous one.

[Q] Serious WiFi problem with AT&T One X

I just got this phone from AT&T yesterday, everything else is fine, but I just can't connect to the WiFi network. I can scan it, and the signal strength is normal, but everytime I try to connect, the signal suddenly drops to nothing, and it stucks at a connect-disconnected-scan-connect loop. I've already tried flashing the latest RUU (which they say it solves some of the WiFi problems) and read hundreds of threads and articles about this, I JUST CANNOT FIND A CASE SIMILAR TO ME.
Any ideas? This is so annoying because the laptop beside my gets full signal and my EVO 3D gets full too, but One X AT&T just...... Awwwwww any ideas??? 4G LTE is perfectly fine.
Sounds like you typed in the wrong password.

What router are you connecting to?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
What radio are you using? If you are rooted and bl unlocked, you could flash the 2 09 radio that is on the devs section. If however you are stock and have no desire to root etc .. you could try restarting your phone, and your router. Also, you could try forgetting the network that you want to connect to, then try joining. I remember having this problem when I got my hox, and tgat did the trick for me.

Is the SSID hidden?
This prevented me from using my home network, and even caused the phone to reboot instantly upon connecting.
Try WPS (I think WiFi protected setup) if it is a newer router. The jist of it is you push a button on your router then select WPS on your one x and it gives you 90 seconds to connect without a password.

Exchange it. Sounds like my issue I had. But mine father trying to connect could not see any networks till I turned wifi on and off.
Restart your router.... Solved it when mine was doing the same.
