Hi everyone
I am a bit puzzled with wallpapers for the TF700, most of the ones that you download seem to get cut off. I recently downloaded the "wallpaper bay for tablet" app and all the wallpapers from the app fit great on the TF700 and dont get cut off at all. But i restarted my tablet just now and the wallpaper has resized itself and is cut off.
Is there a way around this? How do you get wallpapers to fit on the TF700 without having to crop it?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank You

Thank you!!!! But is that app glitched? cant seem to select single pictures as a source, so i had to create a new folder and place my wallpaper file in there.

Hi,
i've got tones of wallpaper, most of them from this forum (even wallpapers hd packs), but what's the easiest and correct way to put a wallpaper that looks good?
that thing with selecting a small area from the big picture instead of using the beautiful picture im viewing, causes my transformer to show some ugly pixelized picture...
i dont mind that i will have the exact same picture on any home screen instead of this long scrolling all over my screens.
i just cant stay with the those asus default wallpapers that by the way are the only ones that i can see ok.
thanks.
I actually didn't knew that there is another way... I'll be glad to hear it... thanks...

amazing!
well, it worked!
but now....if i may ask...
what's the best way to put only one picture (like in the stock wallpaper) that can be scrolled for all over my home screens.
now its working perfectly with the same pic in each home screen or different pictures.
and thanks!
Glad it worked out for you guys.
Thnx was looking for this as wel. Still finding new thing I would like ot change about the way things work but this is again a good step in the direction.
When I try to make a custom picture my wallpaper it zooms in on it for some reason. It does not show the area I cropped out. Any help?

try setting the wallpaper via one of these free apps.
The correct resolution for wallpapers is not 1280x800. The wallpaper has to scroll. The correct resolution is 1920x1408.
This was exactly the problem. Thanks!

I am using jelly bean and if you go to live wallpaper and select Asus my frame, you can enable scrolling wallpaper under setting.
Enjoy
Thanks. It only works with myframe though.
So technically you could have any static wallpaper (image of your choice) here with scrolling, but no live wallpaper scrolling....
I miss that feature...

I reported this while ago.
Thanks for the finding. This is a feature I have been missing and it seems that this is working quite smoothly like this. No idea why they hide it like this. Static wallpaper just looks so..static..
Chances are an effort by google to reduce memory usage. Scrolling wallpapers take a lot more meory than static ones. Scrolling live wallpapers take up MUCH more than scrolling pictures. In the constant fight for battery life and speed it was probably nerfed. Too bad they didnt leave it as an option.
This feature should have never gone away. I do remember this being a feature of the Transformer Prime when I first got it and it had Honeycomb 3.2 running on it, but once ICS dropped, ASUS removed the feature, or probably never added it back.
Day Scene
Day Scene is way cool
give it 24 hours you'll never go back . . .
All the play store apps suck! What does everyone use for nice wallpapers?

I use Zedge. Kind of like the overall look of the app, and it also provides for some good ringtones.
Can you just download regular HD desktop wallpaper.
Copy them over to the tablet (put in the directory where wallpapers are stored) and use them that way?

I use PicSpeed Wallpapers on both tablet and phone.
I think the exact size for a full-res wallpaper on a tablet with 1280x800 resolution is 1920x1408, so use that res in your search criteria. The wallpapers have to be bigger than the screen resolution so they can scroll, and work in portrait mode.
+1 for Zedge. I use it on my phone and tablet. I get quite a few from the internet too. A search for HD wallpapers usually produces a few good wallpapaers when you are specific on what you want.

Best wallpaper site on the web: wallbase.cc/search
those apps are all useless (wallbase has one too by the way)
p.s. use "image 2 wallpaper" app on Google play to set the wallpapers as background...the default imageviewer "galery" is a horrible app.
I like http://digitalblasphemy.com/
Take a look at http://digitalblasphemy.com/ I have thought seriously about a subscription to have full access to the art there.
Cheers,

I have been having great luck with UCCW on my phone. Is there an app similar for tablet size widgets?

Not really (that I know of) but cool tablet widget are:
- HD Widgets (weather/clock/quick toggles),
- EyeInSky (weather)
- (I like stock widgets )
UCCW should work fine on a tablet (just like pretty much every widget), but it will not look great most of the time.
