have you tried to wipe phone from recovery?

I can not going to recovery mode.,
how to hard reset my motoroi if it bootloop???

http://code.google.com/p/miui-xt720/
Go this address you will find what you need to get your phone unbootloop.

I have bricked 2 XT720 so far - my phones would just freeze (after froyo instalation) and there was no way that I could them unbrick (I tried everything)
only thing I can think of that problem might be is root method
have you rooted your phone with superoneclick, or with something else?

Well is your milestone xt720 if so after flashing motorio 2.2 sbf it will bootloop you.
You needed to go to stock recovery and do a hard reset.
If you talking our 2.2 you should not bootloop you.
Be more clear on your problem.

force closes is showing if you haven't wiped partitions from recovery
to do so:
Turn off phone
Press Power key + Camera Key + GalleryKey to power on the phone and bring up the recovery screen
When the Triangle/Exclamation point screen appears, press Volume Up + Gallery Key down and tap the camera key to show the recovery menu.
When the recovery window appears, use the volume up/down keys to navigate the menu and the camera key to enter your selection.
Select Wipe data/factory reset
Select Reboot Phone

You'll have to do a emergency reset using the LG Mobile support tool (don't know how it's called in English, sorry)

Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2144738
and this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2190261
I read in the comments that this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2144738 doesn't support Froyo! And the second guide requires to reboot in recovery, but my phone when i try the key combination for recovery the screen check out striped blue! I try the LG Mobile Support tool, but doesn't recognize the phone, it stopped at 4%. In download mode the pc recognize the phone...

Does indeed, I had brought to life my good ole O3D, rooted it with KingoRoot, then ran CWR, clean install.
All was fine but wanting more, I tried to upgrade to ICS with Rom Manager and that bricked the phone.

Stuck on System Recovery Screen

Few days back I flashed my phone with stock Rom GB using Odin. I only uploaded PDA file ,as I red procedure given on some website. After that it says following and not going to download mod.
Android system recovery <3e>
Samsung Recovery Utils
- for BML -
Enter: OK Key, Select: Vol UP / Vol Down
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
# Manual Mode#
The only buttons that do anything are the volume/arrow keys. If I press the power button, the Samsung logo shows up, but then it comes back to this screen. Same thing if I take the battery out.
Any ideas what button(s) will let me select one of the options?some one to put me right .thanks
Sounds like you need to put it back into download mode and reflash stock if you are in a recovery loop.
To enter download mode: pull the battery. replace battery. Hold down volume up and volume down simultaneously and connect via USB to your computer.

I've had this happen before. Just use volume up/down to select "wipe data/factory reset" and press the power button. After that, select "reboot system now" and push the power button again. Your phone should be fine. If it doesn't work, you can always try using the Heimdall One-Click in the dev forum to go to stock Gingerbread.

give me a hand over here, i just installed the cm10 in my aurora, surprise the device turn on but i cant use the touchscreen and i cant go to cwm i dont know why, please help me i love my tablet .....sorry for my english
Wipe data and cache and then reboot. You might need to format and then remount system and then reflash the zip after wiping data/cache if that doesn't work.

You'll have to look up directions for that online. I've never even heard of your phone. If you can get into stock recovery then wipe everything and start over.

Let's hope the recovery method is the same as the newer version.
Found it here.
Here are the directions:
First of all, here is how to enter Recover Mode:
- Shut down your tablet if you have not done so
- Press and hold Volume Minus button
- Still holding Volume Minus button, hold the Power button
- When the screen displays the Android logo, release Power button but still holding on to the Volume Minus button
- After some time you will the recovery mode logo of an Android with molecules-like structures in its body, you can then release all buttons
- Wait a while more and you will enter Recover Mode, it says Android System recover on the top left
Looks similar to my Samsung one.
Problem solved guys
Thank you

My gs2 did that. I just clicked an option and when the text went away I pressed back and tried again. After a few tries, it enabled everything and I could use CWM.

You could just try reflashing the recovery

[Q]

Hi all
my P6800 is acting up and I could use some help.
Not sure if something broke due to a fall or maybe it's a software/setting issue but here is what's going on:
- the power button seems to have taken the volume up functionality. sometimes it feel like it's doing both (i.e. volume up and power pressed together) because when I reset I sometimes get to the android recovery page (where you can reboot, update from storage, wipe everything, etc.)
- when I connect it to the charger it keeps going to the lock screen (i.e. I unlock it and after 2 seconds it goes back to the lock screen). it's working fine if I unplug it
Now, I figured I might as well wipe it clean and install the new JB (currently on ICS) but it's very hard to get to the download screen without a being able to hold the power button (for the power+volume down combo).
I did manage to get to it once (I was randomly rebooting while pushing different things) but I can't manage to do it again
so my questions for the pros out there are:
- Any idea how can I resolve the button functionality?
- Is there an alternative way to get to the download screen? I can live without the power buttom if it's a hardware malfunction but I want to at least do it with JB...
thanks
O
If you are rooted, try the app "RebootMenu" free from Google Pay
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.riceknight.gs2reboot&hl=en
There are others too
Edit: If you are still unable to select anything in recovery (power button issue), instal TWRP recovery instead of CWM

I can select stuff in the recovery menu. pressing the power button goes one up and selects (which is consistent of it acting as both power and volume up)
Not rooted at the moment but might try it
thanks

Until OP replies, just a guess ....
1. Root from stock 3e recovery (Chainfire method) power button acting as both vol up+ power
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849235
2. Installed reboot app
3. Booted into DL mode and flashed JB with Odin
4. re-root by same method (if root lost during flash)

Yeap, exactly.
Didn't do #4 yet though. I thought that method (without CWM recovery) didn't work for JB

Not sure about JB, but
With Mobile Odin Pro app you can flash firmware straight from your rooted device and option to retain root.
No need for DL mode
