Hi all. I have just bought the Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 tablet. Its a great 7 inch tablet and the best part is that it supports dual sim for data connectivity.
Here's a link for the product page:
http://www.lenovo.com/products/us/tablet/ideatab/a-series/a2107/
I want to bring this new device to everyone's attention and hope there are devs that can work on rooting it and cook roms for it.
would love to have the JB update as its comes with ICS
Thanks, but better service in the Device forums, good luck with the JB. Thank You & Thread Closed.

This is one of the many reasons why before modifying anything you need to do a backup. Now unfortunately there is nothing available in terms of device support for this tablet. You can register and ask your question here
However, you will likely need to keep searching for the stock rom for this. Perhaps a good starting point would be to check the eom's site
Good luck
Greetings xda forum goers:
As the title suggest I have an Acer Iconia A500 that I purchased a few months back second hand. Well folks I really need your help and I'm at my wits end about this. To cut right to the chase my tab is running Android 3.1 Build Number Acer_A500_4.010.13_COM_GEN2 and I'd like to update it to something more recent 4.4 or 5 even would be great but I'd gladly settle for 4.0 even as well. I can't update through the tablet as some of you may be aware Acer no longer provides support for this otherwise awesome tablet and attempting to update yields the "Network Coverage is Poor" error. Is there a something I can download and run as a standalone update? Or do I have to root it? I'm a technician but am very much new to roots and not that familiar with tablets in general. Clear instructions and any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you so much!
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Everything you need to know about your device is in this section:
Acer Iconia A500
There are several ROMs available in the development section.
Thread closed, thanks.
Good day ladies and gentlemen.
I am a Lenovo tab A7-20f user I know it's not even a mid range tab but it does the works for me and didn't break my bank.
When bought this tab I came to the XDA to check some cool stuffes for this particular device and I got disappointed because nothing was related to this device. Until now there is no custom recovery or a custom ROM for this device. All I can see the custom ROM and custom recovery for Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 & Tab 2 A7-30.
I don't know why there many users (tab-A7-20f) were abandoned and nobody cares no developer cared about us. No body spend a 30 minutes to do something for this device. I can see when I google the device it bring us to Russian forum and they also helpless they only have stock roms 4.4.2 & 5.0 (not working)
Guys if there is one developer if he seeing this if he really needs to help us pleasedo something for our device my device feels like an orphan.
Hi there and welcome to assist,
Unfortunately there is nothing about your question on XDA forum. Try a Google search first.
Good luck
I am trying to install a custom ROM on this old tablet Lenovo B8080 which also goes by a really confusing name Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+.
However, the few forum posts I find are outdated, or the resources download page are expired, or the tablet is confused with Yoga Tab 2 or 3.
This model cannot even be found on the XDA forums.
In short, does anybody know what customs ROMs are compatible with this weird tablet B8080?
up,
searching also newer rom for this.
Since there are similar models to your device, you can try porting a ROM for it. Porting is basically editing a ROM made for another device to fit your device. Know that it is dangerous, and could potentially brick your tablet. Be careful, and good luck!
Hello, this is my first post on the XDA forums! I've recently bought a tablet, the Asus ZenPad z8s (P00J). I'm looking to give this tablet a second life by installing a lightweight version of Android, upgrading in the process. Searching on Google and there isn't much to work with. Looking at other XDA forums there is the ZenPad 8 and that specific tablet has loads of support. Not sure if they can work interchangeably. Any advice? Please let me know. Thank You!
Already running on Android Oreo, the latest available for this tablet?
