Hey, I was reading up on how to change the graphics of Asphalt 7 to look like they should, but everytime I change them in the DeviceConfig file it needs to re-download it and nothing changes. Anyone figured out how to edit it for the 1.0.1 Gameloft store version?
Did overpay on it, 4.99 but I DID get Modern Combat 3 for free with it, which to my knowledge is unavailable to us Atrix 2 owners otherwise
From what I've read, the modded file needs to be the *exact* size as the one that's being replaced. You can achieve that by adding/removing comments in the file (anything in between xml/html comment tags)
Otherwise, I can't really help because I have the playstore version

Yep, I found that out after posting that. Did you modify/get a modified device config? If yours is modified could you post it/pm it to me? It's a bit too tedious for me.

I have heard a lot of people asking for specific .apk files like Zinio or EA Games which they accidentally deleted off their phones. I have not seen links given so I am putting a zip file of my links which I backed up before deleting.

Odd, I'm getting "This version of the application is no longer supported. Please upgrade to the latest version of the Zinio app." when signing into the Zinio app.

You need the "ZinioSettingsProvider" apk to be installed as well (included in the package tweezit uploaded). I've re-uploaded both seperately:

I have a friend's HTC Inspire 4G, he wanted me to install Shadowgun, which I did. I downloaded the 1.1.0 APK version. When I executed it, it began to download the required data and when it finish I began to play. Everything worked perfect, but when I reset the phone, the game ask me for download the data again... and when I check the

I can't remember the exact name. The thing is that folder have 1GB of data... meaning the Shadowgun data is really there. So I have no idea why the game ask me for download again.

Dude I said I play the game without problems, however when I reset the phone I ask me to download the data again. I guess if I play it, then it's not corrupted data.

it can still have a file corruption, wasnt trying to be mean to you. just saying its probably the easiest thing to try first before delving deeper into it. i did search around and went through market comments looking for a similar problem and couldnt find any. so that brought me to the conclusion that theres possibly something wrong with the apk. one flipped bit in a file can show at install or it could keep u from viewing the ending of a game.
at first i thought maybe you got the THD version of it but seeing as that one was 1.0.1 and you mentioned you had 1.1.0 that wasnt the case. Got to start somewhere with troubleshooting
Question...where did you download shadowgun from? If you did from the market then try emailing the devs. The contact info will be on the market page for shadowgun.
If you downloaded it from another place, and did it for free, please stop asking for help. That is a paid app. You should not be able to receive help here on xda for paid apps that were pirated.

OK I know it's not a corrupted APK because in my Galaxy S II (i9100) I have the same APK with the same data, and it goes like heaven, so I don't know.

I believe this same (edited) post asking for data files, was deleted from the General forum earlier.
And the same outcome. It is strictly against XDA rules, to ask for or condone the practice of sharing PAID Apps. Violations result in infraction points, and ultimately a ban from XDA.
Whether you paid for the app, is not a concern. In this case, your first avenue is the Dev of the program. NOT asking members to upload data files. You KNOW the rules, paid app or not.
I should hope I won't need to post again on this topic.

hi, its my first time here in the forum and i have read your problem with shadowgun.. i have also htc inspire phone installed with shadow gun.. i got this in android.mob.org at first, i downloaded this game in the torrent but i came up with the same problem with you. so here what you are going to do
1. download shadowgun to the mentioned site(put the cache file of the game into any folder of ur device but do not put it directly to sdcard/android/data/ bcoz at first launch it will be deleted)
2. then install apk
3. set your phone to airplane mode
4. then run the game
5. then press begin download (it will show some unknown javascript and let it
6. minimize the game.. do not close
7. copy the the files inside the com.madfingergames.shadowgun folder into the sdcard/android/data there is already a folder there with the same name with that folder.
8. open the minimized game shadowgun and it will now run smoothly
i hope it helped...

This is not extra special news for most, but of users in Oz, the game was not available due to ridiculous country restrictions. Now it is available.
If anyone knows how if I can back it up and use it on my other devices (other than Samsung) I'd be grateful to know how.

Oh that's right you guys have problems with violent video games dont you? I can assure your government that video games do not make you violent.
To answer your original question if you use it on a rooted device you may be able to rip the apk file of the device and transfer it to something else, but i don't know if it would work. Its just a thought. I don't know if i can link to such things (so i wont) but google dead space apk.

It's obvious that video games don't affect our behaviour. I mean, if they did, we'd all be running around in dark rooms, listening to repetitive electronic music and munching on pills, wouldn't we?

if you have not used a curstom rom, you can go to the applications list, press menu, you will see an option to "share" (its the one on the rightmost part of the screen) and send it trhough bluetooth. now if you are to transfer the SD file with that game (i'm not sure who the creator is) if its from gameloft, it should be under /sdcard/gameloft/data/deadspace or if it is not gameloft, /sdcard/android/games/data (i think) and transfer the file through bluetooth using a file explorer (bluetooth file transfer, astro, ES). And if you would be so kind to post/attach a copy of the game here since its free? i'm also not seeing it on my device (philippines). thanks a lot mate!
edit: if you are rooted, use titanium backup. it will also allow you to send the saved game. both phones should be rooted though. then send the files throug file explorer. you will find the backup on /sdcard/TitaniumBackup

Thanks for the tips, but it is not free. I paid AU$4 for it (about $2 less than market).
For a number of reasons including this and the site policy I cannot post the apk. I was just after a way to use the game on a new phone other than Samsung, as I feel the Samsung 'Samsung device only' policy is restrictive. Having paid for it, I would like to have it on new devices, but cannot insist (having agreed to their terms).

I want to know how can I install it to other device?
When I copying it from system folder and trying to install on my ZT-282 C91 Upgrade or other android device it's giving me error and tells that application was not installed.
Please help me with this trouble. On the next week I need to fly far away from civilization and there only books will be available and I'd like to read them on my 10" pad but not on 4.5" smartphone.
Some apps have a data file as well. Maybe you should try copying the data folder over too.

The second and third are Aldiko ereaders. Mirrors of eachother. Just use the official second one. Or if it doesn't work, the third one. If you are not happy, use the first one.
download it using the mediafire link.
And you should get an APK. That is an App. Put it on your sd then in your 10". Then use a file manager to install it. If you do not have one, install astro from the market. Then go into your sd with that app. Click on the file then install.
Anyway, back to your prob. You will have to copy the directory (ereader) from the system. And maybe the DATA folder.
It will not be compatible the way you did it because they are two different devices. Copying the system whole will not work.

If its com.htc.ereader then it is probably an HTC sense application which we all know cannot be brought to a non sense ROM.
And that ROM you linked is sense 3.6. So I'm putting big money on the table its a sense app

I have an open souce app I wanted modded. I have the original apk and 2 versions that have already been modded, I just need a small tweak. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? I'm able to compensate someone for their time.

You're lucky, I'm in holiday, please tell me more. What's the "tweak". And maybe I can teach you to do it yourself, that way you won't have to compensate anyone for their time except you .
I need to know: what's the name of the apk (and what type of app it is), what do you want to modify in it (which component), and how does this app works (a quick sum up is enough).
So here are the basics. It's an otg app that uses a default download destination called "download" when tranferring files from the phone/host to the usb device. The 2 modded versions changed that destination to "download 3" and "download 4". I just want to go back one level and have it write to the root directory. I have all 3 apk files. I could probably do it myself with a little guidance, but I don't have a computer yet. (someone broke into my apartment), but I am trying to still put mysic on my mp3 player and this app seems to be the only one that works. Thank you for any help.
Did I need to give you more info.? The app is Anda Studio OTG Disk Explorer Pro 3.02. I have the apk for all 3 that I can send you, unless there is an app that lets me decompile the apks, then I CAN actually do it myself.
