What boot.img did you replace in the first place for the 2.3.5 fxz?? And, why? What instructions did you follow? Also, probably the reason why it failed the first time is because your md5 sums in that .xml you linked do not match the ones from the original "replace.zip" found here - which contains all the necessary files from 2.3.6 and the proper .xml - look under this heading:
How to flash the FXZ once applying the OTA update and get back to 2.3.5, ONCE YOU UPDATE TO THE OTS 2.3.6 YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FLASH THE 2.3.5 FXZ WITHOUT FOLLOWING THESE STEPS BELOW!!
Click to collapse
And, if you weren't using those replace files in the first place, then that is a big issue..
Another question, why not just use the 2.3.6 fxz in the first place? It's been available for a while now..
Not sure about your next steps.. could depend on what boot.img you flashed.. maybe try the full 2.3.6 fxz package (?) - see here

affter the boot.img of stock rom dint work... and after the replace files dint work.. i have replaced boot.img from
http://www.mediafire.com/?y4335f29j6qbq8y
though...thanks for the 2.3.6 stock link....
welll.... i will update you once im finished with downloading 2.3.6 and flashing it....

Used 2.3.6 fxz but failed to flash. Flash process failed at 3/19step.
"mbmloader.bin"

You must need to patch the fxz and you'll be fine.

Installing Superuser VIA ClockWorkMod

When Trying to install Superuser using this method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340526)
It gives me an error (status 0) and aborts installation
I am running Stock ICS 4.0.4 (the thread says rooting for 2.3.5 2.3.6 But i was told 4.0.4 should work too)
Any help is great thanks!
Edit : Never mind apperently just trying over and over got it to work :s Says it installed successfully, sorry about the post!
Download the SU files again. Sounds pike a bad download. Also if the zip is for GB it won't flash on ICS because the SU apk is not compatible.

I had the same issue when trying to root. Download new Superuser file and new su binary file. You may have to flash each multiple times before they catch. I flashed both twice before they succeeded. Flash the Superuser first and then the su binary. Hope this helps.
Note: I did this for stock 2.3.6 but the process should be the same
It took 3 times to root the original leak

UCMC1 won't flash

Having successfully installed Beanstalk, I had to change the radio. I tried installing radio-att-I727-UCMC1-no-csc-no-ril-cwm.zip with TWRP 2500 but it failed to flash. Error log shows the following: =================================

Should I be using cwm recovery to flash this radio?

Idk, I've flashed the same file and with bean stalk and don't have problems. Did you try it more than once? I'm sure you did. Try doing a clean install of bean stalk. Flash the rom and then the radio.

I am Rogers. Also I restored back to LiquidSmooth 4.1.2 so I could use the phone and have been attempting to flash UCMC1 radio while still using the liquidsmooth ROM. Could that be the problem?, although I believe it should work with this radio, too.

Thanks for the help. I've tried flashing RUXUMA7 AND UCLF6. Both failed with very similar error. I also tried flashing RUXLF3 which is the radio already in the phone, fearing that if I change radios and need to go back to this radio for LiquidSmooth 4.1.2 I would really be in trouble if this wouldn't flash. Anyway it also failed. I tried flashing from both the sd card and the internal card without success. I may just be stuck with my LiquidSmooth, which btw works great.

MAYBE SOLVED! I extracted the zip file for RUXUMA7 and re-zipped it with 7zip. It flashed perfectly. Seems there was something wrong with the original zip file downloaded with google chrome. The MD5 was fine, but Recovery wouldn't open it.

Beanstalk flashed fine after changing the updater-script. And after extracting the radio RUXUMAZ and rezipping it with zip7, it flashed fine also.
Now I am good to go.

You don't have to be unrooted. Download the factory image and extract the files from it. In there is another zip file which needs to be extracted. In there you'll find the system and boot images
Uninstall Xposed if you have it, also, you should try this: flash the 4.4 system.img extracted from the factory image then try flashing the OTA zip again.
