Hey Guys what's up? I was wondering if i could have your feedback on which Rom & Kernel do YOU consider the best?
Ive tried almost all of them but I cant really make my mind up, im really into Sense AOSP etc.

Ok sense and aosp are totally different. I think no-sense is what your talking about. Try the hyper no-sense Rom. Personally I like the faux kernel but the morfic kernel is quickly becoming something great. It's up to you to try them all and see.

My absolute favorite ROM for the MyTouch 4G is Virtuous Unity 2.39.0. It's great on the battery, I found a working Genius Button Fix and Beats Audio

I agree - the first step you should do is to decide whether you'd like to use Sense-based ROM or not, as there's a great difference between those. For Sense you may check Virtuous Unity, for AOSP - Cyanogenmod 7.1. Only after that you may go deeper for more customized versions of either Sense or not builds.

I wonder if there's any noticeable differences between Virtuous Unity and Affinity. I know - the first is Sense 3.0, the second - Sense 3.5. But isn't the 3.5 just an optimized version of 3.0, and why do many people prefer 3.0 over 3.5? Most reviews I read didn't make it clear to me.

There awesome! all the ones that I've tried are fast and have great battery life and is a nice change from the regular android experience

Yes, try the Official Port of Android Revolution HD™ 7.0.0 ROM. Very smooth, just missing working WiFi calling and you will need to flash another camera to get the ffc working properly. Wow, its super!

I would agree that Android Revolution 7.0.2 rocks! It's VERY stable. Some people will call me crazy, but I am new to flashing roms & I don't really like the cyanogen 7 Rom. It's ok, but not for me....

Maybe this will make Sense 4 ROMs for the pyramid fully functional.
The VilleC2 codes are listed as One S but the build number for them are 1.11.xxx.xxx

for some ppl, just like me they aren`t fully functional, as MHL link support is missing. So there are ALMOSt fully functional, but not in 100% hope that`s what OP mean
well, i'd love to see sense 4 with STOCK kernel.

I thought porting the VilleC2 kernel would enable features like the picture taking while the phone is recording a video. I don't know much about kernels so I was just making assumptions.

So I just unlocked my phone's bootloader. It's a Telus htc one x with 1.91 firmware running on ics. Just wondering which rom I should flash? I used evita if that means anything. Would like jelly bean if possible.

So I can flash anything from this section of forums? I like sense, I flashed CM10 just to get it officially rooted. Looking for the lastest and greatest, just don't know where to download, unless it's just scattered across here.
Go to android development forum there are a number of sense jb roms. Not a lot of tweaks in them yet as the Rom just got released. I use viper and its very stable but there are a few choices

THIS IS MY PREFERENCE: If you want a stock android feel with the battery and camera of Sense use Senseless RebelROM (in android development Sexton). Right now it's in beta and the video camera doesn't work but other than that it's phenomenal. As the precious poster said, Viper is also a great choice. If you don't like Sense, Nocturnal Dirty and Jellybam are both good choices.

Thanks! I'm trying out Viper now, had it for 3 days. I think I might try out Nocturnal or Jellybam.
Well,I don't think there are Kernels supported for 4.2.2 JB in XDA..Thats Insane! I Need a Kernel with Sweep2wake and a good Battery management.Can U guys suggest me some kernels?
