Well I tried but could not get it to install. I can't find anything to compare to the calendar widget in Synergy in the Play Store.... damn!!!

I would have to see a picture, but the touch wiz widget is very nice, i also like the widget from business calendar, might try those

Synergy does have a Jelly Bean version out. Dunno it's progress as I've been mostly on CM10 for a while.

CM7 Clock and Calendar (want to use TouchWiz ones)?

Using CM7; is it possible to use the touchwiz calendar and clock apps and load them into CM7?
The alarm clock on the CM7 ROM is not as good as the Touchwiz one. The calendar is also a little better on the touchwiz vs. AOSP/CM7 one...
Does CM7 have touchwiz?
Nope, Cm7 is based on aosp, touch wiz is a samsung exclusive thing.
also there is an entire sticky devoted to cm7 questions. didn't really need a new thread...
tw widgets need tw launcher running even on stock roms. as far as the apps i think they need tw framework to run in the first place. not sure though. basically get over the aosp thing and hop on the jvb bandwagon. ideal and beliefs aside there are reasons that the whole comunity didnt flash cm7 and start building aosp spin offs. some the the touch wiz software is very user friendly and not quite as ugly as the aosp versions.

What launcher and theme gets the closest Vanilla ICS?

Hi,
I've never been into changing launchers as I've heard that it has a negative effect on battery life. What I really want is to get is the something thats as light as vanilla ICS on the galaxy Nexus. What launcher/theme can do this, without having an effect on battery?
Hi mate, are you using a Samsung ROM? Because obviously they have TouchWiz and all of Samsung's style all over them (not for me AT ALL). The closest you can get to vanilla ICS is an AOSP ROM (CM9 or similar) and using the stock theme and launcher (varies from ROM to ROM, its usually Trebuchet though).
I'm personally using Staxx's latest PARANOIDANDROID build, with the ICS Fixer theme (free on the market) and Apex launcher with the stock launcher frozen via Titanium Backup. No battery drain whatsoever from Apex and the ICS Fixer theme just uses the stock Ice Cream Sandwich theme with everything (pop-ups, menus, progress bars etc.) themed to suit Android 4.0. Looks great + has fantastic battery life in my opinion
Hope that helps you out.

Nova Launcher and Apex are good, but only if you are willing/able to pay for them as without the upgrade they can't even show you unread notifications (something that for me is a must within any launcher).

CM10 Lockscreen on Sense

Im running XI40 Sense 4.1 rom on my HTC One X for ATT. Is there any way to have the CM10 Lockcreen with the weather and other info on a sense rom? Or do I have to stick with a ASOP rom to have it? Thanks.
I can't answer for sure one way or the other, but I imagine the CM10 lockscreen's features are tied to the ROM.
You could try something like Widget Locker to emulate some of the functionality, though.

[REQ] Jelly Bean Notification Drawer for ICS

Been here a while but haven't really posted much. I've tested a few JB builds and I really enjoyed the shortcuts (call, quick reply) as well as the detailed information (such as from gmail, texts etc). All of the JB roms I've tested have a few features not working that I need but I'd very much like the notification drawer. So I was wondering if it was possible to make a notifications drawer similar to Jelly Bean's notification drawer for ICS or at least a way to backport it (and if anyone was willing to do it, of course)?

+1.

[Q] Reverting back to ICS apps from JB?

For example, I liked how the old ICS flashlight widget "Assistive Light" is bigger than the JB version. Is there a way to take the ICS version and put it on the JB version? Same goes for the "Alarm Clock" widget
