I was gifted a brand new Mytouch Q and I was looking around for root options or at least a forum but couldn't find anything.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it'll be a big help. Thanx in advance.

LG/Huawei makes low end phones so the phones they have on here either have to be popular and or high end smart phones. U might wanna google what your looking for or u can look in the android dev section and goto the android software development and hacking. (Before i edited this i was still pissed that htc dropped the mytouch line and was thinking about that and typed that instead lol )

It's not the LG one, it's the new Huawei model that came out the same day as the T-Mobile Note. Anyways thanx for the heads up, I will Google search it.

google how to root huawei mytouch it should be at the top. sorry i cant post links yet it would be alot easier for everyone. i have the files im going to try and post them now. it wont let me so gmail me [email protected] i will send it to whoever. just to let u all know i didnt make the exploit i just found it and am trying to get it out that there is root so all the devs can get some roms made. thanks for your time

that is not for huawei mytouch q. we need huawei mytouch dev suport. the mytouch name is made by to many people so to make things easier to find use in your search huawei mytouch

This is the myTouch4G Slide forum. The Q is a totally different phone. There is forum at android central that is exclusivly MTQ centered like this forum is centered around the MT4GS.

I sold this phone and bought a S3, the second day I had it. I already had a T Mo Note but wanted a phone to have to mess around so I thought that would be a good one. Ended up selling it for 250 and paid another 200 for an S3. Going to be selling both to get a Note 2. Thanx anyways.

Lol yea it was a hipster guy and thought the white phone was "rad" lol. S3 and Note have to be the two best devices I've ever owned.

Hey everyone I have a couple questions that I need answered if possible. My in-laws are moving to China in August. They have Verizon right now but are gonna put their account on hold since global costs to much. When they move over there they will be just getting SIM cards and new phones. My mother in law wants to know how much an iPhone would cost her there? I'm pretty sure she doesn't want any other phone Lol. We googled about how much in China it would cost, but couldn't find any good info. I know I could just Google everything ya ya I know this Lol. I just know this is a great place to ask questions about phone stuff. My father in law will have an android phone, not sure which one just yet.....I'm basically asking someone who has had to do this before or knows about any of this. Or if there are smarter options for them that is the cheapest bet or whatever, that would be great. I'd really appreciate it if someone could take a couple mins to help me out. It would be a huge blessing....thanks!!!

Being that she is on Verizon here in the states, she can't unlock her current phone... Verizon and Sprint are on CDMA networks, the phone on these networks can't be unlocked... Now At&t and T-Mobile, they can... Any GSM network phone can be unlocked... At&t well unlock your phone, if you want it to be unlocked after your contracts up... I'm sure their not tech savvy, even with a unlocked phone, there's some tweaking you got to do, to the settings to get everything to work on any particular carrier... So you might have to help them with that, if they get a unlocked phone... Maybe what you might want to do is, figure out what carrier their thinking of using there, then search for phones on eBay, Amazon, and other smartphone selling websites...

Still not clear, but thank you. I will be making a profit from the sale of the phone. I'm worried that when I purchase a new phone, and activate it with ATT I will be flagged since its not the phone I originally purchased. Anyone with anymore insight care to chime in?
I dont think it should be a problem just tell them you bought another phone to use whe you go abroad. As long as you still pay your bill should be fine

Hey guys
I think this question has been asked a lot but I can't seen to find an accurate answer.
I have this sprint galaxy 2 that I no longer use but want it to be a mp3 player with WiFi. I am thinking to flash it with a T-Mobile rom that I like. I hate the sprint activation that pops up everytime I reboot. I know the T-Mobile rom doesn't. Will there be any kind of problem.
Any help will be appreciated.
